I read that you use WP rocket as caching plugin. Would you mind sharing your settings -as far as possible – with us? I haven’t been able to ultimately track down the error but with wprocket enabled I am having a hard time using the customizer as it is extremely slow and laggy. And btw: it finally happened…all the best with this theme!
Hey Mrmad,
It finally did
Nice to hear from you and for getting Zeen!
Sure thing, open up a ticket at http://codetipi.ticksy.com and I’ll help be able to help you out.
Codetipi
Hi, I know Zeen already has the Tipi Builder, but is it also compatible with Elementor page builder? Mainly using Elementor for things like buttons, tables, some layouts.
Also requesting a Travel themed demo. Thanks!
Hey Dartiste,
Thanks for checking out Zeen
Yes, the theme is really cleanly coded so you can use other builders in it if you want. Of course you can’t mix Tipi Builder and Elementor on the same page, but you can use Elementor or other builders on specific pages if you like.
And a travel demo is definitely one of the first wave of new demos that will be coming. Although one Zeen customer showed me her amazing travel site that she is planning to use Zeen on and I will be adding it to a “Zeen Customer showcase” section on the description page when she finishes it, so there will be a real example hopefully soon.

Thanks for the reply, excited on your upcoming demos
To be clear, can I add a button or comparison table element from Elementor to a post?
If not, do you have these elements in the Tipi builder?
Also, are there blocks that I can use to build a “As featured on” section in the homepage showing a few brand logos in one horizontal line? Something like this: https://imgur.com/a/stgybpX
You’re welcome
Well posts aren’t controlled by the Tipi Builder. The idea of Zeen is that Gutenberg will eventually control post creation (but the theme will continue to add its own options on top to truly make them powerful/easy/special), and Tipi Builder will create your layouts for your homepage/category/tags/taxonomies. Because even though Gutenberg will eventually be able to control those things too (their long-term plans), I don’t think it’ll ever be able to product results as beautiful as a laser-focused standalone builder like Tipi Builder.
And if Elementor can do that for your posts now, then yeah you can definitely use it in Zeen.
Regarding that Featured on, funnily enough, the real site I mentioned above actually has that same block already and she simply put all the logos in one jpg (recommended to combine images into one for performance anyway), and then added it on her homepage via the Tipi Builder Image block, super easy, and looks similar to that screenshot you shared
Codetipi
Hi team… a question…
How i can change de logo size in the main header? i need to use a bigger one
Cheers!
Hey N3k0,
The logo you use outputs at full size, so whatever your logo image size is, it should appear exactly in that size
The theme doesn’t override the size to give you total control over it.
Codetipi
mmm… strange… i have to select again the logo and now its show with the correct size.
Thx for the reply
Cheers!
Happy you got it sorted
Are you enjoying the theme?
So far, so good. Still i have to figure how to add some things i need. But, if I have a problem, I let you know
Cheers!
Sounds good
Great theme! Same as above, Im wondering if it’s compatible with VC and just in case as we have a lot of older articles using custom layout with VC.
Do you think it will work smoothly with an archive of more than 10K articles ?
Hey Cyrilstyle,
Thanks
Just typed a response about VC, check it out and let me know if you want to know anything else.
Yeah the theme should be able to handle any site size, it’s usually WordPress the one that can struggle with such a big site
Codetipi
Thank you for speedy answer: I use VC for Homepage and custom page/post layouts. Im sure with tipi builder you wont need it, but just want to make sure it will work while it’s still an active plugin
Just for my old articles so they’re not broken.
1) About the URLs, does it count as pageviews every time you go to the next article ? (since it’s Ajax) Because when I go back with my browser arrows, it changes the URLs but not the content ?
2) Is it possible to choose any of the layouts for the default posts?
3) Can we create our own ‘custom layout’? I need a 100% fullwidth, 0 margins or padding, all open from header to footer. Is it something I can do easily?
4) How does the category page layout works ? Can we set a different layout for each category ?
5) How does the images are treated ? if let’s say all my old images are resized for medium at 800px width, does the theme needs to do any type of resizing ? and if yes, can we have it turn off ? (I have a lot of images)
6) how does the self-hosted fonts works ? custom with @fontface or ?
7) Can we add some sort of subscribe callout or info box or ad banners at the bottom of the posts on infinite scroll ? Will it be the same everywhere or can we chose different ones ?
Does the Trending posts comes from Jetpack stat views ?
9) What sort of customization can we do to your Blocks ? Is it possible to add custom CSS to each article if needed ?
Sorry for all the questions, but I’d love to setup and test the theme but im afraid it will need a lot of customizations and things might break and at the end I wont use it…
You’re welcome
I see that you purchased Zeen now, thanks very much for getting it, I hope you enjoy using it!
You’ve probably played around and have answers for everything too, but just very quickly in case someone else wonders the same questions:
1- Yes it is coded to do that
2- Yup, super easy in the theme options > posts you set your default post set up.
3- Layout for what exactly? If it’s a homepage, yeah you can set it up that way.
4- Yes, the Tipi Builder can be used on category/tags/taxonomies too. You can set a default standard layout in the theme options, but for special categories that you want to add extra things, you would use the Tipi Builder in them.
5- You can turn off specific thumbnails from the theme, but like any theme, it has its own needed sizes, and unless your previous theme used identical sizes, you will need to run the “Force regenerate thumbnails” plugin to update them all.
6- Yeah, the theme makes it easier to target elements though and has some instructions in there too.
7- At the end of posts yes, but not on ones loaded via infinite scroll as most ad services don’t allow sites to inject ads into a site this way! May be able to add subscribe box option to load each time though.
8- Yes.
9- You can customize the look in the theme options, make sure to watch this video for better understanding how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKHONci9PCY
Hope this helps

I have never seen a theme like this. It looks turbo-powered in a whole new way. My current site is built extensively with Visual Composer– which has done really well for us. Is the theme compatible with VC?
Hey Outloudgreetings,
It is a next generation theme, so I’m happy you say that
The theme hasn’t been tested with VC and definitely doesn’t need it at all, but it should work fine. Out of curiosity, what exactly do you use VC for though? Is it the homepage/posts?
Codetipi
Great work! Crongrats.
Only one question. I have seen this issue in most of themes with auto load next post:
Only in mobile, you are reading the a post, you scroll down to the next post (the url changes) and you want to share this post via whatsapp; you push the whastapp share button, but it shares the first post, not the second post you are reading.
I don’t know if this issue is easy to fix.
Anyway, amazing theme.
Hey Iamaudience,
Thanks you!
The share buttons block that appear at the end of each new post does work as expected, the urls are the right nows. But I just noticed myself that the sticky bottom bar with social icons doesn’t update as you scroll, is that what you are referring to? If so, that is indeed something that will be tweaked, as it should update as well!
Will likely be part of the next update
Thanks again,
codetipi
Ok! Yeah, the sticky bottom bar. That’s what I’m referring to. Thanks!
Ah yeah cool no worries, that has been added to the to-do list. Will try to do it for the next update
That’s an impressive piece of work! Absolutely incredible attention to detail with that page builder. You deserve the sales
Hey Osetin,
Thank you so much, appreciate that
Codetipi
Hi. We’ve purchased the theme. I see you guys use high-power CDN and cache on your demo. Will we be able to use the same cashing to get the same speed for our client’s website? Or is it impossible without premium CDN and other premium plugins?
Hey Wezomua,
Thanks for getting Zeen, hope you enjoy it
The theme uses super clean and modern code so that part of performance is covered for you already.
Then you can add any cache plugin you want on to it, the theme demo uses WP Rocket, as it’s my personal favorite one, but W3 Total Cache set up properly is just as fast in my experience.
The CDN is a bonus for extra performance, and they are so cheap these days I’d recommend it to everyone! Obviously though I don’t know any details of your clients, but perhaps they might want to use one too as it’s such as easy extra to add. However, even without CDN, if the hosting company is decent, it should still give great performance.
Other than that, just make sure images are optimized before uploading and you should get amazing performance
Codetipi
Would you accept a refund request when the theme doesn’t work for me please?
Hey MAFMaxFabi,
Thanks for the interest in Zeen
But why do you think the theme won’t work for you? Is there something in specific that you’d like to know about the theme before you make your final decision?
Codetipi
We actually have a site online already. My business partner says we don’t need a new site but I think your theme can add some real value to our site.
I have to create a really good site with your theme which has the ability to convince me and my business partner.
This is why I have to make sure we can refund the theme if it doesn’t turn out good enough. Hope this makes sense.
Since refunds with Envato seem to be pretty easy and you only have to accept, I can take the step and try out your theme.
Ah I see! Makes sense, but can I ask if you wrote on the Zeen landing page chat earlier? Because I answered to your questions there, and we can continue chatting further
A business design would be good to see. We’ve needed a better magazine design for a long time.
Hey Jeffrey,
Thanks so much for checking out Zeen
The theme will be getting lots of new demos over time, and there are plans for more business-type demos in the future. As the Tipi Builder evolves further and if it gets new blocks for business niches, it’ll be easy to create.
Codetipi
This was supposed to be a reply but it wasn’t posting on our conversation.
Re: custom css classes…
I mean adding your own custom classes to each element if you wish to style even further. For example, in Visual Composer, you can add my-custom-class to a particular element and then style it later with css like:
.my-custom-class {
/* custom css here */
}
I couldn’t find anywhere in the Tipi builder to add custom classes—did I miss it? Now that I mention it, it would be so handy to have a “custom CSS” in the Tipi builder because going back and forth from the builder to the theme options can get repetitive
I’ll send the rest of my feedback by support forum! Thanks!
Hey again,
Oh I see, you mean add actual custom classes to a block, that is actually super easy to do and can definitely be added. However, in the v1.0.2 update, I added a new mini section at the bottom of a block’s options panel, that gives you a unique class to target that specific block.
Is that enough for your needs, or do you want to create a global X style with class Y, and then you want to apply class Y to certain blocks?
Tipi Builder is only v1, so it will be evolving massively over time depending on user needs/suggestions/requests, so keep them coming
Codetipi
I know the builder is brand new and you’ve had a ton of sales and support questions already… so I totally appreciate your effort and openness to feedback!
I’ve just updated the theme so I’ll check it out! In general though, I think it’s nice to be able to assign custom classes exactly for the reason you mentioned—to apply global styles if needed
Do you think it’s possible to add a custom CSS panel to the Tipi Builder? I know that it’s there in the options panel, but it would definitely be helpful to have it in the builder too so you can avoid going back and forth between the builder and the theme options panel. Not essential… but just something I’ve had to do a lot while customizing my elements further
Absolutely, the direction of the evolution of Zeen and Tipi Builder are going to mostly come from you guys, so it will always be open and all feedback welcome
Once the dust has settled a bit more I’ll be able to look into bigger new features properly, and a custom css panel inside the builder is definitely a possibility.
Thanks again, and for now if you can put all your suggestions in a single ticket in the support system, I’ll eventually get around to going it through with you. Just try to be succinct though please, as my brain is overloading at the moment from so much activity everywhere
Great Theme! Really good work!
Hey MacJosetty,
Thanks very much, I hope you enjoy using it
V1.0.2 was just released, and it fixes some early discovered quirks, so recommended to update
Codetipi
Just when I swore I would not buy anymore WP themes here for a while… CODETIPI Changes the WP GAME!!! Just watched the highlight video BLOWN AWAY #GameChanger and yes one of my all time fav WordPress developers AGAIN #NEXTLEVEL !! I have to be up in 5 hours but asap will make a new Zeem demo here to show a lucky new client asap and rate 5+ Stars as all ways!! #GRATEFUL100 for YOU for One and ALL!!
Streling!!! Nice to see you
So happy you like it and I’ve barely slept over the last 48 hours, so that makes two of us
Just released v1.0.2 to fix some quirks with the demo import in case you plan on using that.
Best of luck with your client!
Chris

Rated 5 stars BIGTIME (of course, all of your work is Chri$!!) and had this built in like an hour https://zeentheme.demo.site/ WOW! (and thanks for including images, that’s always a pet peeve of mine with so many free royalty high quality images sites now never understand why many developers don’t include image) . Curious man, if I import a demo into a partially built current client build -very frustrated w this theme https://l7productions.demo.site/- will it delete the current pages and images and menu etc? LOVE ZEEN 100!!! Hope you can get some rest soon brother Codetipi #welldeserved and Hope this WP bad boy explode$ in sales!!
Amazing Sterling, really happy you’re loving it
The only thing is that the demo images are actually 100% not meant to be included as they are under license, I had a look and it’s a bug in the script that processed the demo files and is updated right now! So I’m afraid to say that can you please delete the images and set some Unsplash ones! You can do it super easy with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/instant-images/ as you can search for relevant niche ones in there, super easy.
Codetipi
Hello, is there an example with picture captions? I need it for all photos

Great Work, Congratulations GLWS
Hey TmdStudio
Thank you very much
Codetipi
Dear Sir …In envato new arrival list its price shows $39 but here its $54 ,,...Seems jumps in a day only , which s not fair for your lovers….,Anyways congratulations for your new gorgeous product ,,,,,, Check the DEMO of zeen is not showing complete on mobile device, its different from desk top zeen demo..
REGARDS
Hey Frbuttpk,
Thanks for checking out Zeen and for the kind words
Ah that is because the $39 was for the first 100 customers, so it has expired now I’m afraid. Sorry that you missed it! The next 100 customers are still getting an amazing deal at $54 though
Regarding the mobile site, that is actually on purpose, in the Tipi Builder you can set modules to appear/not appear on mobile, so to show this feature, the desktop/mobile look different.
However, if you prefer, you can also have the same blocks on both desktop/mobile, it’s complete up to you.
Thanks again!
Chris
I’ve been playing with the theme all day and have some feedback—most notably, it would be very helpful to be able to be able to assign custom classes to individual elements in the builder. I’m a bit surprised that isn’t an option already… I’m finding it a bit difficult to customize with my own CSS as it is right now. Is this something that could be added soon? I also have some other not-so-urgent feedback but I can send it support forum! Overall, great theme/builder with a lot of potential! Thanks
Hey again,
That’s so lovely to hear
Regarding CSS to individual elements, do you mean to target individual blocks? If so, That is already possible! Let me know and also tell me what exactly you want to customize and I can advise and explain the Tipi Builder approach.
And yes please, if you can put it all in a ticket in the support system it will be easy to go through it all.
Thanks again
Codetipi
Hello,
How can I submit a ticket to the support ? There is no ZEEN category to choose when I am submitting a ticket…
I imported TECH demo and it doesn’t look as shown on the demo … The fonts are totally different, even widgets look different
Hey Kiko91,
Did you try here: http://codetipi.ticksy.com ? Because there has already been a ticket for Zeen added earlier, so I think it is working fine.
Let me know so I can look into it!
