it will be good if you can make the theme to support ultimate video player plugin and vooplayer. jwplayer license is expensive. your theme should be able to support other player plugins.

JWPlayer is a great hosting service, accompanied by a player with high compatibility.
There are quite a few of our customers using this service.
To integrate a new player. We care a lot about their API ( related to the development of javascript code ). Ex: https://developer.jwplayer.com/jw-player/docs/javascript-api-reference/
It needs enough APIs to integrate with this theme’s library.
Maintenance of javascript codes is very important. We need to make sure that it is constantly supported to fix problems from the browser.
It would be troublesome if someday javascript codes get into trouble when browsers issue new updates.
This is why we are very cautious when it comes to supporting new players.
We need time to learn about it before making a decision.

Hello, I am launching a new video site using the Video Rev theme and we already have a lot of video views from Vimeo from our old site, is it possible for the view counter on the new video site to reflect the views we already have on Vimeo that we got from the old site ? Hope that makes sense

You need to use a third party video hosting service.
Ex: JWPlayer – https://www.jwplayer.com/
Their system will process your video and automatically generate different resolutions.

Hi, I’m using a third party video host (Vooplayer) with the theme and I’m having an issue with the lightbox. The video resumes playback even when the lightbox is closed or the video is changed. Is there a simple workaround to this issue?
To be more specific, multiple videos will play at once when the lightbox closes or the videos are changed. How do I stop the playback of the video like the standard configuration of the lightbox player?

To control the player. We must integrate APIs from video networks (Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Twitch, Facebook) or the mediaelement.js player for self-hosted videos. Ex: https://developers.google.com/youtube/player_parameters
You will not be able to have such features when using video from other video networks.
Similarly, to do this. Need to integrate their APIs: https://app.vooplayer.com/docs/api/
Currently, we only support jwPlayer ( https://www.jwplayer.com/ ). This is a service similar to vooPlayer

2,3, 4/ Pre-Roll Ads only applies to Google IMA:
With all other ad modes. You can set the time you want (ad start time, ad skipping time, ad repeat time, etc.). It is not restricted.
With video ad mode, you can upload your own video.
5/ You can use the M3U8 format to restrict users to download.
6/ There are 2 modes: apply to all videos or each video.
7/ Users can create their own channel ( We have not integrated it with membership level and user role, it will be added in the future )
8/ No, it only supports fetching data from Vimeo

Very disappointed with your response, we are being patient, we’ve waited 4 months now!!!!!!!!! Please don’t tell us you are going to do it by a certain date and then miss it. We have customers to keep happy. I think our customer should have chosen vlogger theme.
We are doing our best to support our customers. Sometimes the progress is not as expected because of personnel issues. There are former employees who leave and new employees replace. They have to get used to the job.
A colleague of mine is taking this task. He is working with the designer to come up with the best solution for the new interface.
We don’t want old elements to be in trouble when the entire container of the website changes. It will be full width and entail many other elements that need to add CSS code to meet.
Surely in this February you will receive a new version with full width.
Tell your customers that it is being developed and perfected as best as possible.

If we can still use elementor to add padding and margins then I think it’’s a great function.
I personally prefer it to the narrower version but that’s just me.
Most of my clients want minimilism, lots of white space, simple navigation, but full use of their screen size width.
