Is this theme coming with drupal 8.5.X in the download version when you purchase it or do you have to go through all the hoops to update to 8.5? I only ask because your other theme i purchased refuses to upgrade to 8.5 from 8.4 and i want to make sure this one comes with it at 8.5 from install already.

Yes, this theme already coming with Drupal 8.5 version. Our theme can’t refuse to upgrade to 8.5 because it simply doesn’t controll this process – this is related only to Drupal core and it’s modules. This process in Drupal 8 is harder then in Drupal 7 and all drupal comunity have problems here, but after reading some articles in the drupal.org, I’ve successfully updated all our themes to the latest versions.

Great template I loved its great tools that includes.
I see that they created it in August 2014 and they continue to maintain it even with some improvements, if I buy the template for how long I will be entitled to the updates?
I have read in the previous comments that if I install in new version mode the demo content is installed and there is a page equal to the preview, I will have access to a forum, videos, documentation or guides to modify the sections or content without to lose the design (it happened to me with another template that when modifying some icons were lost and the developer did not indicate me how to modify without it being lost, much less indicated me how to put them again), the documentation is always necessary to have good results .
In my consideration I would think about installing the template for Drupal 8 (because it is more current and with a view to the future), but under its recommendation which version is more stable and functional, for Drupal 7 or 8?

Currently we don’t have plans to end our theme support, so we will continue the support and free updates.
Yes, you can easily edit our content with the visual shortcodes without loosing the original structure and styles.
I also can suggest to use Drupal 8 because this is a future. Of course the Drupal 7 is more stable and functional, because this core version was used by drupal comunity for the longer time. But I didn’t recive any critical issues from our customers about this version of the drupal.
You can disable commerce and use ubercart, but in this case you will have the default Ubercart pages functionality and styles. Also some functionality will not work in our theme, like the cart in the menu, because it’s compatible with Commerce only.

Unfortunately we don’t have plans to add computer repair service demo.
The current theme “Progressive” contain almost all features which you described. If you wish to add some functionality then you can simply made this by enabling some modules (for example for Ticket submitting) or just use default Node content type functionality.

One more question. I have different two main domains (one for English and one for Urdu [RTL]) and sub domains (like support.mywebsit.net; forum.mywebsit.net) but all are on same server….. Is one license cover all these domains/subdomains?

I check very often the page https://themeforest.net/popular_item/by_category?category=cms-themes%2Fdrupal to check which theme are the most demanded and realize some how Porto always on the top of the list and faster than any other theme listed, but porto doesn’t support RTL on drupal 8.Now the tie between Progressive and Jango. -Progressive is old (but after 2015 it update twice.) -Jango is newer. -Which one is working better on slower system/internet. -Is there any way to speed up the theme (to disable some component/Features) -What is the main difference between Progressive and Jango.
Can you suggest me which one should I go?

Hi,
Usually the speed of the website is depended on how many and how big images used on the page. The CSS and JS files are minified and comporessed by drupal, so the enabled components almost doesn’t cause any speed problems. If you wish to speed up it, then you can enable the Drupal cache, setup the Image compression to the bigger value and don’t use some high-traffic content like embed video or mega sliders.
There is no such big difference in functionality between Jango and Progressive – this is 2 multipurpose theme, and you need choose which one is fits the most your requirements.

Now, The only thing I reluctant is speed, I have tested your demos from different systems/mobiles and from different locations. But it takes time to load and heavy during scrolling. Also test different online services to check speed and performance, but the result is not good. My website is support related that’s why speed is the important factor from customers view. Do you have any speed optimized demo?

You can enable the css and js aggregation on your website and it will load faster. Also I’ve already posted, the speed problem usually caused by images, video and plugins such mega slider, google maps and youtube video. Our main demo contain a lot of such elements – this is why it can be not so fast as other sites without this elements. If you don’t need then you can remove then and website will load faster.
The support rules is a global rules on the themeforest and they are the same for all items. You can post ticket on the forum within this free 6 months supports. You will be able to download updates for unlimited time (forever).

Where can I find the CSS that controls the color selectors in Short Code settings for the colored bars and graphs? I need to adjust the color values.
Which Drupal version are you using? Also, you can inspect the element with Chrome Dev Tool and find the required CSS file.

I’ve figured out where everything is. Most of those elements are pulling from style.css. Looks like nd_visualshortcodes.css file in that module is controlling what is displayed in the selection interface.

Notice: Undefined index: saved in nd_visualshortcodes_shortcode_saved() (line 99 of /sites/all/modules/nikadevs_cms/modules/nd_visualshortcodes/nd_visualshortcodes.module).
I already tried: uninstalling that module, replacing the module files, installing it again, clear caches, performed update.php,...

Is there a possibility to get a hand on the newer version of md slider and Shortcode? If I update shortcode via Backend manually, I get a WSCOD, only the logo shows up. The Version numbers are: Drupal V 7.59, shortcode V 7.x-2.22, Md Slider V 7.x-2.19

a few hours ago, I updated the core of my drupal 7.56 to Drupal 7.59 at katecheah.com.
after the upgrade, I put the site off maintenance mode and I am getting error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function _shortcode_tags() in …./sites/all/modules/nikadevs_cms/nikadevs_cms.module on line 445
So in the modules, I disabled the Nikadevs_Main Functions module and site came back but I can see all the short codes visible.
I have redownloaded all the modules and overridden them on the server. Also uploaded the new jango theme files. The server has been upgraded to ea-php7.1 too.
and i had a backup of the site and the DB before upgrading but restoring it on another server is still giving me the problems.
Please help, not sure what happened. thanks in advance.

I want to use language bar (block) in header in order to switch between languages , as you know in Drupal7 we use i18n module for multilingual support , when we use LTR language such as (en) Drupal recognize it and switch to LTR CSS and once we use RTL languages such as (fa/ar) Drupal recognize it and switch to RTL CSS.. my question one is : Before purchasing Does your theme support switch between languages by i18n module instead of gear in your Demo ? my question two is: I wan to create News page for my site , is there any news page ? There are no any security issues with our theme and our modules. The new versions of the contributed modules and core released almost each week, so we can’t create new versions of our theme so often. Once you installed the theme, then you should update all modules and core by yourself (for example with composer or drush). Thanks.
