Hi foreverpinetree, thanks for your stellar theme, I’ve been using it to showcase videos projects and the reception so far has been amazing. Unfortunately, ever since chrome’s latest policy update on autoplay my users have been having difficulties navigating the site and understanding how to watch videos. I’m wondering if there is a solution in the pipeline or if there is a workaround.

Hi, yes I noticed that the policy on autoplay has been changed, now only the videos which be set to mute can play automatically.
In you case, I think you should set the video NOT autoplay since your video has volume, then I will change the code to place the play button to center (not at the right-bottom corner), do you think this workaround is acceptable? If so, I will make an update in 3 days.
Hi foreverpinetree, yes I think that’s the solution here granted the play button is more visible than the current right bottom one. Is there currently an option to disable auto play in the theme?
By the way, I believe the new policy creates a bug where the site thinks it’s playing the video (right-bottom corner defaults at the pause icon) while in reality, the video is not playing. You then have to press 2 times (to toggle the play button) on it in order to play the video.

I’ve been reading through the Google developer post about the policy updates and there are some cleaver best practices for web developers suggestions being made.
- only show the play btn when it detects that the video is not auto playing - using muted autoplay and let the user chose to unmute

Hey man, thanks for the update. I noticed some small bugs; - Videos from vimeo won’t load unless the autoplay option is selected in the edit page. (Normal url links work fine.) - It’s great to have the play button at the middle of the video, the pause not that much since it’s always visible (I used a custom css visibility: hidden; on it for now)

How do I take out the shopping cart i on in the header nav section?
add the following CSS code to Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS:

Hi, currently only Default page, Blog posts and Portfolio projects can have comments.
For the Blog posts & Portfolio projects, you can open/close the comments in Appearance => Theme Options => Post & Share Setting.

You can upload video, but currently you can’t use gif since it will be converted to a static image, I will make gif work in next update.
Sorry, I made a mistake, now the theme does support GIF.

Looks like it is because of the site being built localhost. Once it is active online – google maps will load. I tested on my current live site.

After a clean install, the Theme Options page loads OK. This is conflicting with already existing content or data generated by previous theme.

Is it hard to change all the fonts? I really dont like the fonts, the rest is perfect.
You can select google fonts via font selector, also you can upload your custom fonts, it’s very convenient.
Cool! And at the home screen is there a way to put a widget (or whatever it’s called) showing latest posts? I would like to show my latest portfolio works.
Sorry, it doesn’t support this feature. But you can use shortcode to create a list for showing your projects, like this page http://3theme.com/tf004/light/corporate/

It might be caused by your browser had been zoom-in to larger than 100%. The algorithm of truning multiple rows to one row is according to the height of browser. In your case, the browser height is too small, so it falls back to one row.

. Zooming out solves the Problem. But for standard Browser view the letters are becoming too small. So I am afraid that many people are using the zoom and it will be shown as one Row. I would love a vertical Masonry Grid Portfolio Overview, and get detailed in the Gallery like you have it. Are you planning something like this?
We turn it to one row when browser has a small space is to ensure no content would be cropped. We think that people whether can see all content is very important.
Since the theme is designed as horizontal layout, so we don’t have a plan to make a vertical masonry grid.

There is an option for changing the amount of photos (items), recommended is 12.

thank you for this wonderful theme! I do have a question regarding a layout option that is only available for pages.
I do photograph sequences of images and the horiziontal list combined with a background image looks awesome.
My problem: I would like to do this for most projects, but I can’t get that layout for a blog post or portfolio. But only these are available for a blog like list/overview. So I would either have to find a solution to list pages as blogposts or use the page layout for a normal post/portfolio.
Not sure if I was able to explain that well. Would be grateful for any hint/tip.

Hi, if you didn’t install the WooCommerce plugin before importing, you would get that errors. You can install the plugin then try again. If you don’t want to use WooCommerce, just ignore the errors.
Hi. It took me some time to figure out how to scroll left and right on a track path; you just have to scroll up and down … But that doesn’t feel natural and I’m afraid visitors will struggle the same way I did. Is there a way to change scrolling in the natural directions? Thanks!

Hi, great theme. But, it doesn’t show two and three rows galleries and portfolios (just single rows). Am I missing something?
Hello, edit the page, you will see an option “Row” in the Page setting, now you can choose 1/2/3 rows. Note that, If you preview it on a very small screen (just like small mac laptop), it will fallback to 2 or 1 to ensure all content can be fully shown.
