Hi,
I can’t update plugin WPBakery Page Builder from version 5.5.4 to version 5.6 The error says:
To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your WPBakery Page Builder. Got WPBakery Page Builder in theme?
I open the Settings and it says:
In order to receive all benefits of WPBakery Page Builder, you need to activate your copy of the plugin. By activating WPBakery Page Builder license you will unlock premium options – direct plugin updates, access to template library and official support.
By pressing the botton below “Activate WPBakery Page Builder” the a WPBakery Page Builder page opens which says:
NO LICENSES FOUND It seems that you do not have any valid license for WPBakery Page Builder. What does it mean? It may be so that you got WPBakery Page Builder by purchasing WordPress theme which does not grant you with direct license for WPBakery Page Builder.
What to do? Thank you in advance!

When it comes to logo, you should go to the page where default theme’s logo is displayed and scroll all the way down until you see “Logo” area, where you should remove preset logos.

Hello I mean the full screen menu. I can not include screenshots. What I want to modify is the icon of the muno.
As for the logos, they are deactivated in the page, and uploaded in the options of the theme, but it continues appearing in menu of the theme when unfolding the menu.

Header types should be changed from Elated Options > Header. If that’s not applying, go to the page where it’s not working and scroll down until you see “Header Section”. Change all values to blank or default and main theme options will apply. Same counts for Logo.

Yes, I know. All those steps I have followed since I made the first attempt, because the logo is not changed. The logo continues to appear by default.

If none works for you, perhaps you we can help you achieve desired appearance with some minor CSS changes.
When it comes to image gallery, this is default WPBakery shortcode & can easily be created. We didn’t showcase that particular feature, as it’s included in every WPBakery plugin package, so it’s not that special. We tend to showcase our own, more advanced shortcodes we develop for each theme individually.

If you don’t want to click on portfolio item to be redirected and have only images, we can help you with that. You just need to include simple CSS snippet to prevent clicking on portfolio item. It’s a 5sec task and we’ll definitely help you achieve that.

CSS snipper would be okay. But if I had 10 image per portfolio and I have 10 portfolio items, does that mean I have to make 100 portfolio pages and remove the link from portfolio item?

One CSS snippet will remove pointer events for all your portfolio items. If you have 100 images, you need to upload them to 100 different portfolio items, as featured images. This you’d generally have to do even if you find some image gallery with this functionality.

I do not recommend buying this theme! Demo content isn’t loading properly until you set your PHP configuration to: max_execution_time to 300 or post_max_size to 256M. Ridiculous for a quite minimal WordPress theme. Very badly designed and documented. Server requirements are not mentioned in the theme documentation – that’s why I am requesting a refund right now.
By the way, they replied:
“Please, note that premium themes need some fair enough resources. Refund should be declined when the item did not meet the users expectations. You can talk to Envato, as they wrote refund policy.”.
Please be careful and avoid!

The values you mention are not required in case you don’t wish to download media library on your side. If you don’t want to use theme demo images, you don’t have to do anything regarding server modification and you could download demo layout via WordPress’ default XML import tool.
On the other hand, these resources needs to be upgraded because this is a premium theme that features premium functionalities. There is no other way to import demo content without setting a higher standard for PHP values. This is like wanting to drive a car on water fuel. It’s simply not possible.
Any serious hosting provider will meet your needs and set these parameters on your behalf and if you’re having trouble changing these values, you should change hosting service.

I bought your theme from my friend’s account and now I am helping him to configure and install everything. The problem is that I still get errors when activating Elated CPT. My PHP version is 7.2 and I did set permissions for css and js folders to 755. The error message is: “The plugin generated 4 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.”.

All the header areas have widget areas that you can add items to. So you need to navigate to Appearance > Widgets > find appropriate widget area for the header you are using and then add elements that you want.

We couldn’t replicate that error with latest theme version, so if it was present, it is fixed now. Probably it was related to WooCommerce compatibility if you have used latest plugin version, and as you can see, compatibility with Woo 3.3.4 was added in latest theme update.
