Thanks for the great work on this template !
However, the pictures (portfolio_1, _2, _3..) behind the countdown are “cut” in the top of each of them (horizontally).
I didn’t succeed to modify this behavior through the css..
Could you please help ?

I have one question regarding the RSVP form:
In which way do I have to adapt the sender.php in order to have the filled in E-Mail address of the sender shown in the sent notification as FROM.

If you want the sender to receive a copy of the mail you send, add the following line to the recipient:
$mail->addAddress($post_arr[ ‘email’]); // Add a recipient

Hey, I was having an issue with the video-background template autoplaying my Youtube video. If I refresh the page, it autoplays, but on first load, it doesn’t. Also, this only happens locally. In live, it doesn’t work at all and instead, shows the slider images and not the video background.

Please try the Arlin demo page. I have tested your issue and there is no such error. The video will also appear after refreshing the page. The background appears while the video is loading.

Great template, thank you very much for creating it!
I had a small issue where the portfolio section would flicker. I think it only occurs in Google Chrome and only at certain screen resolutions. Chrome is trying to show a vertical scroll bar for that section and seems to glitch and show/hide the scrollbar a few times very quickly which is causing the content to shift left and right. Removing or commenting out line 240 in style.css (overflow-x: hidden;) fixed it for me.

I love the look of this theme, it’s very smooth, and there are a few different options. The dev has chosen to keep it quite simple so it’s all static pages. I get why, as no database is required, but it would be nice for there to be a way to add blog posts. My other half would never be able to do this, so I ripped it out.
I’m not much of a dev but I managed to implement an invite code system at the bottom using ajax that stores the responses in a database for meal choices etc and emails me. It has made our wedding invites etc much simpler.

The problem has been fixed. Please check that the correct file has been uploaded to the server. It works well on the demo page and has been modified in the download file.
The following file should be checked: css/style.css
Check the following line: 227 And add this:
body {overflow-x: hidden; }

I see the space is now covered, but there is a horizontal scrolling when you try to sweep left the page scrolls to the left introducing the white space i am talking about, is there a way i can send you screen shot?

Is the template suitable for purely static site deployment? The only thing that I see failing to work is the RSVP, right?

The Arlin – Responsive HTML5 Wedding Template, copied to the server to run independently. The RSVP form is processed by a template in a php file. Email sending is done with ajax without reloading the page. The form can be expanded by rewriting the html file.

Arlin is a lovely theme and I wish you well with it. However, having purchased and installed it, I find that I can’t create sub-menus for the main (desktop) navigation menus.
For example, take the ‘Pages’ navigation item on your demo site. Let us say, as an example, that I want the 5 Blog items below Home Page and above the divider and Box Layout to be a fly-out box to the right of the dropdown. How can I do that, please?

The dropdown can be moved to any menu item. Copy the “page” menu item to the place where you want the dropdown. Change the menu name.

I am building my wedding website for next year. I’ve noticed google maps API does not work anymore. Is there by any chance you have replacement code available for a free maps replacement? For example OpenStreetMaps (openstreetmap.org).

I do not currently plan to replace a google map. Google maps api has been paid for, but only for high-visibility websites.
