You can still increase the header height by changing the logo margins. This is still in common.css:

}

FontAwesome is included in the phpBB core as opposed to the Milk Theme, so we can’t control its versioning.

However, the font files are present in phpbb/assets/fonts/ , and the corresponding CSS in: phpbb/assets/css/font-awesome.min.css .

If you download the latest versions of these from the fontawesome website and overwrite the files in the locations above, you should be able to use the new glyphs

They will resize automatically, so any size image can be used . Higher resolutions would be a better option though.

The username colour in the header is set by the ‘group colour’ setting in phpBB, so it’s generally recommended to change to a lighter group colour if you have trouble seeing it over the header background. You might also have more success if you set the navbar position to ‘outside header’ , as the links and username will appear on a solid grey background.

Regarding logo position, thanks for the suggestion! This is also something we’d like to implement, so stay tuned for a future update

I also emailed you yesterday with some other concerns but haven’t heard back from you so I’ll post one of my concerns here.

One of the reasons I ordered the skin was the live demo. For some reason, I thought the rounded avatars and avatars on the last post were a mod built into the skin since they were shown on the live demo. Disappointing. You may want to somehow change that on the demo.

I’ve also noticed that all of the fields like the username & password box don’t have any colour on the edging so its extremaly difficult to see where you need to type, this is the same within the profile section also and I’m guessing anywhere which has a text box?

Can this be changed?

Can you confirm which page this is on? All inputs should have a faint border – albeit intentionally faint for design purposes. If there’s one missing, just let me know and we can push a quick fix out.

I’ve tried your demo and my site on chrome and ie11 and they both have the same issue.

Yep! The download file contains versions for phpBB 3.1 and 3.2 . However, the 3.1 version is visually more basic than the phpBB 3.2 version (doesn’t have the same modern gradients), also, many of the features advertised on the front page here were added into the phpBB 3.2 release – so won’t be present in 3.1 .

As for mChat, the Milk Theme is fully compatible with the most recent mChat release

The most things a webmaster can finger out with the inspect and debug option in Google Chrome, but some things are more difficult to find and adjust. A little bit more category help text in the css files makes life easier.
