Hi, I have been having an issue with updating anything on the home page since yesterday. I tried multiple times to make tiny updates to content on the home page and each time the page crashed and would them proceed to show me fatal errors when I tried to reload it. I then had to restore the whole website to its last saved version, in order to fix the issue. This happened a number of times yesterday and today. Our webmaster ran a virus scan and there are no viruses, but one of the plugins is giving an error message:

I could not figure out a way to update LayerSlider from WordPress directly, but it does say it needs to be updated to its newest version. I believe this plugin came with the theme.

Hi, I updated Layer Slider and WordPress. I am still having an issue. When I go to update the home page, even if I don’t actually make any updates at all, but simply click on “Update” the page does not come back up and it keeps showing me an “Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in…” some line. Each time I reload, it’s a different line address and number. It seems the issue might be with the page builder. Can you please help me resolve this asap? Thanks.

Hi, the server requirements were updated. The issue persists. After some testing, we discovered that removing the testimonials slider from the home page resolved the issue. We tried using a different testimonials plug-in, but the issue persisted with it as well, so it doesn’t seem like the plug-in alone is creating it. We’re unable to figure out what is ultimately causing the Home page to keep crashing when being updated. I have sent you the FTP credentials, so you can take a look. Note that the testimonials slider is under the Testimonials section in the Home page. I really hope you can help with this. Thanks.

Hi Guys, I have been building my site using the priority page builder however I did a Word Press update and now I can no longer edit / save any of the content in any of the building blocks EG Any Content, Tabs Vertical, Image Switch etc. Anywhere that I have added content with the Priority page builder does not work. The box opens but it its blank and when you open it up so you cant see the content. The if you try push the save button ( not that you can save anything because you cant change the content) it just hangs?
Please advise any fixes for this problem as it is really holding me back on delivery.

Hi, I have followed the steps as per your video step by step for the alternative option of: In an alternate method you can just delete the “Designthemes Core Features” plugin and install it again from Dashboard > Appearance > Install Plugins. The issue has been resolved. It seems that you have disabled the Visual editor in your profile section, which caused the conflict in the page builder of our theme. For now we have enabled the Visual editor and the issue has been resolved. We will fix this issue in our next version.

Thank you for sorting out that issue I have another 2 questions:
Question 1. When changing the colours in the theme under general there are two options for changing the Skin Colour – The first on is the first Tab called “Theme Skin Colour” this tab changes the colours but only has predefined coulours none of which suit my site. There is another option Called “Theme Fifth Colour” – Pick a theme fifth main color. This will be used in place of skin default color. However when using this tab it does not change anything on the theme. Please advise why not? From what I can tell this option should override the Skin Colour chosen in the first Tab “Skin Colour”
Question 2. How do I get rid of the spinning dots that always come up between pages when changing pages on the site? It makes the site slow and clumsy.

Another Question – This theme is incredibly slow. I have taken actions to get rid of all unwanted plugins, deleted all unused media, I am running Smush It and SEO, and Cache and still it is very slow. Any idea on how I can get it faster?
