I’m having trouble making my products show up. My products don’t display when I put the settings under “Show categories” and “Show subcategories”. However, when I set the display to “Show categories and products” and “Show subcategories and products” my products can be seen. How do I fix this, because I would much rather have the category and subcategory grids show before getting to the products.

The problem is within your theme. If you check the demo, you can replicate the issue
Hi there. Im interested in adding inline images to the mega-menu. Can this be done or should I use a different menu. There also seems to be a limited number of columns, perhaps three like in the demo? I want to have perhaps 8 thumnails running along that just wrap as the browser window gets narrower, can this be done.
Last question, sorry, why are all fonts set in pixels and not e.g. ems? Is there a global font size change somewhere?
Thanks

The different Header types doesn’t work: always when i choose the type with the logo in the middle and nav splitted, the nav doesn’t show up. Do i have to activate everything else?
Hi @pecasco,
To have a centered logo and a left and right menu, you need to built two new menus. One will show on the left and one will show on the right. After you created these two, make sure you choose for each one the option marked with red. http://screencast.com/t/ewLWpr9yL0sx

Pre-Sale questions.
I’d like to use this theme for an affiliate site. Instead of a shopping cart, I want to be able to compare items and be able to provide affiliate links directly to the products on the grid layout. Is this possible with your theme?
Is it possible to filter regular posts with the filter you have for products?
Thanks.
Hello @azwick2,
Alexandra here
Happy to be talking to you today!
Yes, you’re being able to create extenal links instead of the Add to Cart button, not sure what you mean by comparing, assuming having more than a single affiliate link to a product, it that’s the case, I am positive you’ll be able to find a plugin for that. However, not sure if they would show all the links in the shop archive directly. Anyways, you should be looking into plugins for such functionality no matter which WooCommerce theme you’re going to choose.
About posts, posts are organized into categories and they work differently than shop filters, not sure what are you trying to achieve with this one.
Cheers, Alexandra
Hi Alexandra,
Thanks for your reply. Sorry for the confusion, I’m still new to Wordpress. My old theme replaced the shopping cart with a compare button. I found a solution for that, so don’t worry about that question.
Just to be clear. Even without a shopping cart button, I won’t have any trouble with just external affiliate products in Woocommerce, correct?
I’m going to be selling food. The products are going to be Woocommerce External Affiliate Products. But I also want to make a separate section for recipes placed in posts. I really love the setup of your Woocommerce filter, and I’d like to adapt it for recipes as well.
Is that something that could be easily programmed in by a third party to work on posts? Also, is the filter ajaxed?
Thanks.
The built-in WooCommerce filters are not AJAX natively, you should be able to find a plugin for that. You can have a sidebar for the blog as well if you plan to use it for the recipes, but those are categories, won’t work like filters and I am not aware about a routine to help you get there with it. But I don’t think it’s impossible, you should be able to find a plugin or someone up for the task to customize it for your needs.

Just wondering – why there is so much white space in product view, below menu? Seems like a waste of space.

Ok, so I updated the theme again and it totally blew out my site, navigation is missing, colors are off?? Please help?
Thanks,
Hi Grinch,
The actual theme update shouldn’t blew up a website because that’s not it’s purpose. Please make sure you’re not using custom code or plugins that might affect your website functionality. Also you should be using the newest versions of Wordpress, WooCommerce and Visual Composer. Clearing your cache might also help.

Hi, Nice theme!
I’ve a pre-purchase question.
I saw from your reply to other users regarding the RTL support, that “Shopkeeper was built to work in RTL”.
Could you please be more concise & confirm whether the theme is RTL 100% ready and supported 100% or not?
Thank you.
Hi there,
This theme was built to be RTL compatible and we always include fixes when needed. There might be small styles incompatibilities but if you find some, you can open a support request and report them.

I am missing a homepage where on top there is a search engine or let me put it this way…...the main feature of my shop is a search engine…...can you make a demo with search on top.
Hi @BusinessNL
The theme does come with a search feature for products in Header: https://www.screencast.com/t/MFQPcpq5Bzuo You can enable the option in Shopkeeper > Customize > Header > Header elements: https://www.screencast.com/t/kcoenxR7Z0 If you want a search option added directly to your homepage, then you can look for a plugin with this option.
Cheers, Alexandra
Thanks but i mean something different. check this site please > https://kleding.nl and you see what i mean
I can see what you mean
You can look for a plugin with this option.
That is no option. I can buy your theme and let a developer css it for me.Thanks
Hi. I’ve been using the theme for a long time but I’m having trouble with the image display on the website. The images seem blur when the mouse hover over on the catalog page and also blur on the product page. I tried to fix it by uploading larger pictures but it seems to get become more fuzzy even though I’m using a larger picture. The crop dimensions in your theme indicates 570×708px and I’m using pictures larger than this. It doesn’t make sense to use actual sized pictures (570×708px) since I’ve noticed your live demo uses a large picture like 824×1048 etc..
The photos are shot professionally at a studio.
Is this a theme issue? How can i fix this?
Hello @tkmr,
I suggest you take a look at this article and if needed increase the values in here: https://shopkeeper.wp-theme.help/hc/en-us/articles/207365195-Shop-Product-Image-Sizes

No, the only version of this theme is built to work with Wordpress. If you decide to go with Wordpress we’re here to help!

Hello – using the dark theme – yet the side product filter menu shows in white and so does the main drop down menu. Sharing buttons in product page are also not showing. How can I change these to the dark theme?
Hi there,
You can only change the background color of those elements to black by using custom code since there aren’t any color change built in options. The sharing buttons can also be changed to white by using custom.
Cheers, Alexandra
OK so would you please provide the codes. Thanks
Hello – on Shopkeeper I’m noticing this error with the magnifying glass: https://cl.ly/0Z3K3M3f312R
It’s happening on your demo. The left side of the magnifying glass is cut off. It’s happening in both Chrome and Firefox but looks fine in Safari.
Hi @ndevlin,
I’ve checked for this issue on Chrome and Firefox but I wasn’t able to replicate the issue. Maybe you can provide us with more details.
Cheers, Alexandra
Seems to only be on Macs that are on High Sierra actually.
We have used this theme for one of our clients (he purchased directly) and we had several things asked of us which this theme was unable to do via options. One of those things is having a different product layout, especially metro style or masonry style product view (literally tiles with prices and add to cart). The other thing, we changed the text to say “add to bag” and want to be able to change the cart logo to shopping bag. I know this can be achieved by uploading your own png image but you have several other places where this cart icon appears. Now you’ve included a svg json file for shopkeeper svg icon set which allows to recompile the shopkeeper icon set using own svg’s. It might be a good idea to offer an additional shopping bag icon inside a shopkeeper icon set so that we can reference and change the icon site-wide. Hope this makes sense. Thanks
Hello @grandcalifornia,
Thanks for your feedback, you’re not the first one asking for additional cart icon options so I’ll add your request to our list of open requests to be reviewed by our developers.
Cheers, Alexandra
I found that your menu button was not available in the phone browser. But debugging in the computer is normal.
Hi @iamdalaba,
I just checked our demo website on mobile and the menu button works just fine. If you’re having this issue on your website, please make sure you’re using the newest theme version.

Hello,
As one of the very first users of Shopkeeper (one of the first 100 buyers to be exact), and still a proud user of the theme to this day, I had a few questions/suggestions regarding future improvements to the theme.
1. Does the theme currently have modal popup capability via text or buttons? Given the Zurb Foundation Framework that the theme is built on, this is an invaluable feature in this age of ecommerce when you want to offer a snippet of information. Examples: a size chart for apparel, a shipping/return policy, a submit a review button – more on this below. By having modal popup capabilities, the theme owner can offer their customers more information on a product page, without sending them to a new page and risking the conversion/sale.
2. Regarding product reviews, I strongly recommend the review submission form be above the reviews. When theme owners begin accumulating hundreds of reviews, the form is buried at the bottom and requires too much scrolling, decreasing the chances of a customer finding the form and leaving a review. See one of our product pages here for an example of the review scrolling issue:
https://www.shoprootscience.com/shop/youth-face-serum
At the very least, I would recommend moving the submission form above the reviews. Another suggestion could be to have a submit review button at the top, with a modal popup of the form, if you are concerned with the reviews not appearing first – I’m assuming that’s why the review form was kept on the bottom the begin with.
As a proud owner of the theme, and one that has spread my love of Shopkeeper to all his shop owner friends, I am all about contributing in any way I can to make the theme more efficient in selling products, as well as customer friendly.
P.S. Have you thought of creating a space for your theme owners to upvote new features?
Best,
Derek Reynolds CEO, Root Science

Hi, The portfolio masonry grid looks great as long as you only have 3 rows of images. After the third row, the arrangement of that third row just repeats. How do I stop it repeating the third row arrangement to keep it looking ‘random’?
Hello @AltAesthetics,
That doesn’t seems to be happening at this end and we would like to help you get to the bottom of this issues.

Hi ! I’ve tried to update Visual composer several times and it doesn’t work. After updating, my website is showing a blank page. Your last update still include the 5.2 version. Will your next update include the last 5.3 visual composer version ? Thanks in advance for your answer and congrats, it’s a very good theme !
Hello,
To get the theme and Visual Composer updates you need to make sure that you’ve installed GetBowtied Tools plugin and that you’ve connected with your envato account in Shopkeeper > Updates. Visual Composer V5.3 is available for theme users to update so you should be as well.
