Hi, I have purchased this theme and think its great. However, I’m actually combining two of the subthemes: 1. One page and 2. Ecommerce. Basically, I want the main site to have the one page layout except for the actual store. My question is that I have implemented the e-commerce, thinking that it would be easier to change the front page into one long scroll (except for the actual store) than vice versa. But when I create a new Content Type, configure it in views, add it to the Home Page in the Content Wide region in blocks, it doesn’t show on the front page. Please advise.
Creating a one page menu layout can be easily reproduced for the commerce templates. Review the documentation file on how to configure one page menu
Yes, I did that. The blocks (including the Contact Form Block in the footer) are not showing. Only the ones that show are customized blocks and view blocks specific to the ecommerce site show. None of the custom blocks I create show and no view blocks I create show, regardless of being “promoted to the front”. I’ve even created a “basic page” home page like the onepage template to no avail. And I’ve used the eccommerce “frontpage” in views which uses “promote to frontpage” and “sticky to the top” filters to no avail. In blocks layout I’ve selected “Home Page” for block visibility and I’ve tried designating <front> to the “Pages” restricted selection. I’ve now resorted to creating my own node template twig files, which I didn’t want to, but they are working. I can’t, however, add the Contact Form Block to the footer like the OnePage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The menu scrolls to the anchor IDs are working fine.
You should probably provide a link to the site to allow for better understanding of the issue
Just installed the theme but if aggregation is enabled -Aggregate CSS files and -Aggregate JavaScript files the following error message appears in console and site breaks
Refused to execute script from ‘https://www.xxxx/xxxx/' because its MIME type (‘text/html’) is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.

Need support on this. There’s a header image of a keyboard that doesn’t have an “Edit” dialogue in the gallery links of the theme. Here’s an example: http://alyssaggarcia.com/gallery/bitter-end-ny How can I change the keyboard image to something else?
You can change the title background style as well as image in the admin theme settings page.
But if you want to change the default image of the title background manually, you can simply replace the image in themes/stem/assets/images
So happy with the theme and the support. The theme is very well thought out with modern features like single page architecture and social media. It looks great on a phone too. The support staff helped me troubleshoot a few things in getting it working on hostgator. Proud to announce our 1st finished site using this theme for our singer-songwriter daugther, an emerging artist with some good prospects : http://alyssaggarcia.com. If you are a performing artist, this theme would really show off what you have to offer really well.
For the support guys – what can I do to add additional social media links to the top menu nav pop up and the bottom of the site icon link display? For artists, bandsintown and reverbnation and especially soundcloud are additional social media sites that would be useful to add.
Other social media links can be defined in the admin theme settings page.
But if you want more, you can create it manually. To do that, you will need to define the new link in stem.theme file.
Then you print the variable in stem/templates/layout/social-link.html.twig
There seems to be a problem with breadcrumbs being cached.
1) Navigate to About page. Breadcrumbs shown as “Home . About” (correct).
2) Navigate to FAQ page. Breadcrumbs still shown as “Home . About” (incorrect).
3) Flush cache. Breadcrumbs now shown as “Home . FAQ” (correct).
Also, the breadcrumb trail doesn’t reflect the full path or menu hierarchy. (Only “Home” and the page title.)
Any update on this issue? (It’s been more than 10 business days now.)
I believe this is a Drupal caching or server caching issue, rather than the theme issue
I haven’t experienced it with any other theme, so it doesn’t seem to be either a server or core Drupal issue. But since I didn’t hear back, I resolved the issue by commenting out the theme’s breadcrumb function, and installing Easy Breadcrumb.
Also, on the theme only installation. I followed the instructions an though everything looks good, I don’t see all the content types listed in the docs. I enabled all the modules listed under the “HUGE” category. Are there additional modules I need to get the effects of the OnePage app? Maybe if I could get the full install working, I could see for myself.

I’ve installed this on an existing site with Drupal 8.5.5 and it works fine. I’ve also installed the Full install so I could see how to configure my existing site like the OnePage demo. I follow the steps but the site comes up poorly formatted looking nothing like the http://stem.hugestem.com/onepage. Maybe I am not understanding. What exactly do I do here “Go through the Drupal configuration found in /admin/config options and update all the necessary information to reflect your website. Also be sure to visit /admin/config/media/file-system and ensure the Temporary Directory is set.”? Maybe that is the part I am missing.

It seems that the first time that the first slide for a Slider is displayed, it does not animate. Is it possible to override this?
Purchased Stem today, and the installation went fine. However, I was disappointed to find that the parallax effect stops working if I add a “Title Background Image” to the node. Surely it needs to work on uploaded images too, or we’re stuck with one hard-coded background for all titles…?

If i upload a “Title Background Image” (even a copy of the default image, i.e. the hands and keyboard) it’s just displayed as a static, cropped image. (Happy to send you a link to an example if that helps.)
I have seen what is causing the issue. As a temporary fix, add this style for the ID #page-title.title-parallax to your custom.css file:
=>#page-title.title-parallax {
background-attachment: fixed;background-size: cover;background-position: 0 0;}

I’m a few days into implementation and everything is going great. A few questions:
1. How is the slider getting the height? I have added new images, but every so often the text appears and the images don’t. When I view code I see that the max height is showing as 0. I believe that is coming from line 172 of stem.js. It feels like the slider can’t find the image height. This is independent of what browser I’m using

On issue #1, I’m still seeing it as a problem on a fresh install of the default theme here: http://lisa-staging.com (I had to move on and have removed it from the header in the link above – http://seeher-staging.com/home – am using views slideshow in its place there).
On issue #3, there seems to be a Symfony conflict when I try to upgrade to 8.5. The theme settings under Appearance become unusable and give me a white screen whenever I try to edit.
Would still love a solve for #2 as well.
The update to 8.5 will be released soon
To remove the all portfolio shuffle, the possible fix at the moment will be to manually remove it in the portfolio module
You need to modify:
modules/portfolio/templates/views-view-portfolio.html.twig
and comment out line 31-33

I’ve had many years experience with Drupal 7, but this is the first Drupal 8 site I’ve used. The theme is really nice, but I experiencing a few strange issues and I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, or if I just need to clear a new cache I haven’t seen before…
One example is if I edit the ‘About’ section. I can change the text and layout and then save, but I still see the original text. When I go back in to edit it I can see my new content, so I am editing the correct section and it is saving. I tried flushing the cache but it was the same.
Any ideas? It’s almost as if there is an aggressive caching with Drupal 8 that needs to be turned off or flushed.

Hi. In the small screen sizes, for the single page version, the side menu does not close after you click on a menu item. In stead you need to click the X button after you select an item. This is not typical behaviour. Can this be fixed?

I am experiencing a weird problem. There is a specific blog post, which contains fairly simple body content. However, this content seems to break JS of the frontend page. I am using the single page.

Hi, the problematic blog post is currently unpublished, thats why you cannot see the problem. If you make the post public you will see that the whole frontend is broken
I believe you have a backup of the site. Because the site has changed since the last time I checked, and the admin menu is all gone. So can you reset the database to how it was as at when you created the initial issue and sent me a private message with the new credentials

I have fixed the issue for you. It was caused by one of the strong tag in the body field.
