I would like to ask you about one more thing that I’m unsure about.
In my portfolio site I’m having in total 6 portfolio-items. Each of the portfolio-items is having on the bottom of the page a section called “More cases” which is meant to shows the 5 other portfolio-items.
I would like that while one portfolio-item page is viewed — the other 5 cases are being displayed.

How can I achieve this?

Hi,
We could suggest to apply your css in Select options > general > Custom Code > Custom Css. This field will persist even after theme update. And if you modify some of our css scripts, after theme update, you’ll need to do changes again.

Hello Select,
I currently set up my header type to “Standard Header” — as I would like the different menu labels to be displayed in the standard way on desktop.
Although, I would like the responsive menu, on tablet and mobile, to behave as it does the “Minimal Header” type on desktop — making use of the pop-up with dark background color and big navigation labels.
How can I achieve this?

Unfortunately, Full Screen menu could be applied only on desktop header, it is not designed for mobile

Excuse me if I’m not correct but the design elements are already there for desktop — wouldn’t it be to set that page type attributes into a media query and tweak some css positioning while setting exclusively the responsive menu header to this type?
It’s so sad that with such a beautiful, functional and complete theme as Ukiyo something so basic and usable as a responsive menu header is missing
I’m not an expert in front-end design but I would love to try and do it myself, but I’m really afraid to break it!
I would really appreciate if you have any suggestions.

Hi guys!! Awesome Theme, it’s been super useful.
I have one quick question, How did you manage to insert break lines into the qodef_custom_font with the effects? Every time I try to break the lines, I will end with no break, or a break but with the
tag displayed also on the front end… Already tried tags and a bunch of other ways... Any clue?

It is just slug for Portoflio item, not like parent. Anyhow, you cannot remove it, but you are able to change this slug in Select Options > Portfolio > Portfolio Single Slug https://www.screencast.com/t/WOusPg4rD So, you could type there desired slug, just make sure it needs to be unique. It means you cannot use any slug that already exists as slug of your page.Best, Select

I’m having troubles on getting to display my portfolio content. Perhaps you can help me:
I edited all demo portfolio items into drafts.
I deleted all demo categories and added the ones I intend to use. I created new portfolio items which are linked with my new categories — but on the front page, it’s currently being displayed “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.”
What can I do to solve this and display my new portfolio items?

I had recently set up Ukiyo theme into my domain: www.martin-cohen.com

All theme text strings are registered labels, and you can translate them with poedit software. You need to create translation file for your language and to translate theme labels. Use poedit software https://poedit.net/, load translation file from theme folder / languages, translate it, and name it according to WP Codex https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/teams/

There is no option for that, unfortunately Only if you modify our code and how this custom post type – portfolio is registered.

Hello, a very nice theme!
Is ist possible somehow to display captions on gallery images and also when they are clicked trough in lightbox mode? I did not find such exemples on previews.
Also, would it be possible to create a home with a fullscreen slider on top of a metro portfolio grid? So visitors would see first the slider and could scroll down to grid.

Yes, you could embed revolution slider into our field for sliders and it will be shown on the top of page, above portfolio list.

Okay i found it, but the VC was not showing up so i figured out i just needed to turn it on for the portfolio in VC-Role Manager > post types > custom > portfolio-item. Everything is working great now! Thanks

Hello, I just bought the theme, but once installed in my wordpress panel, at the moment of giving it to “activate”, I unconfigure everything, put the admin page blank and all the wordpress environment, nothing can be done , Since no content loads. Only after “cleaning” the files by “admin of files” wordpress returns to normal. Why is that happening ?? How is it solved? Thank you
