Hi, a client have this theme, and i don’t know (and he doesn’t know) if he have the theme in the last version.
It’s running Tattoo Child, and i go to updates (to see if it is setting the purchase code), but i see this message: Unable to load the changelog
So that, i don’t know if only is possible to update from parent theme and is not possible from child theme and so that i don’t see the purchase code or a button to do the update of the theme.
Say me anything please to say to the client that claim the purchase code to the old developer or if he need to buy other time the theme.

Even with the child theme enabled you should be able to see if an update is available if your version is not too old.
Which version are you running? Do you have the WPBakery Page Builder && Wolf WPBakery Page Builder Extension plugin installed?
If not, there is strong chances that this is an old version.
You shouldn’t be able to see the purchase code from your dahsboard.
The only solution is to have access to the Themeforest account that was used to purchase the theme or ask to the person who purchase the theme the licence of the product.

The TatooPro version is 1.6.5 and it is running in a WordPress 4.7.15. I want to update all, but i think is not possible without the purchase code, so that i Will say to my client if he can obtain it from the old developer.

Hi, I updated the theme to 3.0.1 and running WP 5.2.
After update it gives me an error and the site will not load.
So WP sent me an email containing the errors (it’s in Dutch but you get the picture): Errordetails

Your update completely broke my site. I realize I don’t have support any longer, but this should not happen should it? It does not even load. Backend is accessible, but nothing loads on the frontend.

Please help. I rolled my theme back, but now obvious changes were made to the DB that broke parts of the site. At least it loads now, but only partially. Now where there used to be content I just see shortcodes in some sections.

Sorry for the trouble. The theme has been revamped almost completely.
No changes have been made to your content until you have run the TattooPress v3 Updater plugin. The error you encounter is due to an old version of WPBakery Page Builder.
I recommend uninstalling the WPBakery Page Builder plugin then re-install the new version from the Appearance > install plugins panel.
- Make sure that your WordPress installation is up-to-date
- Make sure that your server fulfills the minimum requirements
- Install new recommended plugins
- Update WPBakery Page Builder (formerly Visual Composer) and – - Activate the Wolf WPBakery Page Builder Extension plugin using your theme purchase code
Then run the TattooPress Version 3 updater to update your data.

Why are you deleting old themes and migrating the same functionalitties to this theme and doesn’t notify us that it is going obsolete?

I’m sorry that you feel this way. Ink Pro has been removed a couple of years ago now. As an author, I’m free to remove any theme from my portfolio. This doesn’t happen often, but if a theme doesn’t generate a minimum of sales as InkPro did, I can’t afford the time to maintain it for years. It may seem unfair for users who bought it but I don’t have much choice.
I recommended switching to TattoPro or Hares.

- Please ensure you are using the last versions of the theme and plugins.
- The WordPress 5.0 comes with Gutenberg editor. Please go to WP Admin > WP Bakery > Settings > General and disable the Gutenberg feature..
- If needed, install the Gutenberg plugin from WordPress repository (is a free plugin) and try again the above step..
- If still have troubles, install this third-party plugin.
- The WP Bakery is delivered under an extended license and doesn’t need any activation. Check for more details this article.

Its telling me VIRUS THREAT DETECTED when i download the files… whats up with that

Obviously, the theme package doesn’t contain any virus or trojan or anything else like this.
Sometimes, minified JS files can be interpreted as a virus.
I have a really good secturity plugin and it doesn’t flag any of the plugin or theme files.
Other users have also reported that several minified Slider Revolution JS files are detected as trojan by Windows Defender.
You can safely mark the files as safe in his antivirus settings.

Are you going to update the theme to support Gutenberg? Can I update to WordPress 5.0 or would I have a problem?

The theme will be updated today and will include the latest version of WPBakery Page Builder & Slider Revolution.
No problem with WP 5.0. But you must disable Gutenberg in the WPBakery settings in order to use the page builder. This option is available in the last plugin version.

Windows 10 doesn’t let me to download the newest version of your theme because it says that there’s a Trojan inside the revslider.zip. I’ve tried with different browsers and they all warm me about the same thing.

The revslider zip file in the one straight downloaded from Code Canyon so it is 100% safe. Sometimes, minified JS files may be identified as unsafe by some antivirus software.
