Hi guys. I’m having a problem with theme In Vogue. when i’m editing the page “home”, the element “product carousel” is not working to get product categories. Please follow the link bellow and check what I’m saying: https://youtu.be/z9ygOudsACE
Hi startupsolucoes
For the product elements an empty product category cannot be used so you will just need to ensure the product category contains at least one published product. The product category name will then be available to choose when you being typing the name in the ‘Category’ field for the element settings. In this case the ‘promocoes’ category you are trying to add contains 0 products which is why it cannot be added.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.

hi, is there any option like other themes to “install theme as demo” in one click? or somethings like this. thanks
Hi med_afzali
Yes, once the theme is active you can navigate to the ‘inVogue Settings > Demos’ tab to install the theme demo content.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi guys,
We really love this theme – and after a year of back and forth with the site we’re using it for we are almost ready to take the site live.
Now the only problem that keeps popping up is with regards to the Sales Page – we’ve used the demo layout but there are a few issues with it (see below) and we’d prefer to have a standard category style layout for the sales segment but it seems the standard Visual Composer element has been deactivated – could you kindly advise how we get it back?
PS: With your sales page element there seems to be an issue on Simple products not displaying the price & price reduction as per the variable products. This is definitely something worth sorting out.
Thanks a mil!
Hi ShiftCTRL
To enable the default set of Visual Composer page elements you’d need to navigate to the ‘inVogue Settings’ page and add in the following to the end of the URL ‘&visual=yes’ i.e. the below link would be:
https://yoursite.coml/wp-admin/themes.php?page=htheme_settings&visual=yesYou can then navigating to the ‘Visual Composer’ tab which will be available just above the ‘Mega Menu’ tab of the theme options. From here you can select the ‘Enable default VC elements’ option and save the change. Please just note we don’t recommend disabling this option once enabled.
We’ll definitely take a look at the price display of this element and see what the issue could be.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Regards, Milos
Thanks Milos! That did the trick
Much appreciated.
Hi there, I’m currently running version 1.22.1 – Is there a newer version? I’m not sure where it says what version is currently being offered. I’m getting errors about outdated Woocommerce core files.
Hi im56seann
Currently the latest version is 1.22.1 and we’ll be releasing a new version in the next couple of days to update the WooCommerce template files.
Regards, Milos
Ok, great! Two main issues that I’m having are that the text string “Category:” appears in all the category page titles before the actual category title. This didn’t used to be the case. Also the star ratings for both the thumbnails and the popular items sidebar widget no longer work properly. Hopefully you can address those issues in your update.Thanks.
Hi im56seann
The star rating issue has been addressed with the new update and should be working correctly now, however, there has not been a change with the category title and this has been and still remains ‘category: category name’ so there have not been any updates to this.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Regards, Milos
Ok, thanks. So how can I remove the “category:” string then? Also has that new update been made available?
Hi im56seann
The new update is now live and available for download from Theme Forest, you can take a look at our documentation page linked below covering how the update can be applied using the theme ZIP file in the ‘option 3’ section.
http://heroplugins.com/product/invogue-theme/documentation/?section=knowledge_base&article=Update-the-themeFor the category page title, in order to make this change you’d need to edit the ‘invogue/htheme/templateparts/header/top-content-image.php’ file and on line 23 replace the function the_archive_title(); with single_cat_title(); instead.
Regards, Milos
Hi im56seann
My apologies I see I had made a mistake in the file path and this should be ‘invogue/htheme/templateparts/header/top-plain.php’ instead.
Regards, Milos
Awesome! I’ve worked with lots of different theme builders and you’re one of the best. Thanks again.
Only a pleasure!
So it looks like the WooCommerce star ratings are still buggy. There are no ratings being displayed on the main shop pages thumbnail images and the top rated products sidebar widget shows a bunch of S’s over top of the grayed out stars. Can we get this fixed?
Also on the product detail pages the string “Category:” is being applied in front of the category name. This didn’t used to be the case. How can I take that out? Thanks!
Hi im56seann
Could you please send through a support ticket, you can send this as ‘not purchased’ and then just include the purchase code in the message body. Please just include the links to the pages with the issues and the login info for the site so we can take a closer look at this for you.

Hi Sirs,
We’d like to show the products randomly in the home page:
we’ve tried:
[htheme_woolist_slug htheme_woolist_sorting=”rand” htheme_woolist_layout=”contained_caro” htheme_woolist_ids=”“]
and
[htheme_woolist_slug htheme_woolist_sorting=”random” htheme_woolist_layout=”contained_caro” htheme_woolist_ids=”“]
but it doesn’t work, is there any other shortcode we can use?
Many thanks in advance and best regards,
Antonio
Hi Afmoreno
I’m afraid the default ‘Products’ element within inVogue does not support a random order so this would not be possible to do using this page element. You’d need to enable the default Visual Composer page elements in order to make use of this instead which would allow for a random order to be set.

Report
File: /invogue/htheme/classes/class.get.woo.php
Line: 1267 and 1268
Note: Element </div> can not be child of </ul>. You must invert the order to </ul> </div>.
Thank you.
Hi raulclaudino
Thanks for letting us know about that! I’ll let our devs know so we can look into that for the next update.

Hi, i would like to switch to Elementor, do you think your theme is compatible with it ? Regards
Hi Brockway
We’ve opted to use Visual Composer with inVogue and so our integration is tied with VC as the page builder. We’ve not done any testing with ‘Elementor’ so I couldn’t confirm its compatibility. However all of the themes page elements do rely on Visual Composer so by using this plugin you then would not be able to use any of the theme’s designed elements as shown in the demo.

My logo is in the upper left but after scrolling it changes into a hyperlink text that says “Back to home”. How can I have the logo always there even after scrolling?
Nevermind, I found it as the sticky logo
Glad you are sorted:) Let us know if you have any other questions, we’ll gladly help.

Hey, can i 1 Click change to color/styling in the Options? Like the Buy-Button or Menucolor? Or only in the Css?
Hi thehotfix
You’d be able to edit color options through the theme settings for various different sections including buttons and the menu, without custom CSS, but these are all separate sections and it wouldn’t be one setting to change the entire color scheme throughout the theme.
I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi. I would like to know how to change some buttons. For example, translate “add to cart”, “update cart”, “have a cupon”, “calculate shipping”...tks
Hi The full site is translatable with the use of WPML. You can also change some of these items with custom CSS and we can show you how to do this.
Please send us a support email and we’ll gladly help. http://heroplugins.com/product/invogue-theme/documentation/?section=submit_ticket

Hi
Please send us a refund request here and we’ll gladly accept it. https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new

Thanks for the info Milos. I was just coming on here to get help for the theme saying some of the invision / woocommerce files are out of date.
Hi randyjohns
We’ll be updating the WooCommerce templates within the theme with the next inVogue release, there should not be any issues with the current ones as the WooCommerce update should be backwards compatible but if you have any issues please let me know.
Regards, Milos
After some update every product category page is showing above the single products the Product Categories. This would normally be a selection on the Dashboard from—Woocomerce>Settings>Product>Display Select on “Shop Page Display” and select show categories.
In this theme all these settings can be found in the Customizer.
So… although all these settings are on the default and the Product Categories should not be shown on the Shop or any other page are visible.
And I can’t find anywhere where this can be disabled.
Anyone has any idea?
You can see here… The first 6 boxes shouldn’t be there!!
https://www.caramellabags.gr/shop/Thanx!!
Hi Displav
With inVogue by default these settings are not provided either through the theme options panel or through the customiser and it seems like perhaps this setting is being affected by another source. The main control for how products are displayed would be WooCommerce and as you’ve mentioned this setting is on the ‘Woocomerce>Settings>Product>Display’ with the ‘Shop page display and ‘Default category display’. Could you confirm if these are set to be ‘Show products’?
If you’d like to send us a support ticket I’d be happy to take a closer look for you.
http://heroplugins.com/product/invogue-theme/documentation/?section=submit_ticketRegards, Milos
Thank you Milos for your quick reply.
The only place that the selection of “Show Products” appears is through the Customiser. And it is on “Show Product” for both “Shop Page Display” & “Default Category Display”.
My support has expired although the problem appeared couple of weeks ago. It wasn’t always there!
So I can’t really leave you a ticket on Support and if we figure this out it would be great for any other who has the same issue.
Could you please help me with this?
Thank you Milos!
Hi Displav
It’s no problem, please submit the ticket with the ‘not purchased’ option and then just include the purchase code in the message body and I’d be happy to take a look, please also just include the WordPress login info.
Regards, Milos
For any other users that might be having the same issue this is a known issue with WooCommerce version 3.3.0 that is affecting some themes and will be resolved with the next update to version 3.3.1 which should be released soon.
Regards, Milos
Great Milos. Thank you so much for your help!
I’ve never met an author like this. I bought the template last year, and have kept many questions, but the author never showed any irritations. Best author I ever seen in themeforest. VERY KIND! AWESOME!
Thank you for your kind words! It’s only a pleasure;) You know where to find us next time.
Hello,
Is this theme 100% WPML ready and competible?
Hi, Yes it is indeed:)
Please also feel free to chat to our support team if you need any assistance.
Kind Regards, Gideon
Hello, It seems that the theme delete a number of existing elements from Visual Composer, a lot of WooCommerce one. It’s weird for an ECommerce oriented theme.
For examples it’s sales season tommorrow in France, and i cannot create a page that will display all my products in sale.
Regards.
Hi
The theme hides all VC elements that is not used by the theme, but this can be switched on with a special key. Please send us a support email to request this. http://heroplugins.com/product/invogue-theme/documentation/?section=submit_ticket
Kind Regards, Gideon
If the syling remain the same, it is indeed helpfull.
