Hi, I created a footer (with a contact form) and I can’t change it anymore. If I remember well, you can change it from “appearance” < “personalize”. But when I clic on personalize there is a bug on the page and I can’t make the changes. I’ve tried it on fifferent browsers and on different days… Thanks a lot.

Hi, my gallery on the front page doesn’t work anymore like it should on the front page. When you open a website – “All” videos in the gallery should be loaded automaticaly, but now it doesnt work – you have to open it manualy. Here is my website – goo.gl/YeFSjW

Is your theme compatible with WordPress 4.8? When is the last time you updated the theme? You haven’t updated the change log inside the theme and (on this page under “compatible with”) it says it’s only updated to WordPress 4.7. I had no problems at all with this theme until WordPress updated and I lost all my widgets. To fix THAT problem I updated to your latest Mentas theme update. This is when I lost everything off my Gallery home page (I used your latest update).
You need to keep the change log updated so people know exactly what update they’re using. Also the Mentas download from Themeforest is different from the Mentas download from the Evanto plugin.
Not everyone asking questions here is stupid. I’ve read some people complain about how difficult it is to use this theme and I’d like to say I’ve used at least 25 different themes and this has got to be the most high maintenance theme I’ve ever used. I’m always running into problems with this theme and I don’t think I should have to pay for more support when you haven’t even updated to WordPress 4.8 yet.

A file “changelog.txt” inside theme is depricated, we will remove it from the theme in upcoming version. Ignore it.
Current version of the theme is 2.2.1 It is obtained only from one source from Themeforest if you download it directly or thru Envato plugin, it is the same.

WordPress 4.8 doesn’t affect to theme, so there is no need to update theme just because 4.8 is run. Our theme works fine with WordPress 4.8 as you might seen in our demo site.
Well I have no idea what the problem could be because I know everything is working on my end. I’ve changed servers, updated .php, installed a fresh version of WordPress, tried an older version of WordPress, tried an old database, tried an older AND latest version of your theme and I’m still not seeing my Gallery home page. I know I have the correct short code in my home page. Plus I’ve tried all kinds of different combinations. This theme worked fine before these updates.
You should have a Mentas forum we can go to so I can look up this problem by myself without paying for more support or opening a support ticket. I can fix this myself if someone would just point me in the right direction.
Have you heard of this problem before? I use the Gallery full size page as my home page. The filters are only working when you click on them. The home page is not loading for the first time.
Ok, I got it, you possibly using old shortcodes for gallery. We have already moved to visual composer more than a year ago. The only problem you can have with gallery.
Where do I find the Visual Composer plugin for Mentas? Does it come with the theme or do I have to buy it? I have an older copy in another theme. Can I use that one? Or is this a Visual Composer that is designed to work with Mentas?

so, nothing I do will allow me to upload the file into word press themes. It just gives me an error screen that says, “do you really want to do this?” and then nothing. Everyone is suggesting that it is easy to just plug these themes in but nothing could be further from the truth. I followed all of the instructions to the letter. Perhaps word press 4.8 will not work with your template. Please refund. I am incredibly frustrated.

the site will not upload to wordpress via fatcow hosting. I followed the zip instructions but no go. the site is useless if I cannot load it. I do notice the file says mac os and this is a pc. Would that be an issue? If I cannot get it to work I will reverse the charges in 2 days. thanks, Axel

Hi muelman81, this is known issue, it occure when you run under low php version. Please make sure PHP version on your server is at least 5.4. You can contact your hosting to upgrade it.

What’s the latest Mentas version? The one I’m downloading here off ThemeForest it says in the changelog it’s 1.0.8. Is there some other place we’re supposed to get it? Is that the very latest version?

Thanks. I just figured it out. I didn’t see the comments right above this you recommend to install the Evanto Toolkit Plugin. It seems I HAVE installed the latest version now (it fixed some issues) but inside the theme the changelog still says Version 1.0.8 – 15.03.2016. Just giving you a heads up.
Now that I have your attention I have a quick question. What’s the big difference between the Mental Gallery theme and this theme? I was thinking since I’m only using the Gallery anyway shouldn’t I just buy Mental Gallery and use that?

Now I have another problem, I’m just now finding out I lost everything on my Gallery home page when I updated the theme. All my filters work when I click on them but when it first loads for the home page nothing loads. I’ve tried everything. I have my home page as a static front page and I know I have the right short code in it. Is there an issue with the update not showing the gallery items when the home page loads? I even tried creating a new static home page and that didn’t work.
Also I don’t know if I can ask a question. Do I have to pay for support now? I don’t remember having to pay for support when I first bought this theme. I probably don’t need anyone to fix it for me I just need to know how to fix it or point me in the right direction.
Basically it’s not loading all my Gallery items when it loads the home page. But the filter seems to be working.

That plugin is not ours, it is Envato plugin. You can still update theme thru FTP

I have 2 questions : First I use on the home page, a picture carrousel for our clients logo. I have seen that on mobile device the responsive design doesn’t work, the pictures are compressed.

1. That is basicly because what you have used there, is not responsive. The columns are not been one after the other, to make it work properly.
2. That is a custom work to do it, we are afraid not something we can do easily. ou could try replace that element with Images of Visual Composer with a hover overlay.
Hello, the gallery on the home page doesn’t seem to work right. When you click on an image, it opens large but there is no way to see the rest of the project like it does on the gallery page. And there is also to way to navigate back other than the back button of the browser. Thanks in advance.
