After updating to 5.0 I now have a nag message that appears on the backend stating that: “Your theme purchase code has expired! Automatic theme updates and access to our support system have been disabled. Please renew support for BuildPress on ThemeForest. Once the support is renewed, please visit the theme registration page and click on the Refresh expiration date button.”

How can I disable this message? I paid for the theme and don’t feel that I should have to look at that message on every screen of the admin. I will purchase support again when I need it.

Ironically the response you gave me to my previous message was that I needed to use the support system to ask about this. This would cause me to have to purchase support in order to ask you how to turn off a message reminding me to purchase support.

Hi – where do I add the google api so that the maps work in the theme?

No worries found it in the link inside the docs: Go to Appearance -> Customizer -> Theme Options -> Other and input your Google Maps API key, that you generated in the first step.

Correction: it is ‘Lato’ that I’m using. There seems to be an issue with ie11 and Lato according to Google searches.

Hello, how can I get rid of the support expiration nag? I know its expired, I dont need a permanent notice nagging me on all the pages. Too damn invasive.

Hi. Yes, this theme is RTL ready and multilingual ready. Like you find out, it is also already translated in many different languages (You can read which ones on the item page) out of the box. Multilingual in BuildPress is supported with WPML, everything should also work with other plugins but we make sure that with WPML everything works perfectly. Take care!

Hi, am currently using version 3.1.0 – should i and can I update to the latest version 5.0.0? Am updating the wordpress core version and all plugins as well.

Hi. There shouldn’t be any problems with updating BuildPress from 3.1.0 to 5.0.0 we take back compatibility very seriously. However, I would still recommend you to do a backup just in case anything goes wrong.

If you choose Header style transparant and set layout to boxed. The transparncy is still full wide and not limited to the boxed area. The background of the area outside the box also has a transparancy. I think it would be better to keep transparancy within the box area.

We don’t officially support any free translation plugin but most of them should work fine if they are following WordPress coding standards.

Hi, hope you can help here.. I have purchased Buildpress, but have the know import issue with the Essential Grid plugin (imports fine, but no grids/skins show).

Server is running PHP 7.0. Do you know of a fix for this? I have searched forums, but cannot see any answer.

My Proteus them support has now expired – do I need to renew support with you or do I have to purchase support from the Essential Grid plugin authors?

Hi, before I purchase this theme can I please check something…a previous theme from elsewhere I purchased yesterday did not allow me to load demo content as my server limit did not meet requirements. our hosting company cannot change the limits unless we upgrade to dedicated or virtual servers which we do not want to do. would this buildpress theme work with the following settings (the ones below are our current fasthosts limits): Server Memory Limit: 128 MB WordPress Memory Limit: 40 MB Max Execution Time: 60 seconds Max Input Vars: 9999

We checked your server settings and the numbers are a little bit on a low side. However, BuildPress should work fine with this settings. If you want you can open a private ticket on our support and create an empty WordPress site on your hosting so we can test if everything works as it should.

In any case, we would recommend changing the hosting. You don’t need a dedicated or virtual server for running slow/medium WordPress site, just good shared hosting would work perfectly fine.

I am not able to activate the coming soon page. Any advice?

Hello. Great theme, just purchased and installed the demo for BuildPress Light. My issue is with the Header Style. I want it to look like the demo and have it set to ‘Light’. It remains dark, and the only time it changes is when I set it to Transparent. Otherwise it remains dark for BOTH Classic AND Light Header Styles. My site is here: http://elvis.gigamediagroup.com/.
