Issue 1: We have changed the navigation system slightly to fix iPad portrait/landscape menu issue. If you click on any dropdown menu, it will open a fixed dropdown now. It will be working for services and about pages. We added an about overview page so that about page doesn’t get lost for the new navigation item.

Issue 2: Navigation item called other is not an actual page. It’s there to show the pages under that page

Issue 3: iPad portrait version doesn’t have the mobile menu at this moment. We are planning to add this in our next version which will be coming in next 2 weeks hopefully.

This makes no sense – all you’ve done is add overview, but we want to use multiple drop-down menu’s and as to point 2, I know it is not a page – the point stands. As it does not link to a page, and only renders the drop-down menu items you can never see them on an iPad.

Have you applied updates to files or do we have to do them ourselves.

This is how the navigation works:

There are two types of main menu item.

1. If it’s a single navigation item, it will be directly linked to another page or external link.

2. If it has dropdown, then the main menu will not work. It will open a dropdown and only the dropdown items will work. Now for example, About is the main menu item and it has dropdown. So if you click on About, it will only open the dropdown across all the devices. You have to pick an item from the About dropdown list.

3. If you want the main menu to work while having a dropdown item, then you will need to add an arrow beside the menu. For example, About is the main menu. If you click on About, it will take you to about page. There will be an arrow beside the About menu. If you click on that arrow regardless of device you are using, it will open the dropdown. If you want this solution, we can send you instructions.

Awesome thanks – we are using the classic-big-digital-agency template and yes, the arrow seems to make sense as we want to make each menu item an individual drop-down so instructions will be good thanks.

The fix above isn’t relevant as the responsive.css in the template used doesn’t have ”.main-menu .navbar-nav li .dropdown-menu” and stops at line 1725.

There’s a CSS edit required as well.

Line 3053:

Remove:

.contact-info-box span.icon-envelope { font-size: 40px; }

Plus add text-align: left; to the div within the span class for the pop-up quote contact boxes. At the moment it aligns centre and is off canvas due to the font size duplicate so the Give us a Call / Send an Email boxes looks wrong.

We have fixed the get quote alignment problem on classic version. You can re-download the main file to get the update. I believe you already resolved it.

Dropdown with arrow is not available for our template. If you want us to do it, you can hire us for custom changes. Please send us an email to themes@axilweb.com for a custom change request.

So you’re selling a template which doesn’t work and then want me to pay you to make it work!

Let’s get this straight, the drop-down menu does not work on iPad devices. I think it would be extremely unfair to then attempt to charge us to fix it!

We will sort it ourselves and put the code to edit here for others that want it – for free!

I think you are getting me wrong. iPad menu didn’t work and thanks to you for bringing this to our attention. We already fixed it.

But adding an arrow in dropdown is a different thing. Our template doesn’t have dropdown with arrow. It has click to open dropdown style. You can either use that or change to something else. If you want us to do the changes, we will charge for it. That’s what I meant.

Currently we do not want to change our dropdown style.

I hope you understand. You will get a notification to your email when we update the tab portrait menu. Again thanks to you for brining this to our attention.

1. On mobile view when you click the menu option (three lines), the quote button is off screen.

2. On mobile view, visit homepage & mouseover the portfolio boxes – the discover button is breaking the mouseover effect and again, is too large.
