If your logos uploaded in customize panel do not affect then logos may have been uploaded at page level. So please edit your page > Pofo page settings at bottom > Header tab > remove demo logos here so it will then take logos from customize panel.

Yes you should have knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS to use HTML template as you will need to change content / images / style in file code. There are no pros / cons between HTML and WordPress but that depends on your need. If you want to manage page content using admin backend then WordPress is better.

Bootstrap 4.0 stable version is just released last month. We are currently using Bootstrap 3.3 which is working fine but yes we will update to Bootstrap 4 in future and unfortunately we do not have any ETA on that as that will be a big task to update Bootstrap and change overall template and all demo pages for proper functioning, look and compatibility.

I have inspected the modal to add more content so that it will need to have a scrollbar to show all the content. But it still disturbs the body content when modal popup is closed. Please have a look at it and you will understand what I mean to say.
