Hello! I’m considering purchasing this theme, but I have a couple of questions: 1) On the Shop layout page (full width), is it possible to display 4 or 5 products per row instead of only 3 products? I understand that a plugin installation may be required (Custom Posts Per Page plugin), but I’m a bit wary as this particular plugin has not been updated in the past 4 years and hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. Please advise. 2) Can the theme’s highlight colours and overall colour combination be changed? Thank you!

Happy to hear you are interested in purchasing Primrose. Here is the answers to your questions:
1. Currently the theme only supports up to 4 columns for products grid. So yes you can change it to 4 products in a row. As for the Custom Posts Per Page plugin. I think it’s fine to use because WordPress doesn’t make any changes to its query logic, so the plugin would still work well.
2. Sure, you can change the soft brown colored as shown in the demo into any color you wish.

Hi I have a multi language website (english | french | russian | hebrew)
When I switch to hebrew the slider not works correctly. It show only the middle slide when the number of slides is odd. For exemple in my case I have 3 slides so only the second slide is displayed.
I use WPML to manage langages. How can I fix it ? Please I really need to fix this problem as soon as possible ! Thanks
Hi, did you make sure that the hebrew version has the same content compared to other versions? There are chances that the slider on hebrew version contains less than 3 slides.
Yeah its the same page and same number of slides. The difference is the page is RTLed and texts on slides is in hebrew. I also test with text in english and the problem is the same 
Hmm sound weird. Could you try to contact WPML support? We belive that this is not theme related issue.

We don’t have an example with those addons installed, but yes, the theme should work fine with any addon. The theme only polish the styles of WooCommerce elements, the features remain as native, so the addons should work fine.
Hey, the theme looks very nice but i have one questions… i want to make a site with variable products that have different color options and sizes. I want to make a page like this: http://singlestroke.io/demo/primrose-wp/product/geometric-jewelry-box/ – i know that for variable product i can put a custom image that will appear when i sellect it to buy. With your theme, the main photo will change when i select an option? Also, when i put color options to choose from, like in your demo, can they be not like a dropdown but like in this page http://plugins.openswatch.com/openswatch/product/sample-colorswatch-product/ ?

Thanks for interested in Primrose. The variant image doesn’t support with the slider gallery model. It only supports on default WooCommerce gallery model. One of the example of default WooCommerce gallery is http://singlestroke.io/demo/primrose-wp/product/mini-icosidodecahedron-candle-holder-ring-bearer-box/.
About the swatch, you can use 3rd party plugin. There are both free and paid plugin available, I will leave it to you to decide which works best for you.

Hi! Very nice, simple theme! I´m a beginner and have a few (probably stupid :)) questions: 1. Can grid in Home – Grid be used for categories? 2. Can the size of images in the grid (Home) be altered – e.g the biggest image on top made more narrow? 3. Are blog, star rating/reviews and SKU optional? If not, can these be removed easy using code? 1. Yes, you can set each grid item link and text to your likes. 2. And yes, you can also set each grid item size including the top image. 3. Yes it’s optional, you can disable reviews, leave SKU to blank, and even disable blog page. You don’t need to code, all is available through options.
I bought Primrose and even bought the extended support after the support period ran out but now that I need it, it’s expired again. I don’t need support enough to justify the expense over and over again every time I want to ask a single question. Please answer me here.
I’m having an issue with Primrose and Woocommerce’s default product reviews The docs at: https://woocommerce.com/2017/04/reviews-woocommerce-best-practices/ say: “Reviews are enabled by default in WooCommerce, but you may occasionally run into an extension or theme that changes how they appear (or hides them entirely!) on your product pages. If your reviews are being negatively altered by your theme, you may want to consider switching to a different theme. If this isn’t an option, you’ll need to dive into the code and change them to your liking.”
I can’t find an option anywhere to get them to show up for my products yet I see them in Primrose’s live demo. How do I turn on reviews? All the Woocommerce settings for “Product ratings” are checked/on.

Hi rrrachel, looks when you added products, the review option is still disabled, so all your products is set to not enable reviews.
You can now enable reviews on all products by enabling it on each product editor > Product Data > Advanced > Enable reviews. I have tried it on one product here: https://foxandfancy.com/product/succulent-recipe-cards-set-of-10/

Hi, Could you tell me what the optimal ratio is for a slider image using the ‘image slider’ demo? I am having trouble working out what ratio looks best because the slider seems to change proportions and crop the image if you resize your browser window or view it on a different device. Also, could you tell me what the recommended pixel width is for slider images using the ‘image slider’?

Hi, the slide image works as a background. So it would be cropped following the browser window size.
The recommended ratio for the image is landscape image with the main focus on the center / middle part. As for the width, you can use image with width between 1280px and 1600px. Using too large image would make your site a bit slower.
Hi, thanks for your reply. After trying out various images, I’ve gone back to using the fixed size classic image slider.
Do you know what image ratio works best for this if you have the Primrose parallax scrolling effect enabled? At the moment I’m seeing a band of grey at the bottom of the slider when I scroll up because there isn’t enough image for the parallax scrolling effect to work.
I’ve also noticed that when you enable parallax scrolling and view it on a mobile, the button text overlaps other parts of the page when you scroll up and down. Is there a way of fixing this do you know?

For parallax scrolling, you can try images that has height = 1.5 x slider height.
About the mobile parallax scrolling, can you give us a screenshot?

I’ve since realised that the button text only appears to overlap the page because the height of my image isn’t big enough to fill up the area created by the parallax scrolling. I think it will work if I have a bigger image.

The instagram widget seems to return error. There are images that has been deleted from your instagram feed, but the instagram widget plugin still has cache of it.
Unfortunately there is no way from the plugin to reset / flush the cache. It’s totally under background. You can try disable the plugin and reactivate it again. Let’s see if it clears the cache.

Hi, I just tried your homepage, the loading time looks fine to me. Although the instagram widget is still showing an error.
If the instagram widget still bothers you, the plugin author recommend a way to delete the widget cache, he said:
“The widget is cached as a transient, you can clean your transients with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/"
You can try the plugin. But you need to do it with caution.

Yes, the description you input on each category would appear under the category title.
Just posting an odd error here, hope you guys can fix this in a next update. There’s a problem in 1.3.10 with the simple icons, they do not show on some browsers and on certain screen sizes. For instance, they do not show at all in Mozilla and do not show via Chrome on mobile. I had to revert to 1.3.4.

Is there anyway to make the shop page full width? There seems to be a huge padding even when the option is set to full width.I’m actually trying to replace all of my page titles with full width image-based banners. Also, is there anyway to turn off page titles per page?
The Full Width layout means that your content would have 100% container width and no sidebar would be shown. If you want your content to be 100% of the page width, you need to use custom CSS.
For the page title, you can also hide it via custom CSS and then put your banner from the page editor.
Before i buy this theme, just wondering if it has a feature when you go into the Shop page and hover over over the image, can this change to a different image altogether or have a more dramatic change? thank you.

Hi, how did you update the plugin? What version did you download from ThemeForest?
I update the plugin via the plugin manager in Wordpress. There was a notification that there was an update for the plugin, so I clicked it, it automatically updated it and that’s when I received the error message.
I’ve had the theme installed for over a year and from what I can see, I have version 1.3.9
