Hello – great theme. With the WordPress 5.1.1 update though I am now getting an error message on posts:
Warning: Illegal string offset 'char-count' in /home/safeats1/public_html/wp-content/themes/ink/stag-customizer/stag-customizer.php on line 483
In posts, the Cover Opacity option defaults to 40 if any edits are made, and this error message then appears.
Appreciate any suggestions to resolve.

I just purchased this and put it on a brand new shiny server. And installed the theme and recommended plugins and I get a 500 redirect. It appears it happens when I activate the Stag Blocks. Any idea about a solution ?

The css code you sent is still not making the links on the page active. It’s only making the blog headings active. I really need to get this sorted out this weekend as my site goes live on monday.

I have a pre-purchase question: Is it possible to put a video on the front page as a header, or a page with OPT-in for subscription or e-mail list? Or perhaps both.
Maybe something as easy as using a plugin that goes on top of what is there now? a header/front page kind of thing.
And is it easy to install demo-content? Doesn’t say anything about it here.

This can be done easily if you’re using one of our widgetized pages. Or with help of the new Gutenberg editor.
Also, it’s really easy to install demo content, however, you’ll need setup frontpage and menus etc.

Also noticed that its messed up on images that include a caption. Without it it seems to align it ok.

Hi! I like this theme and have a few pre-purchase questions. For each of the points, please let me know whether a) the theme can do it out of the box, b) it’s easily implemented with custom CSS, or c) it’s difficult/impossible to do.

2. Yes, dropcap is offered with an optional recommended plugin, StagTools, which can add several features to your theme along with dropcap.
3. The latest article section is highly modified version of default WordPress widget, so it can’t be replicated without putting the same effort.
4. No, that’s again a custom feature that he had made for himself.
