Hello, I am following up on a question about the Noren theme. Do you have an updated version that is compatible with Shopify 2.0? Also, I have hired several contractors to fix the template, but it still does not appear the way it does on the preview. Does this company freelance work, if so, I would like to get an estimate on your pricing to fix the template since it is your creation. Outside web designers have not been able to place my products on the correct page or assign pages correctly, stating that it is not a Shopify theme. This is nerve-racking given that I love the theme and we go live at the end of this month.

I am writing because this theme is not uploading to Shopify. When I contacted Shopify, they advised me to contact the creator of the theme. So I did. Further, the error message that I am receiving is as follows: “zip does not contain a valid theme: missing template “layout/theme.liquid” Please help me resolve this issue. Best, Josette

Hi, found 2 bugs in your theme v1.0.0.3.

1st, the link to checkout in the header-minicart.liquid is relative to the current path. It should be ”/checkout”, not “checkout”. You can even reproduce this bug in your demo app.

2nd, the CloudZoom js plugin blows up if you have a 1 or more variants for a product with a featured-image. Offending code is in product.liquid:249,

The selector $(”.cloud-zoom”) does not appear to exist on the page?

This breaks other js on the page, such as clicking on the cart in the menu to be able to checkout.

I’m surprised these bugs havent been picked up before, they are pretty serious issues for a live site. Our analytics show people abandoning carts.

Can you fix this as a priority please?

I have purchased the Noren Theme. I can supply the purchase code for proof if requested on this question.

I am just wanting to know where I go to add the blog section in the main menu as well as ensure the links to the areas such as Faqs, Blog and Shop can also be seen in the main menu on the home page.

I can edit the content on these pages but cannot see them in the menu tap on the home page for Index 1.

I’m having an issue with the pagination on the Noren theme. The site is loaded with products; however, the item total at the top isn’t giving me a proper total. iI simply reads “Item 1 to of items”.

Because of this, there is no pagination and creates a large scroll of products that eventually cut off. Can you please advise on this issue?

Hi, I am using Noren Index 3 and I noticed that in the quick view of my product theres an ‘Add to Cart’ button which gives you a ‘successful’ pop up once you’ve added the item to the cart. I am trying to replicate a similar thing on my ‘collections’ page, is this achievable? I can only seem to get the ‘Add to Cart’ button on the ‘collections’ page to go to the Cart page but all I’d like to do is give an indicator to the user that the ‘Add to Cart’ function was a success.
