Can I ask if we are doing migration to Angular 5 at some certain point? I realize that chankya/chankya is Angular 4 version. chankya/ng5-seed is Angular 5 verision, but not full migration.
Also, can I ask what’s the “-seed” stands for?

Yes we will update the full package with angular 5 once all modules used in full package are available with angular 5 support. Seed project is a boilerplate ( quick start ) project to start your app development which provides you the full package without any custom pages. You can use package and start adding your required functionality.

Thanks for purchasing our template. It seems you have a version compatibility issue with ng2-tree and ng cli latest version. You should update the ng2-tree version also to latest release, please change ng2-tree version in package.json file to “2.0.0-rc.1” and check if works.

It seems there is a module version compatibility issue with breadcrum and angular version 4.4.6. You can either change the angular version to breadcrumb supported version as used in downloaded package of should upgrade breadcrumb module version to latest in package.json file. Hi, I’m trying to upgrade this project to angular 5. Actually, ng5-breadcrumb is not working anymore, but that’s ok. the sidemenu vertical scrollbar is not working anymore and that’s ok for now. But I don’t know one thing in main-material.html, in the first line: ’#root=”$implicit”’, and in browser there is an error: There is no directive with “exportAs” set to ”$implicit” (“ ]#root=”$implicit” dir=”ltr” [ngClass]=”themeSkinColor” [class.app-dark]=”dark” [class.boxed]=”boxed” “): ng:///ChankyaAppModule/MainComponent.html@0:17. If I remove ’#root=”$implicit”’, the page works, what does this do, Can I actually remove it?

Thanks for purchasing our template, we are working to update the template to support angular 5 but are waiting for all the modules to have a stable version once that is available will update it to themeforest soon. If you don’t have a multilingual app setup and will have it in single language then you can remove this ’#root=”$implicit”’, this is used to support language translation ( mainly RTL )

Thanks for showing interest in our template. Yes we would be upgrading the template to angular 5 once all the modules used in template will be stable. There are lots of npm modules which might have some compatibility issues, so once they are stable we will do the needful. Briefly went through the download and looks impressive.. Quick question – tried opening the index.html within the dist folder in IE but came with a blank page.. Should’nt this page show up from the file system itself (without deploying/running in any http webserver or ng-serve).. I would assume all the assets and js files are relative to the index.html and resides in the local file system..

I have purchased Chankya Admin template yesterday.
I am fairly new to angularjs and am planning to build a website which include Static UI and admin components, so would be using both the templates provided by you (I loved them both).
Could you please advise if I should compile/run them separate as two components or you have some merged version too? Also, what is the best practice (should we compile/run static UI and admin separate?)

Thanks for purchasing our template. It totally depends on your requirement whether you should have admin panel and UI separate or merged. We recommend you to build theme separately and they both will have different type of modules and components, It will be a too much work to have them merged as they both are built with bootstrap 4 but with different variable sets and css. You should create a folder for your project and make 2 different folders for admin and UI in it. This way it will be easy to develop and test them in parallel.

Hi,
You can run a single project on a single port at a time but can change the port for one of the project like for UI to run it in parallel, you can set 3000 port and it will run on localhost:3000 so that you build and test at same time.
