Hi, and thanks again for this beautifull theme. I display in the homepage a row with 4 products from a category . (the visual composer “product category”), I need it to show the products from the category in a random order. I set the “order by” selection to “random”. It use to work fine before . but lately it doesn’t work any more. It shows only the same 4 products. any idea whay can that happen? was there any change ? thanks. Michal

Hello, after update to new version the sidebar it’s not visibile, if i select off canvas i don’t see the button and if i select on page the sidebar doesn’t appear. I don’t have support now….how can i resolve this problem? my mail is stabilocode@gmail.com

That doesn’t seems to be happening at this end and we would like to help you get to the bottom of this issues. You should go through the Troubleshooting Guide first and if that won’t help you get to the bottom of it, please reach out to the support team and provide a link to your site and a temporary admin username and password so we can look into it.

Hey Adrian, first off – I’m super happy with Shopkeeper. Just one thing I’m curious about after the last updates – did you’ve changed the checkout in any way? It doesn’t look like before with 2 cols (billing and stuff left and the oder review on the right) – it’s just plain one below the other. Everything else works super fine and like on your website. Do you have any ideas how to fix it?

We haven’t done any changes to the checkout page but it sounds like you are using the German Market plugin. We have included a few updates ago a few fixes for when this plugin is used. Many users requested a one column checkout page because of the German legislation.This might be the reason why you have one column checkout page. If you aren’t using this plugin then you should go through the Troubleshooting Guide first.

We can’t see nothing wrong with the page layout you provided in the link. It is true that a few updates ago we’ve added multiple page layouts and the one you’re showing us works just fine. You can change your product layout by navigating to Shopkeeper > Customize > Product page: https://www.screencast.com/t/1LLqhvTZR

Thank you very much for your answer. Product Layout V1 is used for a short while. When can Product Layout V2 ~ V4 be used now? It could normally be used to the front, so it’s a little very regrettable.

Regrettable news. Product Layout V1 was also broken. It isn’t ordinarily possible not to read and to use a picture until the end.

I am having issues with the shopkeeper theme and in particular the product page. It seems that the product page does not play well with almost any woocommerce plugins that are made for variable products. A huge disappointment that is so big that after three weeks of work I am thinking about dumping the theme and starting over. It will not allow for WooCommerce Additional Variation Images to work in with it. The theme comes with WooCommerce Dynamic Gallery LITE . This is only good for simple products to show a few shots of the product. but what to do about attaching images that go with a specific color? Without the ability to show different colors that are attached to each color swatch, I just look plain lazy and how much will this cost me in the end??? I have read that the problem was supposed to be addressed last year….But it seems not…I am not getting a response from support on this as of yet….Day 2 going into day 3…..Does anyone out there have a solution to this? Any solution will be greatly appreciated…Thx..

------- IMPORTANT WARNING – SHOPKEEPER THEME -------

UPDATING THE SHOPKEEPER THEME FAILS (CRITICAL ERROR). We have tried for more than one month.

Shopkeeper support blaim it on our host, One.com… and can/will not fix it. Of course the problem is not our host… then other plugins would fail also.

Now we got warning email from Google. They will block our site, because they have detected that we dont keep Shopkeeper updated (important for hacker and security).

We will post updates, and see if GetBowtied Support fix it, until then, we recommend that you DO NOT BUY themes from GetBowtied.

Our theme have always been active!

But the purchase date showing in Get Bowtied Tools is wrong, March 2nd, 2016. The date showing, may be for an other license, for an old site, no longer in use. We dont know.

We have tried to activate the NEW license many times, but its not possible. AND it is not possible to see or change license key manually, after the new Get Bowtied Tools was launched.

So what can we do?

Of course this is not a problem caused by our server host.

Adrian here this time. If you have more than a license and they’re all activated on one site or another, you’re being asked which one would you like to use and that’s where you make the choice. It doesn’t actually matter which license you’re activating as long as you have one active.

This is a site specific issue and our support team will do its best to help. There are several outdated plugins as well at your end and that shouldn’t be a reason for other users not to use our products :) As said, we’ll do our best to help and will get back to your over the support request / email.

I took over your support request as well. I’ve logged into your site and checked the setup and I’ve figured that there there seems to be something wrong with your copy of Shopkeeper. WordPress tells you that, check out this screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/dbHH2f2ip That can happen if the parent theme has been edited / custom coded in some way and the update can no longer overwrite a theme that no longer appears to be as Shopkeeper, technically speaking.

While I was at it, I made sure to get through all the pending updates to rule out any plugin conflict, but definitely that was not the case. I’ve update Visual Composer as well, which comes from the exact same place as the theme, so the license isn’t a problem.

Now considering that, my best advice is to temporarily enable a different theme, for example the default WordPress theme, make sure to delete the broken version of Shopkeeper from your server and simply install the latest version again. You can always grab it from https://themeforest.net/downloads

That would get you the latest version and it’s the way to make sure future updates will work properly. I would have done it myself but since this is a live website you should know when it’s the best time to do it.

Let us know how that goes by replying to your support request. The process shouldn’t break your site in any way, but still, it’s always best to have a backup right before updating.

No, there isn’t a pattern of such an issue. But to be safe, you can copy your custom code into a Notepad and is needed, once you update the theme you can add your custom code to your theme.

I’ve just bought and installed Shopkeeper v2.2 and am in the process of setting it up. While testing, I’ve noticed that the mobile menu (as well as the “collapsed widget area on mobiles” in the footer) are not functioning at all in Safari. By that I mean that when I click on them, nothing happens at all. No redirect. Nothing. It’s like the menus are not being triggered.

I’m testing in Mac Safari 9.1 on desktop and Safari on iOS 9.3.4. I do realize that these are not the most current versions of the browser or iOS however they are only a year old and surely should still be supported.

The menus do seem to be working in Chrome and Firefox.

Under “Compatible Browsers” in the Themeforest sidebar, Shopkeeper has Safari listed, however to double check that it was not just my setup, I went to the Themeforest demo site http://shopkeeper.wp-theme.design and it does not work in Safari/Mobile Safari either.

Hopefully this is a quick fix, however if not, I may have pursue a refund if the Shopkeeper navigation won’t work on iPhone! Please help!

Hi, Seems like Visual Composer Slider does not work on iPad, iPhone, Macbook. I added 3 slides, and only first one showing up. On Windows laptop works fine. Also not responsive on mobile devices, including tablet. It just cuts the images.

Hi the theme have affected the variations section of my products. I am now unable to select the variations like number of pcs and color option from some of my products. How do I fix it?

P.s. Choosing to display Categories & Subcategories does not display products at all!! Here’s what I did: on woocommerce page I went to product display<.strong> and chose: Shop page display – Show Categories & Default category display – Show Subcategories....no products appear…
