Yes, I added OpenWeather API Key under Theme Options at Locale. My URL is telescaunvatradornei.ro and the city is Vatra Dornei (Suceava, RO). I inserted – lon – but now I see that is everything ok. Look: http://imgur.com/a/Qwp1u

The ‘Duplicator’ plugin doesn’t not work with the theme required LSVR Plugin. Please be aware.

I’d assume you’d be more than willing to make sure a 1million+ active installed plugin would work with your theme. I dont work for you, I click backup it hangs, that’s all the trouble shooting I should have to do. It didnt work. I paid for a theme and paid for support. I just wanted other people interested in download this software know how it interacts with other plugins. So they’re aware before purchase.
Well “I doesn’t work” doesn’t really tell me anything about the nature of the issue. It is a pretty standard thing to ask for more info so I can help you.
As you can see this theme has 1500+ purchases and very good rating, which obviously doesn’t mean it is bug free – no software is, but it means I do care about my customers and spending a minute browsing all comments will show that I always help. But I can’t read people’s minds, in some cases I just need more info than “it doesn’t work”, because there can be bazillion reason why it doesn’t work. But if you are ok with this state and don’t want to share more info for me to help you, then ok. I can issue you a refund if you are not satisfied.
Quick question. This morning I added a box in VC that displays an RSS feed. However, the box does not show up with the same styling as the rest of the site (white box). How can I fix this without messing up the style of the row that already works? My site is at www.scphousingauthority.com. Thanks.

that kind of styling is available only for custom VC elements. However, it can be achieved for this RSS element as well using this custom CSS:

Last issue… in mobile view the RSS box runs together with no space between it and the box in the next row. Is there a way to fix that?

One suggestion I have to boosting the search function to be better. It basically only searches pages and post titles. I know this sounds silly but a city site some people want to search a certain person who might run a department. If the search would allow a search for John Doe and there is a page with his name on it, bring that up in search also. City websites need to be fast in finding what people want seeing there usually is lots of information on them for different departments.
So my suggestion is a more granular search function. Thank you

unfortunately, search functionality is handled by WordPress. It is not something themes can and should manage (apart from some parameters and the visual side of it). That said, I am not really sure what is the issue. When there is a page or post with “John Doe” on the page, it definitely gets returned via search. Feel free to share an example when it does not behave the way you want on your site.

Hello! I am enjoying this theme, and the customizations available. My question is – if I want the menu headings to act as simply a means to drop the menu down for the sub headings, is it possible to do so without the main heading acting as a ‘link’ but rather just dropping to the submenu?
I have tried adding a custom link and linking with ’#’ but it still underlines the text and acts like a link, which may trick some people. And then with mobile, you must click on the little arrow to drop the menu but the menu itself still selects, which again may trick those who don’t know better!

guess I understand. You want to be able to click on parent menu item to show its submenu. Unfortunately, that would require some serious code customization and you will have to hire a freelancer for something like that.
Some people do want their parent links to be a real links so your proposed solution may work for your site, but it will break sites of others. Actually I don’t think there is an issue with it on desktops, however I get your point with mobile users. But the easiest and best fix for this in my opinion is just to make those arrows more prominent. For example by changing their background color like this:
.header-menu nav .submenu-toggle { background-color: #000000; }

1.) of course, images seen in the demo are not part of the theme anyway.
2.) “documents space” – not sure what you mean by that, but I guess you are talking about documents widget on the side? That of course can be disabled as it is a regular WP widget.

Hi great theme ….I have a question I saw that is possible to switch the menu from vertical felt or right side to horizontal in the header which i did, the problem is that the logo is showing both vertical and horizontal , in the home page option I enable header menu and in the themes option I deseble the Side Menu Position but still is showing in both position thanks for your help

So you didn’t meant logo but menu, right? You can disable side menu under Theme Options / Sidebar settings by setting “Side Menu Position” option to “Disable”.
“level of trasparence or % of blur”: there is no blur, I assume you mean opacity? That is not so simple to change, because each browser requires its own CSS definition for this. The best way to change it is to create your own custom color scheme. Definitions for that gradient can be found on line 465 in .scss file.
sorry …yes i ment menu and not logo…anywhay as i told y before the option disable in the Sidebar settings from the theme option is already Disable.but the menu as you can see is still showing in the right sidebar and for info custom right sidebar asn’t got any menu as widget…
Check the Page Setting / Sidebars of your front page and make sure “Side Menu Position” is disabled there as well.

Wondering if there is a way to change the size of the feature image (how it appears) on the home page for the most recent post. On your demo site for example the image of the soccer players. If I wanted the image to be taller and not so narrow in height, is there an easy way of doing this or do I have to delve into style sheets?

Coming back to working on this site after a couple years – great to see all the updates! We are trying to get comments working, but JUST for some Pages, not for general Posts. (and not for all pages) I’ve been poking at the settings and so far have been able to get them working the other way around – they are working for Posts, but not for Pages. Is this possible? Thanks!

I am checking out the code and it seems there is actually a bug with comments on pages. Comments will work only if Page Settings / Content / Boxed Content is set to something other than Single Box. I will fix that in the next update.

As you can see on www.blavand.dk/webcam the Banner ad on top of the webcam is inside the white box. Is there any way to put it outside the white box so that it can be bigger? Like the custom code in the widgets. Thanks!

check out Page Settings for that particular page. Under Content you can turn off boxing. However it will affect your webcam stream as well (but it is worth a try as it may still look good in this particular case).

Is there a way to place the Search Widget in the main content area on a page? I see the WP Search element that I can add through visual composer but it doesn’t have the same styling etc.

well, as you said. You can place it in the content but it will lack styling as that element is not really supposed to be used there. You can either hire a code who will style it for you or check out some 3rd party plugin which will allow you to put some nice styled search bar into the content.

I wrote the styles myself to get this working. I was just wondering if there was a class or two already made for this styling and I was already searching for an issue in the comments on here – just generally being lazy and looking for a quick solution. Thanks anyway.
You can take a look at styles of search bar from search results page. The code should be very similar to the search bar in search widget.
I have used TownPress for a local municipality and it has worked very well. I have another client that already has a theme they like but would like some of the features in the LSVR Toolkit. Is it possible to purchase it as a plug in?

unfortunately not. That plugin is meant to be used only with TownPress. I mean, technically you can use it with other themes as well, but it will require some additional coding to really make it useful.

1.) Check out the Featured image on those site with missing header BG. For example here. When I check the code of that page, it seems you’ve set a Featured image for it with some weird URL.
2.) you need to set the base page for each of the custom post types, title of that page will be sued for breadcrumbs. Please check out the documentation.
3.) Use this Custom CSS: .footer-top { background-color: rgba( 0, 0, 0, 0.9 ); } Change “0, 0, 0” to the RGB code of your desired color.

first of all great theme! i just have a small issue. i created a document (PDF uploaded) and set the password protection with a valid password. but when i include the document on a page, via text editor or the documents and click on it, there is no protection. everyone can open the document right away.
of course i tried it also with login out from admin panel, but still doesn’t work.
i’m a bit lost now, can you please support on this.

I am sorry but the theme doesn’t affect how the browser opens the PDF. It just uses the PDF’s URL, served by WordPress, and creates a link to it. It doesn’t modify the file itself. Just insert that file’s URL (http://demonicon.info/preview/dietersdorf/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Gruppe2017.pdf) into any page with, for example, Twenty seventeen theme activated and you will have the same result. Also, I can download that PDF to my computer and open it without it asking for password which proves that the issue is in the file itself.
