Hi, I bought this theme and it’s very good =)

But right now I’m struggling to add Lazy Load as some of my trips have a lot of images. I’ve tried several lazy load plugins I found online and no one worked..

Do you any plugin or any way to achieve this? (just want images to be downloaded when user actually see it – scroll).

Thanks

Hi there,

unfortunately we haven’t tested any specific plugin for lazy loading. Can you tell us which plugin have you used?

Regards

Hi, yes. I’ve tested all the plugins recommended by these 2 pages (first pages on google): https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/6-lazy-load-plugins-to-make-your-wordpress-site-faster/ https://www.wpkube.com/fastest-lazy-load-wp-plugins/

So I tried the following plugins:

Lazy Load – https://wordpress.org/plugins/lazy-load/ BJ Lazy Load – https://wordpress.org/plugins/bj-lazy-load/ jQuery Image Lazy Load WP – https://wordpress.org/plugins/jquery-image-lazy-loading/ Image Lazy Load (Unveil.js) – https://wordpress.org/plugins/image-lazy-load/ Rocket Lazy Load – https://wordpress.org/plugins/rocket-lazy-load/ Unveil Lazy Load – https://wordpress.org/plugins/image-lazy-load/ a3 Lazy Load – https://wordpress.org/plugins/a3-lazy-load/ Lazy Load XT – https://wordpress.org/plugins/lazy-load-xt/ Speed Up – Lazy Load – https://wordpress.org/plugins/speed-up-lazy-load/ Lazy Loading Responsive Images – https://wordpress.org/plugins/lazy-loading-responsive-images/ JCH Optimize – https://wordpress.org/plugins/jch-optimize/ Smart4y Lazy Load – https://codecanyon.net/item/smart4y-lazy-load-image-iframe-wordpress-plugin/20523046 Crazy Lazy – https://wordpress.org/plugins/crazy-lazy/ Zedna WP Image Lazy Load – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-image-lazy-load/

The last one Zedna was the only one that almost worked, but the mosaic/gallery images didn’t appear at all, but for my background images at least it worked.

This is an example of a trip on my blog that I’d like to have all images lazy loading: http://viajandocomamalarosa.com.br/guia/egito/

I basically use background images and mosaic/gallery images on the right.

Can you help me on that?

Thanks for providing this list! We’ll have a round of tests on these, and see if there’s anything we can do to make images be lazy loaded using one of those.

Hi Guys, considering to buy this theme. I checked the docs, but didn’t find an answer to my question. Is there a option to display the map full page instead of full width? so not on the home page, but on a dedicated page. Thanks for letting me know!

Hi there,

Thank you. Meanwhile, I had purchased the theme and I am waiting for the link to get access to the support area. Unfortunately, it seems I had misinterpreted an essential function (well, for my use) that the theme seems to lack. I was under the impression the map-pointers were clickable and redirected to posts. It seems there is no such option? If not, As I have only purchased the theme a few hours ago and I won’t be able to use it in this scenario, would a refund be considered?

Hi there,

each trip stop may generate a pin, but multiple posts can be linked to each trip stop, and that’s the reason why clicking on a marker cannot make you go straight to a specific blog post.

In trip pages, clicking on a map marker makes you scroll down to the section of that page that highlights the trip stop. Would that work for you? Concerning your last question, should you still not be satisfied with your purchase, you can issue a refund request for the item.

Also, concerning your account on our platform, could you send us privately through our contact form here on ThemeForest the email you’ve used to register so that we can fix your account?

Have a nice day!

Hello! First off, LOVE this theme. It has everything I want! SO happy to have downloaded it. I’m just having one small issue.

I tried to open a support ticket on your site properly, but unfortunately, I haven’t received an email to register an account (I waited 15+ hours now… tried two different emails too just in case), so I’ll ask here!

I’ve been troubleshooting an issue with the “Trips”. I watched all of the 15 videos provided in Theme Help (awesome videos by the way!), and quickly solved the “Oops! Map does not show” by entering a Google API Key. I used the Wordpress plugin “API Key” to enter my key, and the map popped up. Yay! ... or so I thought. I made sure to enable every possible API through the Google developer console, but sadly, the autocomplete doesn’t work at all, and the “Add trip stop” times out (the screen stays white with a loading button for a looong time). I checked in the Javascript, and my error is “TypeError: google.maps.places is undefined” ... Okay, I can solve this! (Or so I thought)

After many hours, I came across what I thought to be the solution, and was quite excited. It looks like I need to enable The “Google Places API Web Service” as per this stack overflow discussion, as that’s what I appear to be missing (even though I thought I enabled every single possible one)... https://stackoverflow.com/questions/35801229/google-maps-autocomplete-not-working-for-some-reason

But alas. I cannot find this anywhere in my Google developer console, and am at a loss. I search for it and nothing of this specific name pops up.

I also found this FAQ: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/map-shows-on-page-but-autocomplete-still-not-works/ ... and made sure these other APIs are enabled within my Google developer console. Alas, still does not work, throws the same error.

(* I will also say that I tried to “verify” my website within the developer console with my domain provider (Bluehost, but initially bought it on Name.com), tried many different ways (adding text keys in DNS records on both places), and it doesn’t seem to want to verify. ? I’m not sure this is related at all, but I thought I’d mention it just in case.)

I’ve had no other issues at all that I can’t solve, and I’ve ran out of things to Google. Happy to provide temp login info / screenshots / whatever you need!

Please help! Thank you so much!

Hello there,

we have sent you an email with the new password for the support so you can open your ticket.

By the way for the Google Maps API you must use the field in the Theme options panel of our theme, not an external plugin.

Let us know if there’s more that we can do to help you.

Hi!

Oh wow. Well, I feel quite silly. I won’t be opening a support ticket as that completely fixed it! Thank you!

I don’t know how I overlooked that when I’ve been to theme options so many times! Yikes. Late night wordpress-ing yesterday did not prove so fruitful.

Thank you again for such a quick response!

You’re welcome ;)

Hi there, when do you update your theme to wordpress 4.9.6? At the moment there is a problem with the GDPR-checkbox at the comment section. Hope you understand that this is crucial for the european users. Thanks!

Thanks to you for bringing that up, we’ll take a look at it this coming week!

Hi there, an update fixing the form problem is on its way and should get published soon. Thanks again for reporting this issue!

Hello, My google maps in a trip does not work properly on mobile or tablet, but works on desktop fine. the map appears static, and not moveable, the trip stops are not clickable. Thanks

Hi there,

the map being not draggable is the intended behavior, since it would interfere with the dragging gesture on mobile devices. Concerning trip stops not being clickable, we’ll have a look at it ;) Thanks!

I wish to enable comments in some areas of my website www.alexchan.co.nz. I can do this successfully for “Pages” and “Trips”. But it doesn’t seem to work when I do it for “Posts”.

This is how I’m doing it: (1) In edit mode, I make sure “Screen Options” has “Discussion” ticked. (2) In edit mode, I ensure the “Discussion” section has “Allow comments” ticked.

Could you advise please what I’m doing wrong? Like I said, it works for “Pages” and “Trips” but not for “Posts”. Thanks.

Example: http://www.alexchan.co.nz/2014/03/13/camel-market/

Hi there,

would you mind opening a ticket on our support platform over at https://justevolve.it/support providing access credentials (they’re kept private) so that we can take a closer look? Thanks!

Hello, is it possible, in the posts, to put the layout builder content above the sharing options?

I’m really pleased with my purchase of your theme. It makes my site look really awesome and that’s only after one day of using it. I have a lot more content to bring in.

A question though:

On my trip pages (eg. http://www.alexchan.co.nz/trip/norfolk-island-via-borneo/), is it possible to display a thumbnail of the Featured Photo of each post?

The page below the map looks very bare and it would be nice to have a thumbnail of the Featured Photo from the level below.

Thanks! Alex

Hello there,

as you can see on our online demo for the “Summer 2014” trip http://demo.thbthemes.com/voyager/trip/summer-2014/ you have several options to style you trip stop, just edit the trip and apply a background image as for the “New York” stop, or show some images in a thumbnail view or with a mosaic. You can find all the options by clicking on the trip stop element.

Hi, we have a issue with some social icons as youtube, google+ or linkedin doesn’t appears, we added the url on the theme options -> socials but still doesn’t show.

Hi there,

could you please open a new ticket on our support platform at https://justevolve.it/support so that we can look better into the problem?

Thanks

Will this theme successfully install on Wordpress.com (rather than Wordpress.org)? Thanks.

Hi there,

nope, this theme is only for WordPress.org

Hi there, I’ve been using this theme since November, and overall I really love it! I do have one question though. The main reason that I bought the theme is to be able to use the trip feature to promote my articles on my travel blog. I’ve been trying to use it several times, but I’m always having issues. First of all, I wanted to get rid of the list of trip stops next to the blog posts linked to a trip stop. I tried hiding via CSS as you suggested another user .thb-trip-itinerary-nav { display: none; } It does remove the trip stops, but there still is a sidebar, only empty now. Is it possible to get rid of the trip stops and make sure that the blog post is displayed in full width (this is the layout that I’ve chosen in the theme option section of the blog post)?

Thank you!

Thank you. Only problem now is that this affects all posts and not only those that are linking to the trip. So also the posts that i do want the sidebar for. Is there any way to only remove the sidebar on posts linking to trips, or does it have to be done for all? Thank you

Hi there,

nope, unfortunately this is not possible using CSS.

Regards

No problem. I’ll make it work with the CSS you already sent me. Thank you so much for your help! (:

Hi, I just bought this template. I have a few questions:

1) I would like to display a map on the homepage to show which countries I have visited. Is that possible?

1.1) If it is possible it is possible to click on each marker and navigate to the individual trip pages e.g. I i click on the “New York” marker then let the user navigate to the “New York” trip page.

2) When I visit my website and navigate to a trip on my smartphone I’m not able to navigate on the map e.g. move the map around. Is it possible to make the map smartphone compatible?

Thank you

Hi there,

1, and 1.1 – unfortunately this is not possible but thanks for the suggestions.

2 – we will further investigate on this feature in order to improve the map usability on mobile devices.

Regards

Hi there,

are there any plans to include an option to add kml layers to the maps? It would be a really nice feature!

Thanks for feedback.

Hi there,

thanks for the suggestion, there aren’t plans for this feature but we definitely take a look into it.

Warning: key() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /homepages/6/d656489567/htdocs/wp-content/themes/voyager/framework/core/class.admin.php on line 301

Che succede?

Hi can I use this theme in a subdomain without problems, cf, menu?

Hi there,

yes it works.

Thanks. I have purchased the theme and I have a question regarding the use of images instead of text on the Theme Options.

Hi there,

you can open a ticket on our support platform at https://justevolve.it

Hi,

This is a really basic question but I am a complete Word Press rookie.

How can I write posts that link to trips but do not show up in the Blog section?

Thanks LD

Hi there,

if you build your blog using the “Blog” or “Blog masonry” page template you’ll be able to filter the categories and exclude a specific category, for example you can use a special category for the posts you don’t want to be displayed in blog and exclude this category in the blog page.

Let us know if there’s more that we can do to help you.

Great, thanks for this!

While I have your attention, is there anyway to make the top button on a drop down menu “not clickable” i.e just the drop down options can be clicked?

If you’re referring to the drop down navigation menu, then you might simply leave empty the URL field in the menu item editing screen on admin.

I am intending to buy this theme but want to know what documentation is available, I saw on the order page that this theme was “Well Documented” but that link takes me nowhere and I can’t find anywhere about documentation. Where can I find documentation to work with this theme? Thanks

Hi there,

thanks for your interest, you will find an html document inside the main package you will download from ThemeForest, then a series of videos are available on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tY-9qTsGEg&feature=youtu.be&list=PLRcW-as7a7gBh1zZu_LE1t6g7-1lWkC9F and if you have issues you can contact us through our support platform at https://justevolve.it

Hey! Great looking theme you have here! I have a pre-sale query though so if you can, kindly assist as soon as possible. 1. Does your theme support live geo tagging(as in when one posts from the location they’re at)? 2. The line I’m seeing on the map destinations…is it possible to change the color & where it begins e.t.c 3. Is it possible to have a homepage with just the map as full screen showing the different locations one has been to?

Hi there,

1) no 2) no 3) nope sorry

Let us know if there’s more that we can do to help you.

Hello. I have just purchased this theme and attempted to download it, but I am getting an error message “The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.”. Do you know how I resolve this? Thanks :)

Hi there,

you have to contact your host in order to increase the max_filesize in your php.ini. Let us know if you need more help, if you will encounter issues with the theme you can open a ticket on our support platform at https://justevolve.it
