hi there, can you please fix the fact that Page Header Video Background doesnt work on mobile devices. the play button can not be pressed. regards, rutger

Hi there,

Thanks for making me aware of this. This will be fixed in the next update. :)

I should add that videos cannot play in the background on mobile devices. In the next update a fallback image will be used instead.

Hub Edition Hi, Can we change the elements of the HUB? Like instead of having the default Reviews, Images, News, Videos can we have something else?

Hi there,

You can enable/disable each of these tabs as well as add your own custom tabs/pages to the hub.

Hi, intrested to buy your theme, but we actual using another theme here from envato, that uses video format and own video plugin with sort of custom field. How we can switch to your theme without lost all our videos? regards?

Excellent. :)

another question, there is an option to place an ad above single posts, is that also possible on the homepage, between header and feature section, to show this across the theme? regards

Hey,

I’ve purchased The Review and Gauge (which I’m currently running on my site) so I’m a little hesitant to purchase a third theme in less than a year…but…

1 – On hub pages, is that a sidebar on the right which will allow me to add ads and widgets? That’s how I have it set up now and would like to keep that.

2 – If some of my child pages are not theme defaults (I have several “checklist” pages), will they convert as well and can I set those to be defaults for new pages?

3 – Is there a prep that should be taken in order to convert or do I just install it and run the converter? I know going from Review to Gauge required me to delete the Review Plugin prior to installing the Gauge theme.

Thanks in advance for your answers. This looks like it has a lot of the functions I wished from your previous themes and not needing to set up all those extra pages will help a ton!

Hi there,

1) Yes this is a sidebar.

2) Yes. Custom child pages will be kept just as they are and still show up as tabs in your hubs. I’m not sure what you mean by setting them as defaults?

3) Install and run the converter. Here’s a screenshot of the converter page which explains what to do, before and after you run it.

Hello,

is there a way to test this theme on my own Server? I like it but i want to see the admin funktions!

Hi there,

As with most themes sold here we unfortunately do not provide the ability to test the theme before you purchase it. The main reason for this is a demo would be editable by all users and as a result some users would completely ruin the theme and the potential buyer would then get a completely skewed view of how the theme works. When a reliable theme demo plugin is available, there are plans to allow theme testing.

Hi, i open ticket yesterday. Usually after how long do you receive a response? Thank you

Hey, we respond to tickets within 24 hours Monday to Friday. Usually it’s much sooner.

Hey, this looks like an amazing theme. I’m already using a WP reviews theme for a reviews site I’m running but am looking to update the whole look as I need it to integrate with Woo Commerce (ideally). Does this theme play well with Woo or have in-built integration with that? If not are you planning for this in future? Looks so good, I’d love to use it! Thanks :)

Hey there,

The theme’s not been integrated with WooCommerce but it will definitely work with it. :)

Hello, thanks for replying so quickly. Oh wow! Do you mean we will need to customise a few templates to make sure it all works ok? Or we won’t need to make code changes? Getting quite excited by this :D Oh and we don’t want to use BuddyPress, I’m taking it the logins in the menu will all work on standard WP without BP? If so this is awesome, thankyou!

You don’t need to make any code changes – WooCommerce will work completely. I just mean that WooCommerce hasn’t been styled to look like the theme, so the default plugin styling will be used.

Nope you don’t need to use BuddyPress, the theme comes with it’s own frontend login, registration and lost password windows.

Hi, I was wondering, there’s any chance I can change the tab order in a Hub? I’d like to re-order it so the Review tab is the first one and not the second one, I couldn’t find any option to do that for now. Thanks in advance.

hi, presale question: is it possible for a nontechnical individual to add a paid course that accepts bitcoin and after payment releases access to the course?

Hi there,

The theme does not occur any features like this, you’ll need to find a plugin with this functionality.

Does this theme work with yoast SEO?

Schema tags work with the plugin? https://wordpress.org/plugins/schema/

Hi there,

Yes the theme works with Yoast SEO (I use it on the demo).

The theme already uses schema tags so I’m not sure if that plugin is necessary, but I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work.

This is one of the most beautiful themes I found in themeforest, you did a great job. Congratulations !

I have only one question: It’s possible change the colors of the top menu? Could you show me the way(After purchase, of course)?

Hi there,

You can change nearly all of the theme colours from the Theme Options page and for any you can’t you can CSS which I can certainly show you. All the header section is customisable for the Theme Options page.

Hello friends, Dear ghostpool team. I would like to ask you, if this theme support paginated post (in some nice graphic style) I am not sure, I do not see in the demo. Thank you for your opinion. BR, David

Hello, doest the theme has a shortcode to add multiple reviews results in a post?

Hey, tks for the prompt response time :) No, I need to create buying guide posts with multiple product which have their own review. So, what I need is to insert multiple existing reviews results ina new post. It is a common need nowadays. You can find an example of what I mean here: http://www.laptopmag.com/best-laptops Also, an example of a plugin that implement this feature here: https://demos.codetipi.com/letsreview/multiple-phones-review/

Yes you insert a list of reviews with their scores within posts using the Visual Composer page builder.

all right. thanks again

Hello! I use Gauge theme now. I don’t undestend, have Huber theme hubs categories?

Thanks, some more questions

Hub categories in Gauge theme converts in post categories in this theme?

Videos in header not have pause? Example. here: http://huberdemo.wpengine.com/demo-reviews/resident-evil-7-biohazard-review/

Yes hub categories and every else is converted in the new theme.

You easily add video controls or use the video in the header which comes with controls: http://huberdemo.wpengine.com/demo-reviews/pokemon-go-review/

Thank you very mucth

Hello. I have bought The Review theme long ago and i have many hub pages. If i buy this one which is now without child pages for hubs what will happen with all my pages reviews etc?

Hi there,

If you are already using Gauge or The Review themes you can use this theme without the worry of things not working. Huber comes with a theme converter that converts all your hub, reviews and child pages so everything looks pretty much like it did before. Please note hub awards are not currently supported.

Hi, Im thinking in buying your theme but I will need some extra customization, can you please give me a quote for extra customizations? Thanks

Hi there,

Please contact my developers at https://www.ourwebmedia.com/aff.php?aff=2 and they will be able to give you a quote for your work.

Hello friends. Regarding the theme translation, Do I understand well, that I need translate after each theme update? Or is there another solution. You will make the theme updates quite often, and it si very good, but do I really need to always translate it agin again again? Maybe, I didnt read the help file well. Can you please let me know? Thank you :)

Thank you very much. And the last questions, for the featured posts on the homepage, is possible to sort them by the most viewed. I can not find that

I’m looking into this for the next update. Please ask questions such as this on the support site from now at https://ghostpool.ticksy.com/

Perfect, that sound great. The most viewed could be filtered by the period not older than: week, month, year… :) And for the future, I would use the https://ghostpool.ticksy.com/ best regards, David

Ive got a problem. When creating post/pages the page doesnt seem to load correctly, Ive disabled plugins and found it to be the ‘huber plugin’ causing the issue. Can you help me out? This is what I get: https://i.gyazo.com/21e3a9a8b1fa1a84b9b7a0dfb3f24c36.png

Alright, Ive submitted and now awaiting. Id prefer the support sooner rather then later as I cannot go further without this. So far, Not a happy chappy.

Hey, I do understand your frustration. However we haven’t even determined if this is a theme issue yet, especially since nobody else has reported this problem (that’s always a good indicator that the theme is responsible). Also please note I don’t usually work on weekends. It does say I only offer support Monday to Friday. Everyone needs a break. ;) Anyway I’ve responded to your ticket.

If anyone else is having the same issue, Its a memory issue! :D

Hi GhostPool,

Another great theme! I am interested in migrating across from The Review – is it a relatively straightforward process?

I wondered on the review pages whether there was an option to keep a Summary rather than Good and Bad points? My real worry is losing any content in migrating across and having to manually ‘rescue’ the text we have there to move it into the main body – which will take time with 500+ reviews.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks, Alex

Hi there,

Huber doesn’t use display the summary currently, however I’ll look into adding this in a future update. If you run the converter you won’t lose the summary text, it’ll still be stored in the database as a custom field.

Thanks GhostPool – I have a separate query after running the converter, but will open a ticket rather than clog up the comments!

Can’t modify post, when I click ‘update’ button, nothing change. website:pj22.oneticket.ca

Hi there,

Please download the new theme update to fix this issue.

If you need any theme support in the future please open a support ticket at https://ghostpool.ticksy.com/

are you sure that downloading new updated version will fix this? It could be my mismanagement over database. Does it happen to anyone else? Thanks

There was an issue like you describe that was fixed in v1.1 and other users have confirmed this also. If you open a support ticket at https://ghostpool.ticksy.com/ and provide me with WordPress admin access I can look into your issue.
