i use the theme and it works great. the post slide 1 which we use only retrieves a fixed size photo (reasonably small) and enlarges it. making the photos blurry where I can adjust that he here the full size photo load so that this again sharp pictures

Hi, Elementor works on page not on header and footer area. You will get option on News247 Theme option to upload header banner.

Please, check the doc link. If you want to WP Mega Menu then activate it to follow doc or If you don’t want to use WP Mega Menu then disable it from plugin area. So, that default menu will work.
No I am talking about responsiveness on the mobile. I got all my menus set already but I need the entire page to be mobile responsive

All is ready. I have decision. Mobile menu work.I deleted the plugin. I also deleted the rows from the corresponding table in the database and then I installed everything again.
To find the issue on your site you can enable the admin access. Hope you will use WP Mega Menu plugin. There can be various issue. Regards.
