To add Header Slider, please go to your page editor, click on ‘plus’ icon in Visual Composer back-end editor, and add a Slider Header element into the first section in your page, then you can add some Sliders with Title, Subtitle, images, video, ... in there. After that, please remember to set the Row layout setting to Stretch Row to have full-width slider header.

Also, if you’ve imported demo content, please open up the Startup Agency page editor to see how we add Header Slider in there.

Yes, the theme comes with 3 site layouts: Wide, Boxed and Frame, you can set the site layout in Appearances > Customize > Site Identity, or at bottom of each page/post editor.

Wanium theme only modify the style in Visual Composer, and keep all the default settings and elements in this plugin so you can feel free to build your site without any problems. And each time there is a new version of the plugin, we’ll make a test with it and include that new version to our theme to keep your site up-to-date.

Hi Danny, that’s fine but the main issue is that “Our beauty treatments” is actually a page and needs to be clicked, so if I put a link as ”#” that doesn’t help. I tried the horizontal menu and that works pretty well, but I need the vertical one. Any other suggestions? thank you.

To resolve this issue, please open up the scripts.js file in themes/wanium/assets/js folder, find the code below (around line 239):

jQuery('.nav-container').on('click', '.subnav-icon, .menu-item a[href="#"]', function(e) {

... and change it into this:

jQuery('.nav-container').on('click', '.subnav-icon, .menu-item a[href="#"], .menu-item i', function(e) {

Then you can click on “arrow-right” icon on the right of “Our beauty treatments” menu to open submenu.

Please remember to hard refresh your browser before check the menu again.

Please see below the answer for your questions:

1: The reason we use Css compiled field is mainly for the customization purpose that you can see in Appearances > Customize, so that when you click on Save Changes button in there, your CSS file would be automatically generated based on the options you choose. This is just a dynamic styles. And when you want to add some CSS code, you can add it to Appearances > Customize > Fonts & CSS > Custom CSS field.

2: That is nice feature, we will keep updating it, thanks a lot!

3: That was only some preset header layouts we want to provide for some of users who don’t want to manual customize the color options. We’ll update the documentation in order to better explain this.

4: You can change the menu color in Appearances > Customize > Colors. Currently you can change all menu/submenu color in that section, otherwise you’ll need to add custom CSS code to make the changes. We’ll try to add more color options for the menu.

5: Thanks for the suggestion. We will consider to add this feature.

About the menu issue, we’ll check this and keep updating it in future updates.

Concerning the menu related bug, roughly speaking, how many days or weeks it may take to fix it? As if it will take a very long time, I might need to hire a developer to fix it for me. (Note: I don’t mind hiring you to fix it if that would speed up the work).
