1. On a listings page, e.g. http://lister.mikado-themes.com/job-category/gardener/ the first listing, Garden Assistance Team, links to /job/garden-assistance-team/ can I change where that links to so that it goes outbound e.g. gardenassist.com ?
2. I like the masonry layout you have, http://lister.mikado-themes.com/blog-masonry/ , it would be nice if I could display listings like that!
3. The Add Site form, can it be done as guest (no require registration)?
4. Can I disable Price from listing fields? So that it’s not shown in search and in add listing?
5. Can I edit the listings page template (don’t show filter by default, reduce amount of white space and labels, minimal just image, title, description & phone number?

1. That is not possible. Listing functionality is achieved with WP job manager plugin, and it doesn’t offer such functionality, but you should check if maybe they offer some extension for that purpose.
2. It is not possible to display listings in masonry layout, sorry.
3. Submitting listing require registration. It needs to be assigned to some user, and it is because of security of course.
4. If price isn’t set for the listing it won’t be displayed on front end.
5. This can be done with some minor css modifications, and if you decide to use our theme, you can contact our support regarding that by submitting a ticket at https://mikado.ticksy.com/

In this demo for example http://lister.mikado-themes.com/map-home/ , map with search is used, and listings are below. Since page is created by combining theme custom elements on a page, you can organize them differently, more to your liking. Unfortunately, there is no option for showing all listings and map with pins. This layout is present on search page only.

WooCommerce compatibility is coded according to plugin standards, so official plugin addons should work just fine but if you have planned to create vendors and to assign product to different listing, unfortunately that won’t be possible without modifications.
Site speed with Lister theme installed offer acceptable speed grades which mainly depends from server and hosting plan which is being used. From users side, speed can be greatly improved with some caching plugin, by using CDN service, and by enabling gzip compression, and for that we suggest testing on https://gtmetrix.com/ since they offer suggestions and working solutions for speed improvements.

Paid listings feature is available with additional addon – WooCommerce Paid Listings plugin https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/wc-paid-listings/ so it would be best to ask them directly, but as seen on screenshots in their documentation, you can use all currencies available by WooCommerce since plugin extends WooCommerce plugin functionality.

I can’t for the life of my see where to change the main menu hover background color. Currently it’s that green color when i hover over menu links. Where do I change this?

You can set menu colors from Mikado options > Header, but if you are using header skin for that page (from per page options usually) then predefined colors for that skin will be used. If you continue to have problems with this, please submit a ticket to our support at https://mikado.ticksy.com/ and provide WordPress admin access in your ticket.

Man, this theme is almost too packed with options. I want to set the header throughout the entire site (no matter what page you’re on) to have one color when you hover over the menu item. I currently have the FIXED header skin set to “Default”. But I’m still getting that default green color even though I’ve adjusted the “Hover/Active” color in the “Fixed Header” option to a new color.
I don’t want to have to adjust this for every page. What am I doing wrong?

There are also per page options for header type, and also for header skin so if options on a page are used then they will overwrite global ones from Mikado options. You can contact our support by submitting a ticket at https://mikado.ticksy.com and they will help you with configuration. Also provide WordPress admin access in your ticket so they can inspect options on your installation and to be able to tell you what was wrong.

I reached out and filed a support ticket. I want to NEVER change the header for individual pages. I just want to change the hover background color on menu items from the green color. It shouldn’t be this difficult.

Yes, you can update theme via FTP, and after update you need to uninstall current version of included plugins and then to install new versions from the message box which will appear. In latest Lister theme version we have updated Visual Composer to 5.2.1.
Beside manual update you can also try Envato market plugin https://forums.envato.com/t/envato-market-wordpress-plugin-beta/21639 for auto update

We are not familiar with that theme, so we don’t know what they are using, and we suggested you to contact WP job manager and to see with them if there is option in pro or some addon which allows this, or if they are planning it of the future, because Theme is using that plugin. We are not familiar with other themes and what they are using for similar functionalities.

I’m looking for a theme that will offer Auto Location, not sure of the name, this is where the visitors city automatically shows in the search box when the visitor arrives on the homepage.

Location drop down is controlled by Regions for WP job manager plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-job-manager-locations/ so it will just extend WP job manager functionality in a way that user will be able to add regions and to assign listing to that regions. Regions needs to be added manually, and plugin doesn’t contain all locations and zip codes, so even if you add all needed locations it will require some additional coding to achieve such functionality. Since these plugins are 3rd party plugins we are suggesting you to also contact authors of these plugins directly, and if they don’t have this planned at this time, maybe they will add feature in some future update or trough another addon.

is it possible to have it the opposite way. What I mean by that is the people can post listing for job request and supplier member only have access to these list to send quote.

Interesting thought. Theme wasn’t designed and coded with that in mind, but it is possible by changing some theme labels for example to have that wording “send quote” on each listing, and some predefined fields cannot be used or needs to be modified. Out of the box, theme isn’t quite capable for this, but with some changes it is possible.

I purchased the theme and installed the demo.
The homepage is working fine but the inside pages are all just showing up with the header and then a grey background where all the content should be.
Am I missing something?

If you didn’t activate required plugins before import so import of custom post types won’t be processed. Please try to activate all required plugins and then repeat demo import few times if needed.In case that import freezes, increase PHP directives like below or as far as they can go:
max_execution_time = 300;
memory_limit = 128M;
upload_max_filesize = 64M;
post_max_size = 256M;

1. & 2. You can create Custom Listing Packages with additional addon for WP Job Manager – WooCommerce Paid Listings and it needs to be purchased separately.
3 Plugin offers Feature Listing functionality but unfortunately it is not currently integrated in our listing element

6. It is not tested with our theme, but it is simply payment solution and you can use it for processing other payments, but note that it is not integrated as in theme payment option.

Hello. How can I make a relationship some attribute and field for some category like: if food and drink – display the kitchen and type of institution (bar, nightclub, or sushi bar),
if a car limit the choice only the brand of the car and display field for this category ( brand, type of engine, door and other features for car)?When choosing a car to display the model of the brand, if i choose a brand of car, show only model of this brand. If a real estate show fields – count of room, bath, year of build and condition. Etc..
it is like a ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) but how I can make relation of this types, categories and field and display in front end.

Our Lister theme is adopted to WP job manager plugin and this is mentioned in theme description on item page here on Theme Forest, so listing functionality is bound to plugin features, and extending this functionality further will require some custom coding.

Theme functionality is coded for Business Finder theme, and plugin is very powerful and there are different themes on Theme Forest which are offering different listing functionality. If there is no suitable addon for the plugin in order to have functionality which you are looking for then you will need to custom code it, sorry

Theme is using WP Job Manager Plugin for that part, so main functionality is listing jobs. Having recreation parks listed instead is possible but this will require modifications in both our theme and the plugin, so a lot of custom coding may be required depending on your needs.

We have integrated PayPal as a payment option so you’ll get all payment notifications via email, and payment history can be seen on PayPal account. We didn’t integrate invoice functionality separatly since PayPal have it’s own, so there is no point in repeating that part.

The price field can be removed and as for the full list of the listing you have the ability to have in the side a list of different listings this user has created and a link to the users page so you can see all its listings.
It will be automatically displayed on the listing page.
