Currently I’m having troubles to update this theme which I bought about 4 months ago. By the time of the purchase I was able to use the topbar menu and select “Edit with VisualComposer” since that’s the way I thought was intended by the theme author to give maintenance to the theme. I stopped doing my setup for a while and now I try to perform the same actions but VisualComposer complains about it, saying I should upgrade and pay extra $45 to be able to edit and configure the different pages.
Please advice how to proceed. Was my understanding what I paid by the the time of purchasing the theme didn’t have any hidden extra costs and I’m starting to feel this is the case which if have known before hand wouldn’t buy this theme.
Am I missing some setup step?

Visual composer plugin is pre-packaged and free with the theme, you can use its features without paying any extra cost however if you are trying to integrate any addon or any other premium feature provided by plugin author you might need to pay extra cost which will not go to theme author ( us ). We can guide you more if you can share us your site url on support@theironnetwork.org including screenshot and explanation for your requirement.

1. Yes it’s possible to add a video clip in slider, saral theme comes with pre-packaged revolution slider which provider you the feature to add video in slider. 2. Yes you can place social media links in widgets with theme provided widgets or with any plugins. 3. We have not checked Elementor on theme and hence can not confirm if it will work or not, as they mention on site its compatible with all wordpress themes so you can try and check if it break the site. You can also use any mega menu plugin. 4. You can reduce the slide count with shortcode options or from theme options.

We are not using any plugin for newsletter with theme but used mailchimp embedded code to place form on demo. you can do it same way or can use any newsletter plugin like mailchimp https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/

All the strings on site are translatable and can be controlled either with language translation function if you are using any one or you can have a language file for you language. Some popular plugins are loco translate and Polylang Theme Strings. Please try and let us know if it works for you.

This happens in several sections.
