Hi, something is wrong with the includet “visual composer” ... cant use it properly cause it generates errors and the console tells me: TypeError: c is null -> load-scripts.php:822:4843
Its a new installation of wordpress, database ant your theme “Ivery”. Everything is up to date. I need a solution pls.
kind regards tomas
Sounds like there is a script conflict on your site. If you have other plugins installed, try to deactivate them to see if it works.
If it still doesn’t work, please provide me your WordPress admin login details. You can send a private message in the contact form: https://themeforest.net/user/wyde#contact
there is no 3rd party plugin installes. only the plugins that comes with the theme. i send u a pn.
Thank you for your site credentials!
I guess that you’re using Firefox because I just tried to edit a page on your site with Chrome. It seems to work fine on end. However, there is a bug of Visual Composer with WordPress 4.9 on the new update of Firefox. This issue has been fixed in the latest update of Visual Composer, we will add it to the next update of the theme.
In the meanwhile, we would recommend you to use Chrome to work around this issue.
woow … i would never expect that! I tried chrome and it works
Thank u really much! Great Support! Keep on
Hi.. I am trying to import demo content but media and setting are not responding. Please help. :cry:
website rjrao.online
Please ensure that you’ve increased the PHP configuration limits to the minimum as we provided in our documentation.
The easiest way to check the current settings is using the PHP Settings plugin.
Once you’ve increased the PHP limits, if other content types have been imported complete successfully, you don’t need to import them again but select only Media and Settings to import.
If it still doesn’t work, you can provide me your WordPress admin login details so I can take a better look. You can send a private message in the contact form: https://themeforest.net/user/wyde#contact
I have just sent you the private message. Please check. Thanks for your support
Thank you for your email!
You’re using the old version of PHP (5.4). The minimum version for this theme and all bundled plugins is 5.6.
However, the recommended version for WordPress and WooCommerce is PHP 7.0 or greater as you can see in WordPress system requirements: https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
You will need to upgrade your server PHP first, this to make sure your site will be compatible with WordPress and other plugins. And then you will need to increase the PHP settings to the minimum as we provided in the Import Demo Content section in our documentation.
max_execution_time = 300 memory_limit = 128M post_max_size = 32M upload_max_filesize = 32M max_input_vars = 5000
Thank you so much Wyde team. It is working.
You’re welcome
Hi! How to insert “Footer bar” in home page (www.polocriativo.com.br/2018)? This footer bar only show in internal pages (www.polocriativo.com.br/2018/?page_id=15542)
Thanks!
Hi,
Looks like you’ve disabled the Footer Bar on your home page. You will need to edit your home page, scroll down to the Ivery Options at the bottom of the page edit screen. Select the Footer tab and then change the Footer Bar to “Show”.
I am using this theme for rjrao.online. now I want to move this theme from rjrao.online to rjrao.com. Is this possible with this theme?
It is not related to the theme but your WordPress site. You will need to change the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) in Settings -> General to the new one. You can find more details here: http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-update-urls-when-moving-your-wordpress-site/
Hi i love this theme and I buy it a week ago… but i have some problem with the slider hero… how can i change it ? there is some manual or tutorial to healping me to personalize this theme ?
thanks
You can edit or add new slider in the Slider Revolution screen on your WordPress admin. Here’s the documentation of the Slider Revolution plugin: https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-revolution-documentation/
This theme comes with Visual Composer plugin, you can build your page content by using the page builder in the Backend Editor.
Also, after you import demo content, you will receive all pages and posts that look exactly like our demo. You can easily edit them by using the page builder, you can also personalize the theme in the Theme Options panel.
You can find more details in our documentation that’s included in the main download package.
hi again i saw a problem displaying portfolio and some other…1) when i saw portfolio page some times seems to duplicate the works and repeat them and from work pages samples when i click on the home button doesn’t load the slider in the homepage…
I’ve never seen this issue before. There may be a plugin conflict on your site. If you have other plugins installed, try to deactivate them to see if it works.
If it doesn’t work, please provide me your site URL so I can take a better look.
Hi, I buy this Ivery theme but single portfolio page doesn’t work.
Thanks!
There is a PHP error on that page. I think that your server is running on the old version of PHP. The minimum version that is compatible with this theme is PHP 5.6.
However, the recommended version of PHP for WordPress is 7.0 or greater, as you can see in WordPress system requirements: https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
You will need to upgrade your server PHP to make sure it will be compatible with the theme and other plugins.
What is the best way you recommend for installing new fonts?
All Google Fonts are included in the Theme Options -> Typography. If some fonts are not available there, you can enable automatic update for the Google Fonts by following the instructions in our documentation.
However, if you’d like to add custom fonts from other sources or from your self hosted. You will need to add them manually via custom CSS in your child theme.
1. Install and activate ivery-child-theme.zip.
2. Upload font files to your child theme folder "wp-content/themes/ivery-child-theme/fonts/".
3. Add custom CSS to style.css in your child theme as below:
/* Definition */
@font-face {
font-family: 'your-font-name';
src:url('fonts/your-font-name.eot');
src:url('fonts/your-font-name.eot') format('embedded-opentype'),
url('fonts/your-font-name.woff') format('woff'),
url('fonts/your-font-name.ttf') format('truetype'),
url('fonts/your-font-name.svg') format('svg');
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
}
/* Use */
body,
h2,
h3,
h4,
h5,
h6 {
font-family: 'your-font-name', Arial, sans-serif;
}
You can find more details on how to add custom fonts here:
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-add-custom-fonts-in-wordpress/
Hello, I want to send the PSD files of the template to the email of anthony.anca@masco.pe. Thank you.
Hello,
The PSD files are included the main download package. Go to the Downloads tab on ThemeForest. Choose “All files & documentation”, and then extract that zip file you will find the PSD files inside there.
i, I have a problem when a activate the extension: Wyde Core. The page is loading … to the infinite…. And nothing else happened
Thank you for helping me resolve this problem
There is an invalid HTML tag in your blog post title that breaks the page layout. I just sent you a screenshot to your email directly. You can easily fix this issue by removing that code from your blog post title. You can see more details in your email.
Hi!
I installed the theme and imported the first demo. It works perfectly, except the home page slider, it doesn’t appear and I don’t understand why. In the “Slider Revolution” section, I see the slider, I can edit it and it works in the preview. But it doesn’t appear on the homepage. Sorry to bother you… thanks for you time.
Try to import sliders again to see if it works. Go to Theme Options -> Home, select only Sliders option and then choose a demo to import sliders that are included in that demo.
However, when you choose a demo such as Main Demo, it will import only sliders in the Main Demo. If you’d like to import sliders from other demos (e.g. Demo 2, Demo 3) you will need to do the same thing for those demos one by one.
I found the problem! There was a plugin conflict. I fixed it.
Glad to hear that it has been resolved
Hello, I have a question. I noticed the images in the demo are all of the same size. The images viewer supports pictures with different sizes? Does it maintain aspect ratio? Thanks.
Hello,
If you’re talking about a portfolio grid like the links below:
https://wydethemes.com/ivery/portfolio/portfolio-grid-3-columns/ https://wydethemes.com/ivery/portfolio/portfolio-masonry-1/It always displays the images in squared sizes. That means it doesn’t keep the original aspect ratio of your images. You can upload images in any sizes but they will be cropped into squared thumbnails to fit perfectly in the grid layout.
Anyway, if you’d like to display the images with the original aspect ratio as uploaded, you will need to add them by using a Image Gallery element instead, as you can see on this page: https://wydethemes.com/ivery/elements/image-gallery/ So you can choose the original size to display.
Hi, thanks for your answer. I mean the image viewer that appears when you click on an image: https://i.gyazo.com/8379ccfc112825e239fa5a20e276dbb7.png If I have some vertical images, would they be displayed correctly?
(The portfolio grid with images cropped in squared size is fine for me!)
Thanks, and sorry my poor english
My apology! I thought that it is a portfolio images.
Sure, the lightbox (image viewer) displays full size of the image with the original aspect ratio as uploaded. So it can display different sizes and maintain aspect ratio.
Great! Thank you very much!
i have sent email before one week, also i want to know the portfolio items i want to arrange what is going be the first one and what item is going to be to the bottom , old..can you tell me how please?
By default, all posts, pages and custom post types including portfolio posts are ordered by publish date (post_date) in descending order (DESC). If you’d like to change the order, you will need to add custom function to your child theme. You can find more details in an email that I just sent to you.
i havent receice anything until now, thanks
I have replied all emails to your email address you registered on Envato. Try to check the junk mail.
hi i checked emails nothing found, can you please resend them…from envato i receive normal
I just sent it again!
Just so you know, when you contact us from the contact form on the profile page: https://themeforest.net/user/wyde#contact It will send your message directly to our email so when we will reply from our Gmail to your email address directly, it’s not from Envato email system.
If you haven’t received any emails from us. You should contact us from the comments page instead: https://themeforest.net/item/ivery-creative-portfolio-cv-wordpress-theme/20365665/comments so you will find the answers in the comments instead of from emails.
Anyway, here’s our latest answer regarding the portfolio category archive page:
By default, all posts, pages and custom post types including portfolio posts are ordered by publish date (post_date) in descending order (DESC).
If you'd like to change the order on the category archive page, try the step by step guide below:
1. Make sure you have aoraki-child-theme.zip installed and activated.
2. Go to Appearance -> Editor to edit Aoraki Child theme.
3. Add the custom function below to Theme Functions (functions.php):
function aoraki_portfolio_archive_order( $orderby ) {
global $wpdb;
// Check if the query is for an archive
if ( is_archive() && get_query_var('post_type') == 'wyde_portfolio' ) {
// Query was for archive, then set order
return "$wpdb->posts.post_title ASC";
}
return $orderby;
}
add_filter( 'posts_orderby' , 'aoraki_portfolio_archive_order' );
4. You can change the post field from post_title to others if you'd like, see more fields here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Post
hi, on mobile my video-slide does not work:
“mobile youtube api could not be loaded”
Unfortunately, the video slide won’t play automatically on mobile since mobile devices don’t allow this, as you can see here: https://www.themepunch.com/faq/video-not-showing-up-on-mobile/
We would recommend you to set a background image or a cover image to display instead of a video on mobile.
hello^^
my background video not work!
im using a youtube url…
I just tried it on our demo site and it’s working fine. However, the video background won’t work on mobile because a video couldn’t be played automatically on mobile by default. We would recommend you to set the background image too so it will show up on mobile instead of a video.
Anyway, if it doesn’t work either on desktop, please provide me your page URL. It would be easier if I can inspect your site with the developer tools. If you’d like you can send it in the contact form: https://themeforest.net/user/wyde#contact
so…
this problem is not in your demo
the background video is ok in I.E., but, not showing in FF e GC.
email sent !
Thank you for your site URL! I’ve tried it with both Firefox and Chrome and they work fine. You can see the screenshots in your email.
First, congrats on this project. It’s gorgeous. I have one question. I’m trying to put everything on the main page. So, I want to make a video popup once I click on a portfolio post, instead of going to the portfolio post page. Is it possible to do? Thanks in advance
Thank you for your nice comments!
You will need to edit the portfolio template in your child theme as below:
1. Make sure you’ve installed and activated ivery-child-theme.zip.
2. Open a File Manager on your web server to copy the portfolio template file from the Ivery theme to your child theme. For example: If you’d like to edit the grid/grid w/ space template, you have to copy the file:"wp-content/themes/ivery/templates/portfolio/content.php"to
"wp-content/themes/ivery-child-theme/templates/portfolio/content.php".3. Edit that file in your child theme and replace the whole code with the new one below:
<figure>
<?php
if( !$image_size ) $image_size = 'ivery-large';
$embed_url = esc_url( get_post_meta( get_the_ID(), '_w_embed_url', true ) );
$cover_id = get_post_thumbnail_id( get_the_ID() );
$lightbox_url = '';
if( !empty( $embed_url ) ){
$lightbox_url = ivery_get_media_preview( $embed_url );
}else{
$full_image = wp_get_attachment_image_src( $cover_id, ivery_get_option('portfolio_single_lightbox_size') );
if( isset($full_image[0]) ){
$lightbox_url = $full_image[0];
}
}
if( $cover_id ){
echo wp_get_attachment_image($cover_id, $image_size, false, array('class' => 'cover-image'));
}else{
$cover_image = ivery_get_option('portfolio_placeholder_image');
if( !empty($cover_image) ) echo '<img src="'. esc_url( $cover_image['url'] ) .'" alt="'. esc_attr( get_the_title() ) .'" />';
}
?>
<a href="<?php echo esc_url( $lightbox_url ); ?>" data-rel="prettyPhoto[portfolio]" title="<?php esc_attr( get_the_title() ) ?>"></a>
<figcaption>
<?php ivery_portfolio_title(); ?>
<p><?php echo ivery_get_portfolio_categories(); ?></p>
</figcaption>
</figure>
Wyde. I did what you told. But how and where I set the video url to be opened in the lightbox?
You can put a video URL in the Media URL field in the portfolio edit screen.
I did what you told. Create the thread /ivery-child-theme/templates/portfolio and put the edited content.php in there. But still doesn’t work, as you can see https://novo.bohocine.com.br/. What might be wrong?
I’m sorry but I couldn’t access your site. It says “This site can’t be reached”.
Anyway, that instructions I provided is only for the Grid and Gallery layout. If you’re using a Masonry layout, you will need to edit the file “content-masonry.php” instead.
Oh, I see. Now I edited the file “content-masonry.php”, but I got this: https://imgur.com/a/Sag4t
I’m not sure about the code you’ve put on that file but the masonry layout is different from the grid so you couldn’t use the code I provided on the masonry.
Try the code below to see if it works:
<figure>
<?php
if( !$image_size ) $image_size = 'ivery-xlarge';
$embed_url = esc_url( get_post_meta( get_the_ID(), '_w_embed_url', true ) );
$cover_id = get_post_thumbnail_id( get_the_ID() );
$cover_image = '';
$cover_image_url = '';
$lightbox_url = '';
if( !empty( $embed_url ) ){
$lightbox_url = ivery_get_media_preview( $embed_url );
}else{
$full_image = wp_get_attachment_image_src( $cover_id, ivery_get_option('portfolio_single_lightbox_size') );
if( isset($full_image[0]) ){
$lightbox_url = $full_image[0];
}
}
$cover_image = wp_get_attachment_image_src( $cover_id, $image_size );
if( is_array($cover_image) && isset($cover_image[0]) ){
$cover_image_url = $cover_image[0];
}else{
$cover_image = ivery_get_option('portfolio_placeholder_image');
$cover_image_url = $cover_image['url'];
}
if( $cover_image_url ){
echo "<div class="\"cover-image\"" style="\"background-image:url('"." esc_url="" .="" />";
}
if($cover_id){
echo wp_get_attachment_image($cover_id, $image_size, false, array('class' => 'cover-image'));
}elseif( !empty($cover_image_url) ){
echo sprintf('<img src="%s" alt="%s" class="cover-image" />', esc_url($cover_image_url), get_the_title() );
}
?>
<a href="<?php echo esc_url( $lightbox_url ); ?>" data-rel="prettyPhoto[portfolio]" title="<?php esc_attr( get_the_title() ) ?>"></a>
<figcaption>
<?php ivery_portfolio_title(); ?>
<p><?php echo ivery_get_portfolio_categories(); ?></p>
</figcaption>
</figure>
However, I would recommend you to use the videos from major video sites such as YouTube and Vimeo to make sure it will work properly with the prettyPhoto lightbox.
Now, the looks are ok, but the content isn’t clickable, so it doesn’t work. (I’m linking to YouTube and Vimeo)
Also, the hover effect doesn’t work anymore.
I’ve tried it before providing that code and it works fine on my site. It would be easier if I can inspect your site with the developer tools to find why it doesn’t work. Could you please let me access your website? The one you provided above couldn’t be reached. Make sure it allows visitors from external networks or different countries.
Thank you for your site credentials!
I just inspected the code on your site. Actually you put the wrong code so it doesn’t work as it should be.
When you contact us from the comments page or support page. You will need to click on the link in your email to see the full reply and full code I provided in the comments page. Please do not copy the code from your email directly, it contains some special tags such as < pre >. I just sent you the correct code to your email directly and you can find more details there.
hi i want to ask if i change the slug in portoflio from portfolio-item to anything else doesnt find the the page…
Try to update the permalink settings to see if it works.
Go to Settings -> Permalinks, select “Post name” and then save changes.
Also, make sure you don’t have a page with the same slug as the portfolio. For example: If you set the portfolio slug to “portfolio”, you couldn’t set the page URL to “portfolio”.
i try everything and only works with portfolio-item
I just tried it on our demo site and everything is working fine. Could you please provide me your site URL and admin login credentials? You can send them in the contact form: https://themeforest.net/user/wyde#contact
How can I change the text on portfolio 5 page from client to something else??
You can add Custom Description section instead of the Client Information section.
On the portfolio edit screen, set all fields in the Client Information section to blank and then add the content to the Custom Description section below.
Awesome thank you, one more question…I’m having some issues getting the portfolio grid to line up evenly. Do you have any advice? Also the visual composer doesn’t allow me to do the front end editing, any idea why?
By default, portfolio grid displays the large size of images (640×640px). Make sure your portfolio featured images are larger that size (both width and height) so they will be cropped properly into squared thumbnails. Anyway, you can choose the size of images in the portfolio grid settings window to make sure the image will fit perfectly in the content area.
Also, this theme comes with custom content elements and they do not support front end editor so the front end editor is disabled by default as stated on the theme features: https://themeforest.net/item/ivery-creative-portfolio-cv-wordpress-theme/20365665#item-description__theme-features
We would recommend you to use the back end editor instead. It’s really faster than the front end.
Okay thank you. Great theme!
Hello, my best compliments for your template, I am very happy to have bought it!
I contact you because I can’t display this page correctly: https://giuliogolinelli.eu/portfolio/As you see, it does not display the portfolio in four columns but only in three columns. instead, from your site the same page is displayed correctly: https://wydethemes.com/ivery/portfolio/portfolio-grid-full-width-4-column/
Can you help me?
Thanks in advance
Giulio Golinelli
Thanks for your fast reply, wich browser do you used to wiew my site?
Have a good day Giulio
Hello,
the problem is solved, it’s my browser that has some problem, with firefox working correctly.
But I have another question for you:
In the portfolio, the featured image is also shown in the gallery, is the first image
There’s a way to cut from the gallery:
https://giuliogolinelli.eu/portfolio-item/bob-rock/
have a good day
Giulio
Sorry for the delayed response!
Of course you can hide the featured image from the portfolio single post. Go to Theme Options -> Portfolio -> Portfolio Single Post, and then turn off the “Display Featured Image” option.
Hope this helps!
Many thanks!!!
I’m having some issues with the plugins which were prepackaged with Ivery:
Warning: require_once(/home/jagaines1/public_html/jagainesgraphics.com/wp-content/plugins/revslider/includes/operations.class.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/jagaines1/public_html/jagainesgraphics.com/wp-content/plugins/revslider/revslider.php on line 69

Sounds like the Slider Revolution plugin couldn’t be installed complete successfully. Try to delete it from your Plugins page first. Once you delete it, you will see a notification message to install it again.
If you couldn’t delete or install it from your WordPress admin page, you would install it via FTP or cPanel File Manager instead. You will find the file revslider.zip inside the theme folder “ivery/inc/plugins/revslider.zip”. Upload it to your WordPress installation directory “wp-content/plugins” on your webserver. And then extact the zip file there.
