There is just one thing I can not find: in the choice of page templates for the home page, I do not see the template “midlepage” in the list of choices. as on this example: http://theme.crumina.net/modesto/leftright-projects/

I too am having an issue with the instagram widget. It’s displaying ”Instagram has returned invalid data.” I looked through these comments and saw the recommendation to update to v. 1.4.2. I did that and it says it’s updated, but it still is showing the error. I have the Child theme activated. Do I need to activate the parent theme instead?

Sure, you can do the update, but we would recommend to do site backups before it, so in case something goes wrong you could easily restore all from backup.

This issue was fixed in the latest theme version which is uploaded to autoupdate center. Please go to your Dashboard>Updates: http://prntscr.com/jgg0xn and update the theme to v. 1.4.2

What a great theme, we’re still enjoying it. I searched through the comments to see if a good cache plugin or minify plugin had been suggested. Our home page load (testing with three sources) is about 1.67 Mg and only 250 K of that is from images. To compress CSS and JS files, is there a plugin that you can recommend that seems to work well with this theme?

Actually you can use any cache plugin if it is correctly set up. But WP Rocket plugin is the best and easiest to configure at our opinion.

For Slider 4 Sections #2, how can I remove the B&W to color hover effect? I’d like it to stay full color.

You can disable the B&W effect with this CSS code:
.nice-slider-item .background {
-webkit-filter: none;
filter: none;}
Also please note that there is a dark overlay over the images to make the text in white boxes readable. But if you would like to remove it too, here is a CSS code for this:
.nice-slider-item .background:after {
background: none;
}
Insert the codes into Appearance>Theme Settings>Advanced>Custom CSS field.

I got a Problem with the Footer font colour on a normal site with the slider fullscreen font colour… its white and the background is also white… i only see the red heart ? how can i change the footer font colour in black ? and is there any chance to get the footer without a line on top ?

But it didnt fix the probelm that i cant use a different footer style ! and if i change the slider style it didnt work again !!! so why i cant use the normal footer styles ?
The font color is fixed as I can see. But footer styles are unchangable for the “Slider Full Screen” template, they are hardcoded for each slider type. However, if you choose “Slider with Content” template, footer options will work http://prntscr.com/hpinsw

Hi! Your theme is working great for me, but I’m having trouble adding the categories at the top of the portfolio page – so that you can click a specific category to show, like in Demo Project List #4. I am using the layout for Projects List #6 (so I can have more than 3 columns).
I’ve attempted to add a Raw HTML in Visual Editor; the category menu looks right, but when you click on one of the categories, nothing happens.
This is the HTML that I’ve added.. Am I missing something?

Adding pure HTML doesn’t ensure that required JS file will initialize. Category filter panel is missing in Projects List #6 not by chance. Unfortunately, it is not possible for this layout type.
