1) Yes, All ready to use landing pages are example pages, You can load that demo pages from backup/restore pop-up.

You can find demo tab beside backup/restore tab. Currently, we added few demo landing pages to load in builder, And we will add all our demo restore to builder very soon.

3) Unfortunately, you cannot use older builder backup files in new builder. New builder store demo inside builder itself, No needs to upload restore files in new builder.
