Great looking theme, I’d buy if there were a way to have your portfolio layout as a gallery. I don’t want a full page dedicated to each photograph, but I would definitely want a grid / masonry galley of my photographs which open into a lightbox.
You’re missing out on a lot of sales by this very important function imo.

Love it – great work!!—but just two questions before purchase:
1.) It says there are 2 starter skins, but beyond those “skins” can the colors be easily edited in the back end options without digging into the CSS ? I see you can change out the secondary color (orange in this case), but could I easily change out the background swatches as well (which is grey or white on the current skins)?
2.) Finally, can all the “header” type be substituted via font-face on the back end, admin panel, or only through the code?

1. If you want to change the main color (dark Gray or White) you have to deal with some CSS coding, but fortunately you don’t need to open .css files and edit it. You just need to override current background color with another one from the back-end options for the theme (theme options panel). But as I said, you will need a basic CSS knowledge to do that.
2. You mea the “headings” font. Yes, you can replace it with any Google web font, just cope/paste the 2 codes they provide in the proper place in the theme options panel. Will post a short video tutorial for this later.

Hope you dont mind before I buy to ask some more . I want to be sure, cause I have already bought some themes, spend money and no of them were what I was looking for.
Now I am sure I can use photos at home page in the post section
1. Nivo slider doesnt admit Video, right? 2. Is it possible at home (with Nivo Slider) to set post section before portfolio section? 3. Can I set 4 recent posts with their photos at home page? For example 2 columns and 2 rows = 4 recent posts? Instead of two ? 4. Some question with the proftolio ago home page? 5. This theme works similar to your other theme showycase? A friend use it and seems easy to use

2. Yes, all the sections are fully arrangeable.
3. The available options, are a) 2 posts + description (like the demo) b) 3 posts in a row. With a minor code modification you can get 6 posts in 2 row without description.
4. You mean to use sortable portfolio page as home? Yes you can.
5. Exactly the same ease, if not easier

1. Self-hosted video (m4v, ogv/ogg) are supported for blog posts only for now, but will add this ability to the portfolio posts as well very soon within a week or so.
2. Not by default, but with easy modifications you can have comments feature for the portfolio items. There is a topic describing this on my support forum.

2. Yes, just set any link for the slide while you’re creating it (there is a field for that) and it will be available in the slide caption.
3. The theme are fully localizable, you translate it to any language.

The hatch overlay aims to reduce the feeling of image pixelation, but you always can remove it by inserting simple CSS rule in the theme options panel.
