Hi, I am trying to setup multi-language – so far I have done the usual Joomla setup.
I have positioned the language switcher in the “topsearch-position”. However, I have some styling issues, as on homepage 2 with transparent menu, I cannot see the switcher, and styling is bad.
In the template description it says “Multi-languages Support.” Unfortunately I cannot find about it in the documentation.
In how far is FLEX already optimized for adding multi language?
Hi, can you pls. guide me through, how to setup the template as multilingual? I have done the Joomla part already, but now I need to integrate the language switcher into the template. Thanks.

Hi, looking for a new template to use mainly for easysocial and easyblog, how well does your template integrate, i know ill need to do a load of css for ES components to match but my current template is getting in the way and based on the old warp7 framework as opposed to helix.

Unfortunately, I cannot compare Helix3 and Warp7, when it comes to compatibility for easysocial and easyblog. “Compatibility” is not a proper word, because this is a matter of “styling”.
Flex (based on Helix3) doesn’t have styling for easysocial and easyblog, it has it’s won styling which is presented on our demo, so probably you will need to “adjust” CSS styling ror easysocial and easyblog. There are so many extensions out there, that it is impossible to track them all and have “prepared” styling for each.
If somebody is reading these comments and is using Flex with easysocial and easyblog, please drop a line or two how did you “style” them with Flex?

Hi thanks for replying i guess the better question would be, as i cant see the documentation, is the demo site created via standard modules or mainly page builder, if pagebuilder then a major component like easysocial is quite hard to integrate and style accordingly as its menu driven component mainly and normally cant be called within a pagebuilder environment. Flex is to be honest the smartest looking template going and would be nice to work with just weighing up the best options
aplikko, youu need to release something because your theme is not compatible with joomla 3.7.4. The accordion gets stuck,, a lot of java and json errors -that i see on my console. I’ve test it for functionality -with php7 and joomla 3.7.4 which looks good, but you cannot edit the pages with sp builder 2.4.7.

Flex is 100% compatible with Joomla 3.7.2, 3.7.3 and 3.7.4. Maybe you have some javascript conflict if you are using additional extension/module/plugin? Accordion Addon (for SP Page Builder) is working nicely with all Joomla 3.7.x versions.
Flex update is coming in a few days, with Joomla 3.7.4 and many other updates included.

Hi Craig, an update for Flex is coming soon. It is not only updating SPPB, but a lot of other improvements, fixes and also new features. So work on update is not yet finished, but it will come soon. Please, “stay tuned”.
Could be problem spinning wheel when you should do edit page front end with latest versions and if you upgrade..thats the only issue this template have had for me

There seems to be an issue in Google Chrome where the button in a “Call to Action” is just off of right alignment, so it leaves a large gap between the right side of the button and the inside right of the surrounding box.
Just throwing this out there, in case someone else has discovered the same issue, as I have to still renew my Support, as soon as I do though I’ll be writing to you.

Flex update is coming, but because of SPPB 2.4.8, but because of other new features and improvements. I believe that in a few days time, Joomshaper is going to release new SPPB, so we will wait also for this one.

Hello, is there any possible way to add a drop menu to the top2 position? Our client is looking to add a utility menu with a few menu items at the very top above the main nav menu which would have some submenu items. Or at the very least a horizontal menu?

Yes, we are preparing new Flex release, but I cannot promise it will be finished in a few weeks. Major changes are coming and many exiting new features to Flex.
As for latest SPPB (SP Page Builder), you cannot download or update latest SPPB (Pro) 2.4.8, but you can download 2.4.7 version, which is part of latest Flex package, from your download page on ThemeForest, in “Extensions” folder of your downloaded package.
I think I should also inform you, that for some strange reason, SPPB (SP Page Builder) authors included this “Warning message” into last SP Page Builder’s update (2.4.7). It was not the case with SPPB 2.4.6. You can see more at this page: https://www.joomshaper.com/blog/sp-page-builder-gets-new-language-management-improved-addons-in-v2-4-7.
I would recommend to you to simple ignore this for now. Remember, as Flex user, you don’t need to have license for SPPB. We payed “Extended license” for SPPB, and from the beginning (February 2016) it allows us to include it into template. We will negotiate with Joomshaper about this “licensing” politics, which has been changed recently, and it is not fair at all, for all customers that are using their Extended license. this policy makes impossible for older users (Flex users, that have already SPPB installed) to update SPPB.
So, we are waiting on Joomshaper’s for clearing this policy issue that they changed recently, and see from there what are the possibilities. Not promising though, because they don’t allow to distribute installable SPPB anymore, which was allowed before as a “required extensions”. Now they are allowing only to be included in Quickstart.
Use SPPB (2.4.7) while you can, because I don’t know what tomorrow is bringing. Maybe in next Flex update we will not have SPPB (installable zip) included, only in Quickstart?

You can add video background in SPPB (SP Page Builder) in any Row’s Settings, when you open modal. This is how we used background video on http://flex.aplikko.com/home/home-version-1 page .
