Anyone is using WPML plugin with this theme? WPML was directly recommended to me by the ThemeRex support, but I’m totally struggling to use it. Translating posts is a breeze, but any theme-specific names / strings seem non-translatable. WPML keeps scanning the theme for strings but returns nothing…

Well, I’ve managed to get the theme scanned after a dew reinstalls of WPML. But now I’m stuck with another issue – this theme seems to keep certain info in its own database tables, and WPML cannot access it to translation (e.g. profile information or section headings). I’ve submitted the ticket to the ThemeRex support, let’s see…

I want to buy this but I found a big problem when previewing your demo on my mobile (Iphone 6s plus). The profile picture doesn’t show at all when viewing the site demo when the phone is upright (in portrait mode). It only shows the pic if I turn my phone sideways (landscape mode). It should jump the pic above her name if there isn’t enough screen space to show it in portrait mode not get rid of it completely..Has this been fixed?

Hello. Unfortunately, that set of icons that we use can no longer be changed, so we can’t add more icons to the pack.
How is it possible that you can’t add? Can you explain it to me? Its not a huge change, I’m also a developer so I know what I’m talking, you can’t say it like it’s impossible to do that. I just don’t like making child themes just to have that small feature and I’d like to stick with the main theme as much as possible so I ask that request not now but to your next update. I have installed the shift cv theme, the blog icon link doesn’t show the blogs that have been created, there is also an issue with titles for employment – both lead to 404.

The theme has began to be a bit outdated. I think it has something to do with the old jQuery version; like someone else here, I’ve had the problem with non-expanding profile sections. What is strange, it only happens when the third party scripts, meaning the google maps, are disabled with uBlock origin! I, and many others, keep the 3rd party scripts disabled due to security concerns. I quess the callback function in the jQuery causes it.

Actually, our theme used jQuery as loaded by WP core – version 1.12.4. The question’s premise that jQuery 1.12.4 is “outdated” is a nonsense. The 1.x branch includes support for IE 6/7/8 and the 2.x branch does not. https://blog.jquery.com/2016/05/20/jquery-1-12-4-and-2-2-4-released/
We tested the theme for compatibility with uBlock Origin – everything works like a charm. Maybe it’s due to your personal settings of this plugin?

Hello! Thank you for your correction. Indeed, it appears that the theme script does not allow the page categories to expand unless all the elements are loaded, including the external ones from Google. That’s strange, hopefully it does not affect any visitors who have 3rd party sources blocked.
