Can job listing have more filter options? with more taxanomy? Can I change the word Jobs to something else like Courses? Apply for courses etc… Thank you.

Hello there,

Thank you for your interest in our theme. Yes, you can add as many as taxonomies but it would take custom coding. Regarding changing jobs to courses, it is possible via custom coding however I am not sure if it would break anything as there may be some plugins that depend on the job slug.

Hope this clarifies. Let us know if you have any other questions or need further help with the theme.

Thanks, Ibrahim

How do I add custom coding for extra filters on job filters? Please guide me as I would like to purchase this theme for university courses. Thank you

Hello again,

I am not sure how university courses work and their attributes are. Here is a general instruction about adding taxonomy : https://generatewp.com/taxonomy/

If you are not familiar with custom WP code, I do not recommend this theme as it would be very complicated. If you have a WP developer, then you can extend the possibilities.

Hope this clarifies. Let us know if you have any other questions or need further help with the theme.

Thanks, Ibrahim

why my debit card not accepted…..indian debit card

Hi,

Do you plan to implement social login?

Thnk you!

Hello there,

Thank you for your interest in our theme. Social login is best implemented via custom plugins like JetPack. The theme does have social login in-built.

As regards GDPR, the theme does not store any data. It is stored by WP Job Manager Plugin and WordPress both are GDPR complaint.

Hope this answers your question. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks, Ibrahim

Hi,

I have tried jetpack, but it seems that it does not have social login feature.

Can you recommend some documentations?

Hello again,

We do not have any specific recommendations. Have you tried this one ? https://wordpress.org/plugins/oa-social-login/ Let us know if you are facing any compatibility issues.

Thanks, Ibrahim

Hello. What are all the plugins required to get the portal fully functional? also do you offer installation and customization services?

Hello there,

Thank you for your interest in our theme. The theme is built for WP Job Manager.

We also recommend few other plugins for testimonials, etc. With all the included plugins you can create a job portal like this : https://demo2.madrasthemes.com/jobhunt-without-core-addon-bundle/

There is also WP Job Manager core bundle which provides additional features like Resume Manager, Paid Listings, etc. This is a premium plugin and you’ll have all the features listed here : https://docs.madrasthemes.com/jobhunt/

On top of these you can also use any of the add-ons available in WP JM website.

Regarding installation, it is outside of support scope. However we offer one-time installation free of charge for all our customers.

Regarding customisations, unfortunately we are unavailable for custom changes. https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy

Hope this answers your questions. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks, Ibrahim

I’ve been searching and searching a way to change the word “specialisms” to “categories”. Specialisms isn’t a word we use here in the United States. I tried to use a search/replace plugin but that’s not working. I even tried a custom php function to replace the string “All specialisms” with “All categories”. Can you tell me where I can find this in the PHP files so I can change it? Or offer me another solution? Thanks so much!

Hello there,

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. Please change text “Specialisms” from home page options. Here the screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OlODGWcEoNBnuVbg3ugXlFDrJFcbQ-RT/view

Hi,

Isn’t this theme buddypress compatible? it would be nice to have features same as Linkedin.

Hello there,

Thank you for your interest in our theme. The theme is not compatible with BuddyPress. I am sorry. We are constantly improving our theme with new features. I’ll discuss about compatibility for BuddyPress with my team.

Thanks, Ibrahim

Hi Ibrahim, thank you. for being competitive with other themes, you may need to adopt Linkedin functionalities in your theme. the same you did partially in layout and search as user-friendly as possible. the company review, cv/resume import are good also. good luck.

Hello again,

Thank you for your suggestions. I will sit with my team and see how we can implement BuddyPress.

Once again I appreciate your inputs.

Thanks, Ibrahim

I LOVE version one of the home page. I’ve added a featured image that displays as a background for the hero/search section… How can I change the gradient color that’s being overlaid? Or remove it altogether?? I’ve searched and searched the settings… Thanks!

Hello there,

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. Here is our overlay gradient selector and code

.page-template-template-homepage-v1 .header-bg-default+.site-content-page-header:after {
    background-image: linear-gradient(45deg,#8b91dd 0%,#10195d 71%,#10195d 100%);
}

You can replace the gradient with the gradient of your choice and add it through Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

If you need help with this, please do not hesitate to reach us.

Hi, Need different dashboards instead of the one of Woocommerce

Hello there,

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. The Employer and Candidates dashboard are added to WooCommerce dashboard. If you de-activate WooCommerce, they will function as a standalone dashboards.

Hope this clarifies. Let us know if you have any other questions or need further help with the theme.

Hi,

First – thank you so much for the amazing support. Cannot say enough great things. So grateful for this!

I’ve seen two non WP job platforms offer Facebook Jobs tab page integration where jobs posted to the board are automatically posted to the tab and updated and taken down accordingly. Having something like this would be a huge boost in traffic for our site. Examples: https://www.work4labs.com/technology-for-talent-acquisition/post-a-job-on-facebook/ and https://resources.workable.com/tutorial/how-to-post-a-job-on-facebook

Would you consider building this? I’d be more than happy to buy that plugin!!

Hello there,

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. I am glad you are happy with our theme and support.

Thank you for the suggestion on FB tabs. I agree it would definitely be a big boost to jobs. This feature is best provided through a plugin. I will discuss this possibility with my team. However we will not be able to commence development for next 2 months owing to our commitment.

Once again I sincerely thank you for your inputs. I truly appreciate it.

Thanks, Ibrahim

Hi Ibrahim, thanks again for your consideration. While researching this while a page tab integration would be nice the real traffic would be integrating with Facebook’s Jobs API and publishing directly to their Jobs board: https://www.facebook.com/jobs/ much like the partnership mentioned here: https://techcrunch.com/2017/09/28/facebook-partners-with-ziprecruiter-and-more-aggregators-as-it-ramps-up-in-jobs/ This integration would set my job board and other using JobHunt or the plugin you create apart from those not offering this.

Hello Paul,

Thank you for your inputs. I am going through facebook’s documentation and see how a plugin can help do this. I am also passing this to the most popular WPJM plugin developer who is in a better position to do this. I will discuss with him and will let you know his feedback.

Thanks, Ibrahim

pre sale question;

1. core addons like wp job manager , is this free? would be have to purchase alot of other plugins to get the exact look and functionality of the demo? 2. there is no demo login for viewing the dashboards

Hello there,

Thank you for your interest in our theme. We are happy to answer your questions :

1. Only WP Job Manager is a freely available plugin. WP Job Manager Core AddOn is not free. This is the demo you get without the core add-ons : https://demo2.madrasthemes.com/jobhunt-without-core-addon-bundle/

2. You can register as employer and view the dashboards. If you’d like to view the admin dashboard, please email from our support and we’ll setup a trial for you.

Hope this answers your question. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks, Ibrahim

Hi there, so i have bought the theme. So, when i install it it wont appear the pages for “Resumes”, not on the wordpress dashboard. I know ill work with the extended plug in, but it says that the pages for the resumes comes with the theme and i cant see them..

Hello there,

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. I think there has been misunderstanding. Resume Manager is a plugin that is sold separately but compatible with this theme. You’ll get resumes page only if you have “Resumes Manager” enabled.

Hope this clarifies. Let us know if you have any other questions or need further help with the theme.

Thanks, Ibrahim

Hi, can i set my own svg logo on the site? How to change svg logo?

Hello there,

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. WordPress does not allow you to upload SVG files. To use an SVG logo copy this file :
wp-content/themes/jobhunt/templates/global/logo-svg.php
into your child theme like this :
wp-content/themes/jobhunt-child/templates/global/logo-svg.php

Now replace the contents of logo-svg with your own SVG.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other questions or need further help.

Thanks, Ibrahim

Is this theme compatible with WPML? We have some custom work, how we can discuss this with you?

Hello there,

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. The theme is not officially compatible with WPML. We are working with WPML team to get our theme listed officially as a compatible theme.

There may be small issues with WPML which we can help fix.

Regarding custom work, unfortunately we are unavailable for custom work. However if you can email our support on what you’d like to achieve I’ll make suggestions on how to achieve that.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other questions or need further help.

Thanks, Ibrahim

Hi there

This Job board has a lot of potential, however I’m now scratching my head as to how to do basic customisation I thought would be included. Wonder if you can clarify some things:

1) How can I edit the job fields and add/remove – e.g. the salary filed is a pre selected range, when I just need a blank text field. More importantly the submission forms are way too long so want to hide a lot of them

2) How can we send confirmation emails from Woocommerce as a Candidate and Employer separately (so they get different email content)

3) You mention extending Jobhunt functionality with 3rd party plugins, like candidates submitting CV with a form – “This add-on allows candidates to apply to jobs using a form & employers to view and manage the applications from their job dashboard. There’s also a form builder which helps you build custom “apply forms” But how do we configure them and make them work with the theme as there is no info in your Docs on this. I feel like Im taking a punt on buying another plugin that is another $40 with no idea how it will work?

You do have a GREAT looking jobs board and I know its new. Without number 1 I wont be able to use it for my needs and TBH I expected to be able to edit the fields at the very least.

Wait your response

Thanks

Hello again,

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. I appreciate your feedback and your points. We are happy to answer your questions :

1. Job Fields are generated from WP Job Manager Plugin. We’ve added few custom fields. You can edit the job fields using this custom code : https://wpjobmanager.com/document/editing-job-submission-fields/#section-1 We’ve added our fields by following these steps.

2. Candidates and Employers do not get emails from WooCommerce separately. However WooCommerce sends email for “New Account”. Ref : https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/configuring-woocommerce-settings/#section-19

3. The feature you are referring to is provided by Resume Manager. We’ve documented about it here : https://docs.madrasthemes.com/jobhunt/topics/set-up-resume-pages/ Resume Manager is available as a separate plugin as well as part of core AddOn bundle.

I understand your difficulties and we’ll try our best to help you with these. Please do not hesitate to reach us if you have any questions related to our theme.

Thanks, Ibrahim

I would try that if I knew where the code was in your Theme. Its not in the functions.php file far as I can see? I do not see the Plugin code for WPJM anywhere in the Zip file either?

If you could point me in the right direction that would be great.

Its a real pity you have to dive into theme/plugin code to change the name of a filed.

Hello again,

The theme does not display the Job Fields in admin panel. So it will not be in any of the theme code. All fields come from WP Job Manager. This plugin is not distributed with the theme but prompted to install after theme activation as a recommended plugin.

If you want the exact place to change the code, navigate to wp-content/plugins/wp-job-manager/includes/admin/class-wp-job-manager-writepanels.php between lines 56-100.

Ref : https://drive.google.com/a/transvelo.com/file/d/1DaylyR8eDOgJ0v_0umhJDF_E-ZvSTmNM/view?usp=drivesdk

However you should not be directly editing this file. You should make this change through your child theme’s functions.php. This documentation which I shared earlier explains 3 different ways to edit the fields : https://wpjobmanager.com/document/editing-job-submission-fields/

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other questions or need further help.

Thanks, Ibrahim

that’s awesome product by awesome support. thank you

Hello there,

Thank you for your comments. We appreciate it. We just released v1.1.0 which is RTL compatible.

Hi,

I’m about to purchasing this theme. Just a few quick questions here;

1. With the support, could you please install WP Job Manager plugin and set things in places for me? I’ll purchase it, of course. 2. Is it possible to filter candidates by tags? 3. Are all the skills displayed in filter area or just those related to the current candidates list be displayed? I’m a bit worried because my occupation range will be super wide. Thus, the skills list will be super long too.

Thank you! Alis

Hello there,

Thank you for your interest in our theme. We are happy to answer your questions :

1. WP Job Manager plugin is a free plugin that is available and it is not required to purchase it. Only WP Job Manager Core AddOn bundle needs to be purchased if you intend to use “Resume Manager” functionality.

2. You’ll have to rely on third-party plugin for candidate tags. The theme supports the plugin.

3. The skills filter displays all available skills for the result set.

Hope this answers your question. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks, Ibrahim

Hello I can’t see the Advanced Filter & Sorting Options in my page job.

Hello there,

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. Can you please check if Jobs Sidebar widget area has the filter widgets ? Ref : https://docs.madrasthemes.com/jobhunt/topics/blocks-sidebars/sidebars/#jobs-sidebar

If you are facing issues please email our support and we’ll help you out.

Thanks, Ibrahim

Hi, photo that you copied from WorkScout is copyrighted so we suggest to buy own license or use different photo because it’s quite characteristic photo and it might be misleading for people. https://demo2.madrasthemes.com/jobhunt/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/404.jpg https://www.stocksy.com/1278488

Hello there,

Thank you for pointing this out. I will ask the designer who supplied these images about the license. We are collaborating with him on this. If he does not have a license, I will buy one.

Thanks again, Ibrahim

If he didn’t then please consider changing this photo to other. We use it for a long time as a main photo in WorkScout. ;)

I completely understand. I wasn’t aware you had used this in WorkScout. Btw I am a big fan of WorkScout and Trizzy myself. ( Would like to collaborate with you sometime ).

I’ll better change the image when I am back in office tomorrow.

Thanks, Ibrahim
