I’m trying to do two things. The background “goarch image” (featured image) is very very dark and grey’d out. Can I get the opacity to be more defined? I can’t find where in the css that black overlay or the opacity is controlled.
And can I add an image to the far left bar on the home page, where the vertical-panel is located? Where in the theme files is that located?

Slider – having issues with the position of the images
Blog Spots / Labels – can we reduce the size of these
Images – can we increase the size of the images in the projects pages ?
I would greatly appreciate your help as these are the three tweaks required before launching the site.
