Hi there guys, I need a booking system for airport transfers, these are my questions if any of this request are possible to do.
1) Do you sell your booking plugin separately from the theme ? If I purchase your theme, can I use your booking form with another theme ?
2) User may select 3 different services (1 Airport – Hotel, 2 Hotel – Airport and 3 Airport – Airport)
3) Set define but different pickup time for each service
4) When selecting pick-up / drop-off, instead a list of destinations, an autocomplete field ?
5) Service will be only available for time periods, lets say, only at 3pm, 4pm and 5pm each day. For each hour there will be only 8 seats available. So 1st user booked at 4pm 4 seats, and 2nd user booked at 4pm the remaining seats, so at that time there will be no more available spots to book at that time.
7) Instead of selecting a car model, could it be possible to display the time periods with available seats depending on how many people were selected by the user
8 ) Include additional info like flight #, arrival/departure time.

1.) No, unfortunately the booking plugin is intertwined with the theme, and I don’t think it would just work outofthebox with a separate theme.
2) You create availabilities based on Destination from, Destination to, and Transport type, so you can create as many as you want. A to B, B to A, Any to B, B to Any, Any to Any etc.
3) You can set your availabilities to be at a set time of day, say at 12:00, or to be every X minutes, so every 30 minutes for example, every day.
4) No autocomplete feature is available at this time.
5) You would create 3 separate daily availabilities, one at 3pm, another at 4pm and another at 5pm. Each transport type has a limited number of seats, and once the seats sell out for that availability, that’s it.
7) Not sure I understand this one, could you please clarify?
You can edit the Booking form in Theme options -> Booking form and add extra fields.

Hi there, thanks for your reply, We’ve already purchased the theme. I think I managed to make it work as our need. Only have two questions.
1. How hard is to change the destination list with an autocomplete field. We have a big list of hotels and it’s tedious to scroll and scroll to find a hotel, this one is our top priority.
2. About the booking form with extra fields. We have a list of avaible flights. Could it be possible to add a selection field where the flight can be selected ? In case it cant be done, an extra plugin can be used for that matter ?

In the Transfer Availability Entry, could it be possible to select a parent destination ?
As I said I have a big list of hotels, and I need to make availabilities from airport to (hotels) in this case “any” and also availabilities from airport to another airport, however “any” also takes other airports as part of it.
When I made the search airport to airport, results are airport to airport as well as airport to “any” duplicating the results.
Don’t know if I made myself clear. I could send some screens to explain better.

1. You would have to custom code an autocomplete field. The files to change would be:
wp-content\plugins\transfers-plugin\includes\widgets\widget-advanced-search.php wp-content\plugins\transfers-plugin\js\search.js
2. Unfortunately this is something else you would have to custom code by editing wp-content\plugins\transfers-plugin\includes\plugin_of_custom.php file and adding support for a select field.
3. Allowing a parent selection for availability entry is something we hope to implement in the near future.

I’ve make the autocomplete work, however, when I make a search, no results are given because it search by the destination title instead of the destination id

You would have to look at the custom-search-results.php and the call that is made to $bookyourtravel_accommodation_helper->list_locations
You would have to make changes in includes/post_types/class-accommodation-helper.php and modify the list_accommodations function to take location title instead of location_id and do its searching.

I appologise, you are correct. You would need to look at page-advanced-search.php template and this line:
$search_results = $transfers_plugin_post_types->list_available_transfers($departure_date, $destination1_from_id, $destination1_to_id, $people);
Which in turn calls wp-content/plugins/transfers-plugin/includes/plugin_post_types.php

No, there is no feature to allow vendors to signup and sell their services with the theme.

You would have to custom code the feature yourself. We do hope to implement something like that in the distant future, but nothing in the near future.

I am interested in purchasing this theme, however there is one option which is putting me off at the moment.
I would like to know if the theme has support to remove the ‘time’ selector and add a drop down listing of the available times instead,
I sell tickets for Speedboat transfers between islands and there are only two running per day so i would prefer to show the available times, rather than force users to search through to find a time that the service runs.

Our theme uses it’s own internal booking system if you enable our own custom post types. You can use the theme without the custom post types and booking system however, that would also disable the transport types etc.

I downloaded the latest version and the problem remains the same. it appears sometimes: with name Transfers_Product, with picture blank, default and price to zero, it has a solution? First an erros message that said “transfers product” was not for sale or something similar. Then returns to appears Transfer product, with default photo and zero price. Transfer product is virtual and should not appear on the cart.

I’ve a question – rent car theme based on time of booking or not? I.e. for example if I book the car for 2 days it costs 100 euro (1 day 50 euro), for 4 days it cost 125 euro (1 day 31,25 euro, not 50 euro). Is it works like this in rent car theme or not?
I.e. I can set from 23 may to 30 may it cost 100 euro, but I need general i.e. from 1 to 2 days it cost 50 euro/day, from 3 days to 7 days it cost 40 euro/day etc. Then the person try to check days, the difference between two days multiplicate on range of price will be total price.

I bought the theme a few months ago, I had not installed until now (that is why I do not agree with the expiration date of the support envato imposed), I would like my drivers to see information from the bookings, I have seen some themes and plugins synchronize with google calendar or have the option to create special accounts of drivers with their assignment information panel.
To be clearer. a) Is there a way to synchronize with google calendar? b) Have you thought about adding the functionality of assigning drivers to bookings and that there are special driver accounts so they can see their trips?

Does theme have following functionality ( for self drive car rentals services with minimum 2 days booking ) :
Price Per Day with minimum 2 Days Booking where booking day count starts from 8am to next day 8am, extra full day charge for any delay in returning the car beyond 8am.
Also, if pickup and delivery to different location than Car Hub, additional fixed charge to be added from Hub to location A, location B, location C etc.

The theme allows you to sell transfers from location A to location B with specified transport types. There can be unlimited locations and unlimited transport types.
Each transfer availability must be explicitly created. Transfer availabilities can be made to repeat daily at specific times, or every X minutes.
You can create an availability that happens only at 8:00 am every day.
There are no minimum days or maximum days restrictions however.
I am getting this error when using the updated version 1.19 of this theme. Error received below.

Hello,
this error means that your ftp client has jumbled php files. To prevent this in the future, you must always upload php files in Binary transfer mode (any code files, not just our theme).
To fix this, if for example using FileZilla, please go to Transfers > Transfer Mode > select Binary and then upload all theme files again.

I followed that instruction and the error is still coming up when I try to activate the transfers plugin.
You have to reupload the entire theme and also make sure you delete the plugin and reinstall the plugin files as well.

1. We are building a website that will offer : Fastboat Transportation From multiple departure points to multiple destinations points. And we will also offer Tours and Activites.
Is the theme also relevant to sell Activities and Tours (Rafting, Cycling, Hiking..) or it is only for transportation ?
Can we create multiple Search forms ? Because the search would be different for transportation Vs Tours/Activites
2. To what extent can we customize the search form ? For passengers can we differenciate Adults/Kids/Infants and have different prices for each ? Can we delete the Time selection and only keep the Date selection in the search form?
And for Tour/Activites can we customize the form, delete the Departure/Destination fields and isntead have a list of activites ?

you can definitely use the theme for offering transportation.
Please note that the search form comes as it is and cannot be modified from the admin panel. It also cannot be “duplicated”. Available pricing options are pricing per passenger and/or pricing per vehicle (set for every individual transfer).
However, we do have customers who offer transportation as well as other services and use the Transfers theme. This is how:
a) if your tours and activities are offered alongside of each transfer you could show them as extra items, ie. additional available purchases during the actual booking process.
b) if your tours and activities are offered individually and/or separately you can use the default WooCommerce shop functionality, from where the users can view and select them and add them to the cart, with or without a purchased transfer.
There is also a detailed user guide available where you can find more information about how the theme works.

it depends on your exact requirements. If you are looking for a theme that allows your partners to submit their vehicles and rent them on a daily basis, I would actually recommend the Book Your Travel theme.

You appear to have made modifications to your page and now I cannot find your search results page.
However, please check that your availabilities are set to be repeated every X minutes with a value set for X in your availabilities table if you want your transfers to be available multiple times of day.

Does the page you are trying to access exist? Also, you can try flushing your permalinks. To do so, go to Settings > Permalinks and hit save button. Then try to access the page again.
