Hello, I modified the .po language file. I created fr_FR.mo (and Denizen.mo) with POEDIT . I put the .mo file in the root and the languages directory but the template still in english. Any idea? Thanks.
Hello! When I fill the contact form with wrong name, email etc there’s information that ‘Name is required’. How can I change language(english -> polish) of it? Thanks!
When a user sends a message from the contact form, I am only receiving the message field that the user fills out. All other fields are not passed to the email that I receive. Any thoughts? Thank you.
The demo contact form is not working as the server issue, you will receive emails from your server.

Having a problem with my homepage, is there a way to just have the homepage like a regular page and not with the Kaya Slider??

Go to “Settings > Reading ” set a Frontpage Display as a Static and select which page you want to display as a Homepage.
With the (bx)slider, is it possible to change the images to fading in/out rather than sliding across? I guess it wouldnt be called a slider then but…..

after downloading files, find the folder called: denizen and zip it up and install it from wordpress installed from admin dashboard or you can upload denizen folder directly into your theme folder on the server and activate it from themes section.
great theme but unfortunately I’m having problems getting it to work on my clients site. theres a lot of problems with it, namely the slider doesnt slide and the shortcode isnt working, it’s coming out all distorted. I installed the theme on another site on my own hosting account and everything showed up perfectly so I am thinking it may be a problem with my clients hosting(godaddy) php engine, which is 5.2 as opposed to 5.3.9 on my hosting. Do you think that could that be the issue? Has anyone else come to you with a similar problem? Thanks
No, it may not be php issue, can you email me your client website url? and admin access if possible to look into this?
how, are there any psd files that go with this theme?
Really there is no need of full PSD for this item as we did it using mainly CSS , you will get the PSD file with layers which are useful for customization, like slider bg, arrow and body patterns, we did it keeping in mind newbies to make changes easily.
I purchased the theme and installed it to wordpress, but I can’t seem to change it in any way. I’m a noob, so is there anything that can walk me through the process?

its better to over write entire theme folder id you do not make any changes to the theme.
I also just ran into another issue.
Whenever I click to load the archive by month from the blog sidebar all of the styles and spacing of columns and the layout go wonky…..what is up with that?
I tried looking at the archive.php, but it seems to be correct….I am just not sure what the reasoning behind this issue is. It is similar to what seniortiago said above…..there are some issues with the theme that you only notice once you start digging in and building.
I can get rid of the archive widget in the sidebar for now, but this is something that really should be fixed, since most people like to have that feature on their blog pages. I notice that the preview only has the category widget plus some of your custom ones.
Fixed few bugs raised by you and few other users. you can get the latest files after few hours as now those are waiting approved by reviewer.
I think the issue is trying to figure out where the extra link with the “class=more-link” is coming from. It seems to be the one that is called when you use the “Insert More Tag” in the post editor. It also seems to be the one that allows the automatic shortening of the blog post, but does not display correctly.
If I use the Read more short code, it adds the “class=readmore” which works and looks correct, but does not actually “trim” the post on the blog page. It displays where I tell it to, but the rest of the post still shows below that point.
Please let me know how this is supposed to work correctly.
OK, so I got the readmore short code to work by itself, however, now it is not actually shortening the post for display on the blog page, it is just showing the read more button followed by the rest of the post…..do I need to precede this code with another short-code of some kind to get it to display only the part of the post that is above the readmore shortcode?
I think the only issue that I am not sure about is the Read More button. When I insert the “Insert More Tag” in the post editor, the read more button shows up twice, once partial and once complete the line below the first….
it behaves correctly, just has two of them…any ideas?

hi, nice theme & I’m about to purchase this theme..
..but there are some bugs and I’d like to know if they will be fixed.
Applying a search keyword, like “home”, returns a bit messed up results, like date, text in top of vid/pictures & pictures out of page layout.

Is it possible to remove the ‘Read More’ button on a gallery/portfolio item?
yes, you can, open kaya_portfolio.php which is in lib/functions/shortcodes
and find the code for readmore and remove it, which like
<div class="readmore"> .... </div>

It might be from exerpt, open kaya_portfolio.php and find this code

and remove it, you can find it in 2 places.

Making it center is very simple adding this:
margin:0px auto; and remove the float:left for ID container in layout.css
I will include this option in options panel in coming updates.
thanks. css is no problem, panel update even easier. Just didn’t know if it would break when centering
