Plugin Visual baker not working with this theme, because a lot is out dated. When is the new update ?
The demo is also not working correct, click on photos on album doesn’t do anything

There is an issue on WordPress 4.9, it wont let me add portfolio element with Visual Composer, it open the modal window and just hangs with the spinner spinning and doesn’t display any settings. I have tried this on 3 different websites on different servers

we no longer have support for this we are now using The7, but we still have several websites running Armada, and all of the sites we have updated to WP 4.9 have issues with the VisualComposer Armada elements like portfolio/blog. I have purchased a newer version of Visual composer to see if that fixes it and it doesn’t.
From other comments and the fact that the last update was 7th July (wasn’t that the time the dinosaurs walked the planet?) It does look like Armada has been left in the cold, and The7 is getting all your attention, but please please please can you do an update to fix these issues for us loyal customers that have purchased many themes from you:)
I just bought this theme, but it doesn’t support Wordpress 4.9 which GoDaddy has just updated to… What do I do to use this?
Don’t buy this theme! It has broken links to the documentation, outdated and unworkable plugins, and I was never able to get it functioning. Over two weeks I contacted support multiple times and always ended up frustrated, and without a working theme!
Also, take careful note that all of the good reviews are from 3 years ago. You do the math.
I asked for a refund and they flat out refused!
Better yet, don’t purchase anything from these guys. They are unresponsive, and unapologetic about their dysfunctional themes. In fact, at one point I was told this theme was no longer supported!! WTF?

Our support engineer may have advised you to get in touch with Envato and ask to exchange the Armada to The7 (because latter gets more features and updates). But there’s no talk about discontinuing the Armada..

Is there still problems with Armada and visual composer 5.2 and newer? I have tried different versions but the only one that works is version 5.1. Site is on php 7.1 btw.

I just want to say that a single xml file import problem is a variety of mistakes wasted my time or a lot of time to solve the problem is really sad, even if the theme is a bit old but there should be some users and I still like this theme So I hope the official solution as soon as possible xml file import problems can not be successfully imported xml demo data how can we happy to use armada theme

Just a note to everyone that the dummy content XML file contains thousands of references to armada.dream-demo.com. This domain is dead so none of the media images will download, so you will need to find-and-replace all of those URLs to armada.dream-theme.com

Theme description and readme file that goes with dummy content XML clearly state that images are copyrighted and should never be imported.
`That isn’t quite what it says 
It says “Ideally you must refuse importing media files during content installation” which isn’t the same thing at all as “should never be imported”.
Furthermore I’ve been importing the demo for this theme for literally years, and until recently the images always imported fine. It’s only recently you changed this behaviour.
I don’t use the images on a live website, but it is useful to have them (and not broken image links which break layout) for internal demonstration purposes.

There are no built-in tools for that – you can use whatever proofing plugins you like.
But the only thing that really works is “watermarking” your images. All other methods can be bypassed.

Hi I’ve been using this theme for a while and I’m trying now to display some portfolios using the Portfolio Scroller element, but they don’t appear correctly. Instead of displaying the portfolio featured image, the items in the scroller appear with the site’s logo as the photo.
Why does this happen? Shouldn’t the featured image be appearing?

Good day, I have recently had a problem with my theme, where I cannot use any functions of Armada (After VS was updated). It gave an error 500. It cannot locate “admin-ajax.php” I’ve contacted support, who responded after every 3 days or so. (keep in mind that Armada and its functions is a vital part of my website, and that my site is at this stage just a decent layout design).
After several weeks of back and forth, I still have not found or was offered a solution. And was last told that Support cannot help due to lack in knowledge of google cloud (my server). The problem has been going on for over 2 weeks.
In this thread I see that there are multiple users with the same problem (Error500)

Will do. Btw, the theme doesen’t work with visual composer 5.2, keeps getting a HTTP 500 server error. Version 5.1.1 works though.

Host is running PHP 5.6 on the server, does that mean the newest version of VC won’t work?

Yes, I’m helping a friend with his site, he bought the armada theme because I recomended it to him, because I have bought the7 theme from you and is a happy customer. With that, I can ask the same question on the the7 comment section where I do have the “purchased” label, since the themes are somewhat similar I guess the answer to my question above would be similar too?
