I purchased this for my WordPress site, and when I began installing the plugins it crashed my website and remains unable to be brought back up, or even accessed through its URL or WordPress dashboard. How do I get my website back to working and then fix this the next time i upload and install plugins?
So i discovered that it is whenever I active the “WPBakery Visual Composer” that my site goes down. Is there a fix for this or an older version that would work?
Hello! We tested the installation on a clean environment and there were no problems with the plugins. In addition, Visual Composer update was a long time ago and this is the first complaint. I just purchased your theme and tried to install the argenta.zip on localhost/wordpress the way you discribed it, but unfortunately it didn´t work. I downloaded another free theme and installed it the same way and it worked fine. Is there something wrong with the argenta theme?

For what reason you can not install a theme? Is there an error or Wordpress just not install the theme? Or the site does not look as expected?
The latest version was tested by a lot of clients and there were no problems with installation yet.
Perhaps you have mistaken the archives. One archive contains a theme, the second contains an archive with a theme, documentation, license and version of the old branch. You need install first archive.
Thanks for your quick reply. I tried to install the Argenta.zip an after it is uploaded the only message i get is : “Are you sure you want to do this?” And an clickable text that says “Please try again.” Which brings me back to the theme upload page.
Now it works!!!
I installed xampp instead of mamp and now everything is fine. The theme looks great, thanks!

It was a silent update. Read carefully the message that appears when you update – you can migrate to new version or use the old one.

What is funny and sad is that you guys are more concerned about my review, than actually solving my problem (and other customers’) back when I needed help in the crucial time.
Not to mention your sneaky attempt to give me refund – saying it was to make it up to me for the troubles you guys caused (Because 60$ will solve all of life’s problems). We know it was completely only to make the bad review go away (We all know that bad reviews go away once you refund). That showed your company’s attitude in a big way.
And you still think I left the bad review because of a “bug” (imagine me making dramatic air-quotes).

Well, apologies accepted. All I expected was a workaround and not really to fix that exact bug. In fact I don’t care if you never fixed that bug. My purpose could have been solved by many methods if you guys just tried to think ahead a bit beyond the scope. After that not all pages were broken on iOS.
I do like the theme, just not your support, but little things like when the site breaks after hitting update from my WP Cpanel, hurts a lot and frustrates. At first I thought all work was lost. Later I had to switch to default theme, delete the theme and install old version and activate it. At least everything came back to normal.
Why I continue to use it? its a matter of investment. I have invested time in this, though lost a lot too. But will I consider the same theme for a future project? Thats a question mark, unless what you’ve bundled with 2.0 is mind-blowingly amazing.
Today I noticed a typo in the blog index page filter controls, where Author was spelt Athor. Try to avoid things like that, esp, when you don’t provide options to tweak them easily. Website creators like us are the ones who feel embarrassed when a client says “just fix that little typo”, and I have to say, well I have to create a child theme and modify php files after understanding the code, or we could hide that section with CSS completely. Doesn’t make us come across as professional. As you can imagine their next question is why would you choose such a theme for us then?

In the file code you can find ‘order’ => ‘DESC’ string. Just change DESC to ASK. We recommend use Argenta Child Theme for this.

This issue occurs due to the occurrence of any error on your hosting. Almost always this is a lack of memory for importing demos (the solution to this problem is described in the article). Is much less likely this due to the rights to the folder in the directory or the prohibition of access your hosting to certain countries. We recommend that you reinstall WordPress and install the theme and import the demo already on the clear WordPress.

1. Yes, Argenta Theme has multilanguage support and you can use qTranslate X or WPML plugins to insert a lang menu to the header of your website.
2. What about footer, you can use any of the existing widgets or paste your own html code.

Hi I am trying to have a different styling on the last menu item. But it doesn’t seems to work. I add a class name to the menu item, but that class name is not visible in the source code…? I installed all the plugins recommended by the theme and then I imported one of the demos, however, only imported the homepage and some project but the other pages as services, about us, contact, etc, have not been imported.

When I click on Import Demo Data it only generates the main page, the services, about us and contact. There is no portfolio, blog, shop, anything you have on the sample page. There are more people like me who are having the same problem, your theme is not right and you are doing nothing to solve it. I’ve been buying themes for over 5 years and I’ve never had anything like that. What solution do you give me?
It’s strange. Why would someone need have shop, if he wants to create a blog? Or why would someone need have a portfolio, if he sells a digital product? To import absolutely everything is very inconvenient, we have 18 different demos instead of one, which contains everything. If you want to create a personal blog – import a demo. If you need a store – import a demo. You can combine several demos together.
