I have a couple of questions to determine which of your review themes would be a best fit for my project.
For my site, I’m only interested in adding posts (not pages) which would need to display both the average user rating and site rating along with the multi-rating summary in the post, and the ability for the user to rate the post using the user rating widget (not a hub item and not up/down voting). Is this possible with any of the review themes?
On the home page I would like to display latest posts from all categories with the average user rating on the thumbnail image, and in a different section on the home page, the latest posts of a specific category or tag with both the user rating and site rating displayed on the thumbnail. Is this possible to do with any of your review themes?
If on the user rating widget the ability to rate / leave a review is deactivated after it has been active and people have rated, is it still possible to display the average user rating? I would like to keep a record of and display the user rating but prevent users from rating after some time has passed.
Is it just Guage that offers the awards option?
Is it possible to apply the numeric bar style of the Guage rating widget to any of the other review themes instead of the star rating option?

1) This is not possible with the Gauge (it requires pages and hub templates). I suggest looking at my Huber theme which allows you to add a rating to any post or page: https://themeforest.net/item/huber-multipurpose-review-theme/19858260
2) This is possible with all themes.
3) Yes the average user rating will still be stored and displayed even if the users cannot continue to rate an item.
4) Yes, you can change the star rating image in Huber via the theme options to a number bar image.

It’s unlikely this will be incorporated into the theme now as it will cause too many complications with the existing system. If users want to use posts as hubs now you can purchase the Huber which has this functionality.

It’s definitely possible but would take some work. The easiest way to do this would be to modify the Huber theme to look like Gauge. If you’re not comfortable with CSS/HTML/PHP then you will want to hire someone to do this for you (I can refer you to my developers if you want).

Hello, when I try to open the pages after the first page , I mean the 2,3,4 until the end doesnt show the items inside http://dodland.com/games/all-games/ if you make click here opens the page and show the items, if you make click to open the 2 page … open but the items are disappeared. My support has expired but its not my fault that to renew it.

1) The theme only comes with an English translation, but all the text is localized so it can easily be translated using the Loco Translate plugin.
2) The theme was just on sale over the Christmas period, so I’m not allowed to reduce the price this shown after. To be honest, the theme is really cheap for what it is and if you hire someone to make this theme for you it would cost you thousands.

1. Can I edit the theme without coding skills? Is there something like a website builder? 2. Can I change the review score to 0-100 instead of 1.0-10.0? 3. Can I edit the content of a Hub page? For example removing “Latest images” or “Cheats”?

2) The score needs to be out a maximum of 10.
3) Yes, the tabs and sections on every hub are completely customizable.

Hi, Nice Theme. I am interested in purchasing this but I have a couple of questions.
This theme has Games reviews only and the filter configurations are all game specific. Your Review Theme has many review types (games, films, travel, tech). And each section has related filters. Is there anyway that this theme can be configured in similar manner as my site will have multiple reviewing types as well.
Second question is, is it possible to have the reviews work on Posts instead of pages? Based on comments, it seems that the theme works on reviews in pages. Can it work with posts instead?

Absolutely. Gauge can be used to review any type of content and multiple types of content at the same time.

Hey Guys, we just updated our site to version 4.9.1 and now the home – site loads very very long! When we deactivate the gauge plugin, the website is fast… we are using a cache but without it – omg

I see that you mentioned that you can send updated version of plugin, but also I saw that you mentioned that this is not recommended because updated plugin with not updated theme can cause problems?

I’m quite impressed with the theme and I am interested in purchasing it but I have a few questions to make sure it will suit my needs: 1. For my purposes, the content for product reviews is split up a bit too much and there are too many options along the sub-header (ie. Review, News, Images, Cheats, Forum) – Can I reduce these to a few and have the actual review on the main page of a product instead of being one link further? 2. Is it possible to add affiliate link buttons in various locations (For example, at http://gauge.ghostpool.com/call-of-duty-ghosts/ can I insert a button just under the text that is located in the dark transparent box? or in the main text of the review section? 3. In the review section, can the summary bar that shows the good, the bad and the gauges be moved to the top of the page? 4. Just want to confirm the colors theme can be changes site-wide (including the header, footer, background, columns, headings, text, gauges etc.? 5. Do you have other demo variations I can see to understand how the theme can be customized?

2) There’s not a specific options for this, but you just use the button element to add a button that links to an affiliate in these areas.
3) There is no option for this, I can help you out with a modification to move this.

Great looking theme, but flooded my webspace with thousends of thumbnails. Is there a way to completly disable thumbs generation??

If you disable the image generation then you won’t see any images on your site. Really any host nowadays should give you plenty of space so that you don’t have to worry about the amount of images created.

I have purchased the theme around a year ago and I am very satisfied by its features. Nevertheless I recently received a notification from AdSense that some pages from my site violate their program terms. More specifically the violation referred to a page that I have already deleted from my site, so the 404 page is displayed instead.
The cause of the violation is that pages with little to no value are not permitted to display ads. Investigation on the 404 page template resulted that you include the footer ad code to it (the footer ad code is set from the theme’s settings page).
Its imperative to remove ad code from the 404 page.

Thank you for the really short answer, but I think you misunderstood me. I pinpointing to you a serious bug of your template, I am not asking for a custom fix (as a matter of fact I have already applied a custom fix myself).
You need to address this bug As Soon As Possible, because it may trigger violations regarding the terms of ad networks to other sites also.

Hi there,
The theme provides an option to add content to the footer on all pages – nobody else has ever raised this issue. This is not an option specifically for Google ads, so I don’t see how this is a theme bug. It really is a customisation based on your specific needs. That said, I recognise many customers will use this for Adsense so I will look into including an option in a future update.

The bug resides in the fact the the ad content at the page footer section is present on the 404 page also, it really shouldn’t. A 404 page is not like any other page of the theme, the theme should not display ads there since a 404 page does not contain valuable content by nature. Of course this is not an option for Google ads only – that is exactly what I said earlier. Almost all ad networks will ban sites that display ads on pages with no valuable content on them.

My only point is the footer content option is not just for ads, it’s for images, shortcodes etc. that users want to display on every page. But as I say I’ll look into providing an option to exclude this on non-content pages.

So you updated to WordPress 4.9 and straight away the theme stopped working? I’m running 4.9 on my Gauge test installation and have no issues. It sounds like one of your plugins is not playing nicely with the update.

I literally have no other plugins. I was not running Gauge I installed it fresh and it hangs up on install, then when it installs not every thing displays properly and it is a mess. I literally need this to be fixed asap.
Also the fact you have a non working product yet we can’t submit a ticket because support is up. its not a person problem support is something that should be given no matter what ESPECIALLY if the product does not work.
As I said the theme works for me and nobody else has reported this issue so it’s very unlikely to a theme issue. However I referred you to a link on what to do if you have a bug, could you please read through that and follow the steps and currently you’ve not done this.
Also I do not control the support model on this website – this was designed by Envato. I will also add that most companies charge for support outside of the warranty period.
No you charge for support outside of the warranty period. a product being kept up to date and it not working is not a “charge” for support type thing. Also we have tried it with godaddy, a2 hosting, digitalocean, and hostgator. Ironically it works on none of them. weird yes?? I have spoke to others who are having the same issue. so again I see where you are saying below further “you are the only one with this issue” I mean every single user that uses ur theme can not be having “only them” type issues. fix the theme this is ridiculous we bought the theme and waiting to use it. now we are being punished because we did not use it right away. that is absurd.

Once you have confirmed this is a theme bug you can email support here (you must be logged in to see email form). I asked you to do this over a month ago and you still haven’t done it. Why?
Who else is having this issue? Do you have contact with lots of other Gauge customers? How did that happen? You have no access to customer details? And why have they not contacted me about this issue? They shouldn’t suffer in silence.
I never said I had contact with a lot of others. I said you use the “ur the only one having this issue” reply a lot as you use it down there. and I am part of a lot of forums especially sites that have top ten themes and etc and have spoken to others who are having the same exact issue. if it is a clean install no plugins, nothing no other themes. only gauge and it is broken and will not work and multiple hosts that is not our fault. We have don the steps since the first time, so here is the steps we take since you want to keep bringing it up
we have a clean fresh wordpress installation.. we download the theme directly from here and do not use a version we have already downloaded as to get the newest version. we upload the theme, and install demo etc. and it breaks completely on multiple hosts.
I said you’re the only one with issue because you are. Obviously if the theme doesn’t work with the latest version of WordPress you would see other users commenting on this here, but they haven’t.
I don’t understand why haven’t you emailed me with your login details so I can look into your issue like it says in the link I referred you to a month ago? I’m trying to help you, but you just keeping being hostile and don’t seem to have any desire to resolve your own issue.
