Hi ! Thanks for a great theme ! I have problem with Ipads. It seems like screens larger 767px dont work for me ? If I use a pad with smaller screen it´s no problem but with 768*1024 the menu doesn´t work and i can´t solve it. Any idéas ? // jonas

I am using a Vimeo video at the end of my frontpage. The video on Vimeo is 3840×1634, so I selected on the theme the 2.35 aspect ratio and it doesn’t seems to be changing the aspect ration on my website. Any advice?

Hello, I have problem with Video thumbnail for portfolio. I insert link with video in this area “Video thumbnail MP4 file path (for portfolio feeds) Optional. You need to use self hosted videos there. This means that you need to upload the mp4 and webm versions of that video into the media library. After doing that just place the video file path there.

Hello again Pirenko. I’ve been struggling with receiving a notification email when I test the contact form on katiethomasconductor.com. (Pulse agency dark). I tried using another contact form plugin ‘Easy contact Pro’ so that I could customise the text colours to be visible on my background picture. (I’ve successfully used that plugin on another website but this time I wasn’t getting a notification, although the form submission said it had successfully submitted.) I then went back to your theme contact form and tried again – the same problem which makes me think it’s not the plugin. It submits but won’t send me an email to the email address I’d added in the element. Do you have a clue why this isn’t happening?

Probably your hosting company is blocking sending emails via the wp_mail function. You should get in touch with them to remove this restriction.
You can also try and install the free plugin Contact Form 7 that has alternative ways to send emails. Please consider also using one of the default WordPress themes to check if the issue is only with Pulse.

Is there an optimum size for a background image on the landing part of the Pulse, Agency Dark theme? I copied the size from your demo version but it zooms too much into the picture so I lose the original perspective. Thanks!

The image is scaled to fill the screen width and height so you may not see the full image. I would say that you should upload an image with 1920×1200 pixels.
If you want to avoid the image being cropped, please remove the option to force the row height to 100%.

Hi Guys,
I have recently bought your Pulse Theme. However I am having trouble with getting a Slider working on the main page. Specifically I am having trouble with getting a video slider working on a portrait mobile devices. There video ends up very small and leaves a large white space when viewed on a iphone of andriod phone. The website I am using the theme is below. Any ideas on how I can get around this?
Note the video doesn’t have to scale to fit the div and would be happy to fill the area.

The theme scales the video so that it does not get cropped on mobile. If you prefer to have your video cropped you should use a self hosted video and make it be the row background (similar to the theme Agency multipage demo).

I mean the body of the content is showing in the top of the body of the homepage. not in the menu. The actual content. I noticed when I first started to build this website, the old pages from my previous page showed at the bottom of the Agency Theme until I deleted the pages. Basically the one page homepage should start with the yellow background picture. As soon as I built a new page http://katiethomasconductor.com/sponsor-katie-thomas-and-the-constellation-club/ , the content of the page showed at the top of the homepage. How can I stop that happening?

On the theme documentation you have an example of the code that you can use. Basically, when you are viewing a video on Vimeo click on the button to Share/embed the video and you will get a piece of text that you can copy/paste.

Thank you – that’s fixed it. On the same method, is there some code that I could add to change the color of the text on the semi transparent contact form. The bit that says name, email etc before you click in the box is such a pale grey it can’t be seen on my background picture. Or is there a better way to do this?

Hi again. I was wondering if there’s a way to get a mailchimp sign up box into the pulse one page theme Agency-dark? I can see it in the appearance :widgits to put it into the custom sidebars and footer but can’t work out how to get it into a column in the theme.

My question is regarding Menus. I understand how menus work. Should I set up an entirely new one for my website or can I edit the ‘Agency Dark’ one that’s already there when I installed the theme by one click? If I change the name of it will it cause a problem?

Hi. We’re running Pulse on our site with some customisation. I’ve tried to update to php 7.0 but there are some compatibility issues. Will an update to Pulse theme fix this? If I update, will customisation be retained and is there a safe way of doing this without ftp? Thanks

Hi, our developer bought the theme on our behalf. If you look at sassandgrace.co.uk you can see it runs it. We’re not in contact with the developer right now but don’t mind paying for any upgrade if that’s what is needed. If that means that I buy the theme again, no problem but I do not have the original envato marketplace sign in which it was bought under

I’m using siteground and when I click to install, it does come up with a dialogue box saying that updating the theme will lose any customisations made. Is that true?
I’m a bit confused, because you said that you did not had access to the latest theme version – “We’re not in contact with the developer right now”.
Anyway, the theme options and all the content generated by WordPress will not be lost during the update process.
In the future if you need support please make sure that you use the purchaser account or buy the theme with your current account like you stated before.
