Is a framework required? I’m looking for a template that I can use without a framework of any kind, just straight PHP.
Hi, you won’t need any php framework for this. The only files required are the js files and css/fonts etc.
The only PHP files we require you to use are the mail sending scripts for the contact forms, which are supplied, and already configured to work with the javascript to submit via ajax.

Is there a direct way to add text Titles in each section using the builder ? For eg – I would like to add the title ‘Team’ in the team section or ‘Portfolio’ in the portfolio section. For now I am managing by just adding the tags directly in the HTML I get from variant.
Hi there,
There are separate sections for titles, you’ll see the option for “Titles” in the filter dropdown, once you add a title section before your content block (eg. team) the spacing will adapt so they appear as one continuous section.
Thanks, Craig
Thanks for the reply.
No worries
Thank your for great work! I have one question: How to make 4 columns layout for cards (masonry) blog (or cards/masonry portfolio) ? I’m try change class col-md-4 to col-md-3 but in result I have again 3 column with size in 1/3 section width. Please help me!
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing!
Ensure you change the first item inside the .masonry__container element to also had col-md-3, that item, though hidden is used to size the grid correctly. If you have troubles with this – just open a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com and we can assist in more detail.
Thanks, Craig
Hi there,
Thanks for creating this awesome theme. I saw that you guys are working on a SASS version. Do you already know when you are going to release this version?
Thanks Jorn
Hi there Jorn,
Thanks for purchasing!
We don’t have a SASS version in the works – we offer the LESS files though so you can compile your own CSS files.
Cheers, Craig
Is it possible to simply save all files into a directory for use instead of exporting the files to re upload to my server?
Hi there,
Do you mean use an FTP to directly upload the files? If so, this feature is not currently available.
Thanks,
Craig

We’ve responded via Ticksy, thanks for opening a ticket
Hi, the slider on landing-9 gets messed up if you have different length headings in it, as in if you have something that becomes 2 lines versus 3 lines in the same slideshow, on mobile the image won’t take up the full height of the slider area. Is there a fix on the way?
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing!
Would you mind opening a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com with a link to your site so we can inspect and provide a fix?
Thanks,
Craig
Hi, when using the dark theme, it shows dark on computers but light version on mobile – how can I fix this?
Thank you.
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing Stack!
You may also need to add the class “bg—dark” to the mobile bar in the output HTML. If you’d like to open a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com we can provide closer assistance.
Thanks,
Craig
Hi, I bought Foundry but Stack looks amazing and a different animal altogether. I’m very close to purchasing it the way it is but I really want to put custom form fields on the cover image. Do you thinks you’ll be integrating this feature soon?
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing Foundry, glad to hear you’re interested in Stack!
You can definitely add your own custom fields to the form, you’ll see a few demonstrations of the different form fields on this page: http://trystack.mediumra.re/elements-form-elements.html
Cheers, Craig
Hi guys,
I have a problem with carousel slider. It is not working properly. I’ve copied all generated code from Variant Builder, but on html page are just photos without arrows or slider mechanism.
Any idea why?
I’ve added all js and css files on server as well.
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing!
It sounds like there might be a missing reference to the slider js file – can you open a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com with a link to your site so we can inspect first-hand?
Thanks, Craig
Hi, thank you for your reply. That’s right, there is no slider.js file included in html code, cause there is no slider.js file in theme folders at all.
Ok, my mistake. It is working now.
No problem
Hi guys,
It’s encouraging to hear that you are now ‘considering more seriously’ an admin theme but please consider it even more seriously than you are currently considering it
With winter soon arriving in Melbourne, it might be a good opportunity for you to hunker down and develop an admin theme in the colder and months ahead?
Anyway, here’s hoping!
Thanks Birdeenums,
Is there something in particular you feel an MR admin theme would offer that is not currently offered by other admin templates? Is design your main concern, is it the possibility of building in Variant? The more feedback we can get the better.
Cheers again,
Craig
Nothing in particular but I think the initial admin panels you’ve designed for Stack are a step in the right direction but just need expanding on.
Other admin themes have bloated designs and are very samey.
The jewel in the crown is your Variant builder, so if you can hook up an admin orientated theme with the MR aesthetic then we can quickly iterate dashboards using Variant.
The trouble with Stack is the admin/profile screens are lost in the theme generally and mixed in with front end stuff.
In a nutshell, a theme focussed purely on backend admins and dashboards, using Variant, would be a killer product in my opinion.
Thanks again for you feedback!
You’re welcome, I see quite a growing list of people requesting that you design an admin theme.
Here are some inspiring account dashboards…
- Dropbox.com - DigitalOcean.com - TryCelery.com
Bootstrap are selling a dashboard theme for $99 and it’s rubbish!
https://themes.getbootstrap.com/products/dashboardHi there. First of all, awesome template. I love the code quality and the looks!
Few things: 1. Are there less files for the included custom color scheme css files? 2. Would it be possible for you to include styled bootstrap alerts? 3. One thing I really miss in this theme is colored text classes (red/green/orange/etc) for stuff like form input error text or warnings. 4. I’d very much love to see a simple web app (admin) page design and software documentation example pages. You could do it as a separate theme, or release a new theme which would be consistent with this one. Either way I’d buy it straight away. I love the simplicity and lack of bloatness in your theme which most of other themes on themeforest do not have. If you do decide to go with a new admin theme, please please please, don’t put loads of jquery plugins on it, I’d love to see a framework agnostic admin package, since most of my work is done on different javascript frameworks (anything but jquery).
Anyway, this is the best template on themeforest IMHO. Keep up the good work!
Hi there,
Thanks for purchasing!
1. No, you just need to change the colour variables inside the theme_variables.less file to adjust the colours.
2. Yes, we will include dimissable alerts in an upcoming update.
3. Good point – we can improve on the text utility classes, this is something I’ll put on our update list.
4. Thanks for this feedback – it appears we have increasing demand for a lite-admin style template and this is something we are now considering more seriously.
Cheers again.
Craig
Regarding, #1 I meant that maybe you could provide us with an already configured theme_variables.less files for different themes that are already included (as compiled css files) in the shipped version?
Another note:
I had to go through the code to figure out which icon fonts are used for what. If you could build a page to list out the different fonts with the appropriate icons, that’d be awesome. Or just add the links to the their documentation, that’d be cool too. I’m pulling dependencies from npm, so I’d rather do that than include plain files shipped with the theme.
Also, any chance you could invite me to your git repo for this theme? I’d like to stay up to date with the latest fixes and releases
obviously not necessary, but would be awesome for me.
Thanks!
Apologies for the delayed reply to this! We’ll take this on board and possibly add some elements-icon pages that do a better job of showing which icons are in which kit
Thanks, Craig
We want to use the wizard to create a multi step form, and then place it inside of one of you popup modals. Is that possible? We are currently doing it via an iframe and having major issues eith the responsive sizing, etc. Thanks!
Hi there,
Did you try placing the Wizard markup inside a modal? There’s no reason why this shouldn’t work, if you run into troubles, open a ticket at mediumrare.ticksy.com and we can take a look at your site and help to troubleshoot
Thanks, Craig
Hi, my checkbox doesn’t seem to work inside the wizard. The styled checkbox is separate from the default html checkbox. The two of them are visible on the page. What could be the issue?
Hi there,
Thanks for opening a ticket – We’ve reponded to this enquiry on TIcksy.
Thanks, Craig
Simple question (maybe)...how do you update? With so many changes to download, what files do we change? Will we have to redo our pages? Thanks!
Hi, could be nice to get back the @navbar-height variable for LESS files.
Thanks Isaac, I’ll add this to our next update
Craig
My apologies Isaac, I accidentally read this as logo-height. For the nav bar there are already a number of classes to control the height (it adds more padding to the top and bottom)
bar—xs bar—sm bar—lg bar—xlg
is this what you had in mind?
Thanks, Craig
Hi, my client buy this theme but, the mailer not working. error : Connection to tcp://mail.domain.com:465 Timed Out and if i use gmail error : Connection could not be established with host smtp.gmail.com
Please check you contact form and update it. thanks
solved
Glad you got it working
Hi, I think I’ve killed it (or just lost the ability to edit). I can’t find a way to re-access the builder – opening builder.html now gives me a blank canvas, it isn’t pulling in any of the html files I created. Any suggestions? Is there a specific file I need to locate to get these in? Cheers Patrick
Hi Patrick, are you seeing any errors appearing in your developer tools browser console? Let us know if you are by raising a ticket at http://mediumrare.ticksy.com
Also if you could upload a screenshot or screen video of what you are experiencing that would really help us identify any potential bugs.
Pages in Variant are stored in browser storage – so in order to restore them you would either need to load them in Variant (when it is working again) or you could import them from a .variant file you exported previously.
Thanks for your patience in this matter, and we look forward to assisting you on a ticket at http://mediumrare.ticksy.com.
James
are there any rtl demo ??
Hi,
No we do not have one of our own, but here is a short example of a site made in Stack using RTL:
http://www.premiumprop.co.il/sky/James
And please can you add “Discord” to the SOCICONs for Footer? Thank you!
3. Last but not least: Utility -> In Page navigator -> I can’t change Section name (mouseover) within the builder. Can you update it next time too? Thank you
Hi,
It would be great if you could open a ticket with these suggestions. Tickets are managed at http://mediumrare.ticksy.com
Thanks, James
