Hi.
I would like to know if the listings and search fields are customizable. I’m asking that because the primary fields in my project are language and hours of operation, besides to all standard fields, such as location, category and such.
Could I do that with this theme?

Well this is possible for sure. It is up to you if you want to make this entirely free or use different packages for your users. So in order for users that want to create their own listings through you, they can choose if they want to use a free or different payed packages. You don’t need to have those payed packages at all if you choose so.

Hi, I have a doubt about the visual composer. When i´m installing the “lister template”, it ask me about the license but I can´t write it, the activation button only redirects me to wpbakery. In the past I bought a Template and it had the option to write the license. The question here is, do I need to activate this? do I have problem if I don´t? If the answer is yes, could yo help me?

We bought extended license for these plugins (Visual Composer, Layer Slider and Slider Revolution), and we can’t give you license code because of policy and terms of Theme Forest, because of that we included these plugins in our theme (you can find plugins in theme folder/plugins/ there are installation files of these plugins), also we will update these plugins to the latest version with theme update so you just need to wait for next theme update and there will be the latest version of plugins if it exists. Then when you update theme you just need to go to your back-end Plugins and to deactivate/delete these plugin then you will get some notification to install necessary plugins to our theme, then just click to install/activate again these plugins and that will be all. If you don’t get this notification to install necessary plugins, then just go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload -> Find these plugins in our theme folder/plugins select one by one and click import/install.
You can ignore messages about activation these plugins, you have/get inside Plugin settings.

I’m interested in buying but a few questions…
1. Is this broken into 2 parts? Business Directory and where people can sell things?
2. I don’t see a place to add a business. Only a section to add a listings. I even created an account and don’t see any option to add your business.
3. Can you limit the number of ads/business in a category?
4. Can you feature particular listings so that they stand out from the rest?

1. You have the listings pages and you have the regular type of pages. Your user also have the ability to login and create their own listings. You can use listings for your Business Directory.
2. There isn’t a particular feature to add a Business but you can you use listings in order to display your Businness. Listings are hierarchical. They have Type, Categories and Amnesties. You can make your listings for bushiness with different categorie.
3. I’m both in love and frustrated with this theme – I’m looking for a theme I can use to build a local business directory.
Please forgive me if I’m missing something (I hope I am), but it seems this theme is designed as a craigslist alternative … focused on specific listings instead of pages with general business information.

It is however a listing theme focused on listings but there are also regular pages included in the theme as well as you always have the possibility to build your own pages with help of Visual Composer.

Every user will have their own profile and it can not be divided into different roles.
This is made by creating a different packages for your users. So in order for users that want to create their own listings through you, they can choose if they want to use a free or different payed packages which have their privileges. You don’t need to list only jobs, you can choose whatever you want to list with Wp job manager and it will have the same concept and features. Searching with postcode isn’t supported by the plugin unfortunately.

I meant the profile button isn’t connecting. The button with the icon of a person doesn’t connect to any dashboard, new listing page, edit profile page, etc.

If you just purchased the theme, maybe data isn’t ready yet so try just a bit later. Also, make sure that you are logged in with the Envato account form which you have purchased the theme, and you can also try to clear browser cache and to login again. There is also another way for submitting a ticket: logout, and then enter your purchase code so try that also.

That will not give a exact location. Would it not be better to have a drag and drop map so people that is not so expired can list and place their venue?

hi there, lov the look of your new theme and im thinking of using it for a general directory i have a couple of questions please 1. is it possible to add a search icon short cut to the header and footer section as its just a bit odd having to go back to the home page each time …. as i don’t want side bars
2. does each members listing have its own unique id – members user name so can add them as a post author… and there each post would have an authors info bar that could have a default link back to their listing page… I know this is pretty standard stuff but I’m just checking
3. could i setup and image gallery + video gallery that again could have short cut links back to the users listing
4. is the site woocommerce store compliable..

2. Each listing has its own unique user id so there is a page that shows all listings form desired author. https://www.screencast.com/t/WYgdSbWV
On single listing page you will have in the sidebar listings by this user displayed with a link where you can only see this users listings. https://www.screencast.com/t/te92l7zOFkB3. We are not quite sure what layout you want to achieve but you can display gallery but you will have to insert the link to the users listing manually through Visual composer elements on that page. If this is not what you are looking for please explain this further.

2. You can add as much categories as you would like to. And we are not sure how you want and where you would like to change the position so please explain this a little bit more. You can choose which categories will be displayed on the page or which type of listing. https://www.screencast.com/t/oM6VN1J8L1. The layout that is on our demo will be the layout that you will get and all other changes will require some modifications or some css code.
3.We tried different galleries and on Andorid devices, and we couldn’t reproduce that. If issue is present on your side, please send us a direct link to a page with issue.
4. You can only add one video in the listing property when creating one but you may add video on the page as a shortcode which will be displayed under the listing content.
5. We have made this only for distance so unfortunately this can only be achieved with an third party plugin or custom coding.
6. We don’t see any problems with why you could use it as an worldwide directory. You will create your listing and you can create as many Types and Categories you want to have.
4. You can divide your listing in to regions. So for example if your location is NY you can divide that into regions as Manhattan, Queens, Bronx etc.

What would you say the minimum hosting requirements should be to run this theme? Would a shared hosting cpanel package with 1 CPU core, 512 MB Ram, metered storage, 1024 Mbps Bandwidth be sufficient? I tried submitting a support ticket, but with no luck.
