Hi Edge-Themes, please advise on an ETA for and update for this theme. There are so many incompatibility issues because of PHP and Wordpress updates on current versions. Specifically WPBakery and RevSlider.
I really don’t want to have to buy a new theme because of these issues.
I wanted to add WooCommerce but for that I need a newer PHP version which does not seem to support the current theme files as they are.

Please check if you have updated the theme and its plugins to the latest version listed in change log.
The current version of the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress and with PHP 8.0.
Bundled plugins do get updated with the theme, however, in case you need immediate update of any bundled plugin you can contact us through this email (just add your purchase code in the mail) and our support agents will provide you with latest version.

Maybe I am being daft. We are on WP 6.6.2 and on PHP 8.2

The theme hasn’t been fully tested yet with PHP 8.2 so we recommend using PHP 8.0.

Ok, it doesn’t seem to work. I tested it on various PHP versions and it breaks at 7.4. I am not a developer, do I need to aquire an alternative theme?

At the moment we don’t have ETA when the update will come out, however you will be notified via email when the new update is online on ThemeForest.
If you are running latest WordPress version, please try using this plugin as a temporary solution if you run into issues with widgets on the latest WordPress version.
Newer WordPress versions introduced block based widgets feature, so we do recommend using this plugin which reverts widgets back to classic as a temporary solution until we add compatibility with block based widgets.

Hi, I would like to buy this template for a client of mine but I need some information: – is the slider revolution plugin included (in bundle)? – is the wpbakery plugin included (in bundle)? – is WordPress 5.8.1 compatible with the wordpress version released? – is it compatible with a php 7.4+ server version? – is it compatible with a database version 5.7? this information is necessary and important for us as our server hosting is configured in this way and if your template is not updated to be usable with these requirements it is not good. is there compatibility with WPML? 1) Both WPBakery and Slider Revolution plugins come bundled with the theme.
2) We still didn’t include compatibility with the latest version of WordPress. It would be best to wait until we release an official update, but you can also try using Classic Widgets plugin as a temporary solution if you run into issues with widgets on the latest WordPress version.
3) This theme is compatible with PHP 7 and database version 5.7.
4) Yes, it’s WPML compatible. Take a look at this article on how to create a multi-language website.

Please update the code or at least confirm that it is compatible to new wordpress and woocommerce latest version. I do not want to change to a new theme.

Due to safety measures related to COVID-19 the updating of our themes is a bit delayed but please note that we are working really hard on this and that we are constantly working on updating all our themes, however, we can say that the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress as well as it is compatible with the latest WooCommerce as well. You will get this message though but it will not affect the performance of the theme as well as it will be added in the theme’s changelog once the update is out.
At the moment we don’t have any ETA when this update will come out. You will for sure be notified when the theme update is out. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

For the mobile home page with product display, can I display product as 2 columns? Right now it default to 1 column only.

It is displayed in one column as it is by default set to be like this. Unfortunately you do not have an option to change this within the themes option however it can possibly be achieved with some custom CSS.

I have purchase Wpbakery plugin for my wordpress, but I realise there are a lot of missing item, and after communicating with Wpbakery, they mentioned that I will need to contact you to get rid of the customisation code used in theme to disable the standard plugin elements (especially vc_remove_element), to get them back. So is there anyway to do it?

The plugins that you got after the purchase are called bundled and we, as a theme authors, have purchased an extended licence for them. That means you don’t have to activate them and they’ll work for you regardless of that.
Bundled plugins have extended licence purchased for them, which means you won’t have access to plugin’s predefined templates. For that you’d need to purchase a standalone plugin.

1. A new theme update is released a few day ago, so this theme is now compatible with the latest version of Wordpress. Also, we’ve included the latest versions of all bundled plugins (WPBakery, Revolutio Slider, WooCommerce). 2. This is due to the typing effect. The text that has been inserted in the video has more words than it can fit in one line, so this can be solved by reducing the amount of text or by reducing the font size of the text on this video. Or min height could be added for this row so this jumping affect will be sorted out.
