how i can edit category sidebar
i purchased theme and the installation also from envato, the theme expert is saying its not his responsibility to make sure functionality is working ? for instance , the registration is not working , also the geo maps plugin in home page

You don’t have any reason to hire so-called ‘theme experts’ for this as we made sure that the process is as simple as it can be for our customers to do it themselves.

One of my client is purchased this theme, and I am creating a Coupon & deal website, I have an issue. When I Post a DEAL, the deal is not capturing the logo of the related store, and when I post a coupon, the coupon is auto capture store logo. Please let me know, how can I change this, so deals also show the store logo and no need for the independent featured image in all deals.

The deals are showing featured images and coupons are showing the logos of their stores. That is by default and any change needs to be made manually.

I disabled “Allow people to post comments on new articles” and also disabled on the deal itself yet it’s still showing.

Why don’t you not offer Standard PayPal gateway in CouponXL?
There is no need for PayPal Payout/API if CouponXL is used as an affiliate site or a single user coupon site or a single user discount site.
Should be easy to add, why aren’t you?

It is not only the affiliate site or single user coupon or a single user discount site. Site owners can earn money by charging offer postings to their site but they don’t have to.
Please make yourself more familiarize with the theme and make sure to read the documentation included.

I am aware that not all installations are affiliate or single user/coupon/discount site. But many are and for those users the standard PayPal (only requires Email) is much easier than setting up a PayPal merchant/API account.
I read all your documentation and didn’t find any information on standard PayPal (if I missed it please show me).
Standard PayPal is the most common gateway and offered by most of your competitors.
I don’t understand why you are so reluctant to integrate standard PayPal, there is no good reason not to do it.
I also don’t understand why you don’t offer a bank transfer and/or offline payment option in your theme. There are quite a few users/customers in this world who don’t have credit cards, but they can make easy payments from their bank accounts at ATM machines.
Most developers are happy to receive feedback and suggestions from their customers and users on how to improve their products.

6 days ago I installed the Envato plugin with the API (API is confirmed).
So far I have not received any notification about a pending update to the latest version. I know I have to click to update, but need notification first.
How long does it take to get update notification through Envato plugin?

After update to 4.1.0, when i open a page for edit (or create new), it pops an error “Failed to load plugin url: http://localhost:8888/guru-wp/wp-content/themes/CouponXL/js/shortcodes.js". As i see, folder “couponxl/includes/shortcodes” is missing. Also files “couponxl/includes/shortcodes.php” and “couponxl/js/shortcodes.js” are missing after the update. I’ve tried to deactivate-uninstall-install CouponXL Shortcodes plugin but nothing fixes. Should i paste the above folder/files from my backup before the update? Or is there something else we can do?

In the new version there is new plugin CouponXL Shortcodes that you can install by going to Appearance -> Install Required Plugins or in the lib folder in the theme.

Not by default, you would need to integrate them yourself or hire someone to do it for you. We did not test it with ACF so we really are not sure if it is going to work out of the box.
