That was the first page I checked but it stops any new information since Version 6.0.0 – 07 Nov 17. I am just wondering what changed in the latest version released on (26 December 17) because I am about 95% done with the website and if the updates are good I will need to redo the pages to make sure I have the latest update.

I’m trying to work with Slider revolution, included in Porto. I found visual editor in Vendor directory. But is there any step by step tutorial how to get it to work? Still can’t get visual editor to work and to edit sliders included in Porto or to change free sliders from Slider revolution website. Thanks!
Hello, Revolution Slider is included on Porto, but please note that the HTML version does not come with visual editor for the slider, the changes must be done in the HTML itself. Revolution Slider has a very extensive documentation available.

Hello, the new shop demos are being developed by another author, the same author who created the Wordpress and Magento version, they are specialized in eCommerce. I just talked to them and they said the theme is being delayed a little bit more.

The update to the new Bootstrap 4 requires major changes in the HTML.
You can check all the changes that were done by the Bootstrap team in this link: https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.0/migration/ – Note that they have changed several things.
The differences, mainly in the grid system are explained in this link: https://www.quackit.com/bootstrap/bootstrap_4/differences_between_bootstrap_3_and_bootstrap_4.cfmUnfortunately there’s no easy way to update the theme other than doing it manually, updating all the vendor folders with the latest version of all plugins, update the JS and CSS files that come with the theme (theme.js, theme.init.js, theme.css, etc…) and then update the HTML itself, comparing the new classes and changing them.
We recommend to use a “compare tool”, like this one: http://kdiff3.sourceforge.net/ – and use it to compare the folders (your current website and the new version).

Hello, thanks for the message. We decided to remove the shop demos as the theme was too heavy and the design of the shop demos were not the latest ones (based in the Magento version). Porto HTML is now faster and the code is much better. We will consider to add the new shop demos in the future. Hi. Sorry to come again, but I’m having a bit of an issue with the skins – which was not happening before. Trying to use “demo-business-consulting” and “demo-construction” as internal pages since I like the layout and feel, but when getting the code for the css off your Style Switcher it just doesn’t take it: no change or just minor changes. Found some additional ”;” (line 3623 and others) but that is not it. Any thoughts?

I’ve already tried submitting a support ticket but have not received any answer. I am trying to add a semitransparent header background so that the header is more visible while the revslider plays in the background. Everywhere that I have looked in the code caused the entire menu to become semitransparent. http://chrissamplesite.com/ as you can see on the link, I have created a logo with a semitransparent background, but would like to make the whole top band with this and remove the background from the image, since, even though the logo is more visible, the menu still fades into the background on certain images

Yes. Worked like a charm. Apparently it didn’t appreciate me trying to add transparency to hex values but works fine with rgbw
The other issue I am having is getting the homepage mp4 that starts the rev slider to play on mobile. Obviously since it’s part of a slider component I cannot use the standard coding to force autoplay on iOS or android.
