Hello: I going to update my theme and have not done this since version 2.6. When i goto the the new update the file name is now “renovation-progression” This will not update to the new version with a different name then “renovation”.
What do i need to do to update this theme?

HI, I updated from a relatively old installation. Well in fact I installed the theme alongside the original one so I can flip back. On the new theme, the services categories does not show and so a lot of the work I did cannot be used. So on the original theme you had services, portfoloio etc. When activating the new theme those options dissapear. Where am I going wrong?

Is there a way to update the theme without losing the pages and the settings I have? Because I tried to just activate the theme with the new changes and everything breaks – I have no menu, no logo, no front page no banners with revolution slider etc.

Before I purchase this theme. I want to know if I can create multiple filters on the folio page and sort them? Example. I have a company that does construction. I would like to take a project with the type of construction and the location. Then on the folio page give the option for people to select a location or select the construction type. Can this be done?

You can add as many or as few sorting categories as you want. You can also have an unlimited number of portfolio pages. In terms of sorting via two filters like location & type at the same time, that is not possible. We only have the ability to sort one group of categories at a time.

Let me explain this a litter better. I need to create a photo gallery for each job we do.Each gallery I need to be able to take it with the location of the job and the type of job it is. Then I need a page that will pull all of those galleries on one page and have 2 filters our customers can sort from. By location and by job type. We currently have this on our current site. but the plugin we are using is very old and the developer no longer supports it. It doesn’t work in Wordpress 5, so part of the reason we are looking to do a new site.

Sorry but we do not have support for R-T-L, nor do we plan on adding support for this. As we do not speak an R-T-L language, we cannot add-in support for this. If you wanted to add RTL, it would require adding custom CSS for this direction. After upgrading 3.0 -> 3.1 all my Services and Testimonials pages are gone from dashboard. Rollback make them avaliable again. How can I fix that?
The latest version of the theme adds a lot of new functionality. If you want to upgrade to that version, make sure to install the recommended plugins and you will be good to go. We no longer have the services and testimonials post types as those are now created via the page builder. I just got a customer’s site: http://lescompagnonsdubois.ch who used your theme.
I can see the front office but when I connect to the back office with the credentials, I get this error message:
“Error thrown [] operator not supported for strings”
I didn’t buy the theme myself, so I cannot open a ticket on the website supporting your theme.

Even after updating the theme to the latest version, the google maps option does not appear.

Hi! I failed to install the theme. I downloaded the ‘installable Wordpress file only’ (‘themforest-...-wordpress-theme.zip’), selected the file in my dashboard as a new theme. After pressing the ‘install’ button an error like ‘the link you followed has expired’ appears. Perhaps this is a silly question, it’s the first time I work with Wordpress, but it seems my file doesn’t work? I tried with a re-download, too. Same result. Thanks!
