Hi, i purchased your theme for my forum and it is really nice, however is there a way of making it so that the sidebar only appears on the index page? It would be awesome if you could help, thanks.

I have a few pre-sale questions.
I want to use my existing sites header and footer.
I have good knowledge with html and css, but limited in php.
1. Will I be able to change/replace the code in the templates to use my own header and footer without too much trouble or will I have to customize the entire themes templates?
2.Will I be able to change colors to my existing sites colors.

So sorry for the delayed reply, I’ve only just seen this!
1) Yes it’s technically possible. The header and footer template files are in HTML format so it’s relatively simple to bring your own code in. The problem you might face is the large number of conditional statements we have in the header. That said, if you’re not planning to modify the existing header, and only looking to wrap an existing design around it – you should be fine
2) Yep! We have a colour picker in our control panel that can be used to set the theme’s colour scheme
I take back a message written by one of the clients, because it is also my case:
“One of the reasons I ordered the skin was the live demo. For some reason, I thought the rounded avatars and avatars on the last post were a mod built into the skin since they were shown on the live demo. Disappointing. You may want to somehow change that on the demo.”

Avatars in the last post can be added with the following extension: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/extension/avatar_in_last_post/
The images in our demo are naturally round, but we can help you with a CSS fix to force square images to become round. Just ping us a message through the ‘support’ tab and we’ll be happy to help

Hello, Is it possible to create a child theme from milk so that updates won’t erase our changes. Another question: Is it possible to remove Sticky, announces logos and text, on the right of the title (I only want tu use the topic icon)

Yep! You could clone the Milk Theme, rename it, then set the parent_style to Milk_v2 in the new style.cfg file .
As for removing the labels, it’s possible but would require manual edits. Best option would be to search the template files for
topic_typeand it should pull up all instances.

2 questions for you
1) Have you purged your cache on the ACP front page? This is a necessary step after installation to initialise the colour picker.
2) If you have, the default colour picker value is set to white (FFFFFF). With the flightdeck extension having a white background as well, it can be a bit tricky to find.
If you find the FFFFFF though, just click on it and the colour picker will pop out. From there once you’ve chosen the new colour, the FlightDeck will remember it so you won’t have the same problem in the future

By default the Milk Theme doesn’t support multi-level dropdowns, but if there are any menu extensions for phpBB 3.2, they should be compatible with Milk without any issues

Any size image will work, the theme will automatically scale the images to best fit the container space. Generally using larger, landscape images that scale down is the best option

Hi, I’m having a couple of issues with the theme.
a) the header image only appears when viewed on a PC; on tablets and smartphones only the selected color scheme appears.
b) something similar happens with the Collapse/Expand buttons; only work on PCs, but not on smaller screens.
Am I doing something wrong?
